In here right now for my birthday dinner. Service trying to get a table was a horrible. Asked for a highchair from one of the staff and she gave me an attitude, told me to ask the waitress. Good may be nice but this place isn’t worth it. Saw one of the workers texting at the service desk while talking to customers. Horrible horrible horrible. Rather go to fast food next time.

There’s a reason why this place has a three-word name. The hibachi, sushi, and buffet are of different distinct levels of quality. If you want to steer clear of the disappointing, go with the hibachi. Your own blend, freshly prepared. That was good stuff!

I have eaten here only once, so give it a three star, but can’t say that is a thorough assessment. There were several dishes that were really good, like the chicken on a stick, but I also noticed that the onions and green peppers were rather hot, which is not what I am used to from some other Chinese places I have eaten. Then when something set my mouth and tongue on fire, I had to go for the ice cream and never did get to try a second dish. I might come back here, but will be much more careful when I pick out what to eat.

I’ve been here with the family a few times when we have the urge for Chinese food. Everything here is pretty standard as far as Chinese buffets go. The difference is this place has huge options and everything is constantly being topped off so it’s fresh. The additional option of the sushi bar and the grill is the icing on this cake. Lunch buffet for two adults with waters came to $ 16. Standard food and service every time.

Not terrible food, really bad service, depending on your server, nice layout, dirty restrooms,

Dingy, cheap place. Was craving some wings. These wings I wasn’t for sure was chicken, could of been bat wings. Food was dried and old. Sushi was only cooked chicken or imitation crab with some pickle Vegs. Dumpling had a funny taste. Came down to it I didn’t trust the food. Should of went to lees chicken for sure. Be warned

My son and I have been going to their sister restaurant(at one time the King Wok then Hibachi Grill Buffet) on West Main after church on Sundays for the last 10 years. But it just closed. We are so sad. We’ve tried the Hibachi Sushi Buffet on South Westnedge a few times. It’s okay with lots of food, hot, plentiful, tasty. It is a large restaurant and is furnished very nice. It is not crowded and quite pleasant. Unfortunately their selection of sushi is pretty dismal. I love hot and sour soup but this location seems to be hit or miss. The quality of the food here isn’t as consistent as it was at their West Main location

EDIT: Both of us came down with a bad case of food poisoning. We blame this place for it. How the heck does a joint like this stay in business? The first thing you’ll notice is that there aren’t any labels on the buffet– so you’d better know what your dish looks like ahead of time.(In other words: Have a food allergy? Avoid this place at all costs.) The sushi is terrible– S tried a roll and mentioned it just didn’t taste fresh at all– in fact, it tasted rather fishy, which good sushi just isn’t supposed to do. She’s currently hoping she hasn’t got food poisoning, and wishes she just waited until 4:30 when her usual sushi place opened. It seemed like no matter what I tried, it wasn’t worth the money– egg rolls were overdone and dry, roasted chicken was just too overdone, and most of the Chinese dishes were simply lukewarm and just sitting there to stew further in their sauces. The coconut shrimp was okay, but one dish can’t save a place like this. Desserts were another disappointment– they’re obviously brought in from a wholesaler and not made on-site. You get what you pay for– in this case, indigestion, sour stomach, the need to run to the Meijer’s down the road for some Pepto… just avoid this joint at all costs, your stomach will thank you.

Erhmergherd. I just walked out of this place and my stomach is already giving me the finger. So gross and dirty. This is the kind of place you come to when you want to test your body’s ability to fight horrible things. Gas, and indigestion, heartburn, and that feeling that maybe you’ll be spending the night in your bathroom, or the Emergency Room. Our normal sushi spot down the road was closed so we drove up to Hibachi«sushi» buffet to give it a try. First off, the name is misleading. They have one little Hibachi section and about 6 – 8 types of sushi, all with crab. So, there’s crab with salmon, California rolls, and crab, and more crab with other ingredients. And then there’s a very confused Chinese-ish buffet. So there are things like over-cooked chow mein, mystery dumplings, soups, won-tons, beef and vegetable dishes, etc… And then there’s the other things like corn and french fries, under-cooked fried shrimp, uncleaned shrimp cocktail. A lot of items aren’t labeled or are labeled incorrectly. And then there’s the typical membership club dessert tray type cakes, and some hard ice cream that you can scoop yourself. The floors are absolutely filthy, worn, and have caked-on dirt, the window sills are loaded with dust and crumbs, the booths are lumpy, worn out messes. I haven’t been in a place this dirty and worn looking in my life. It’s not kind of gross in a divey-but-great sort of way, it’s just flat out nasty and filthy, and almost everything I ate with the exception of the won-tons(cooked fine) and the undercooked mushy fried shrimp, and the white rice, had a funny flavor, like they were cooked in dirty pans or really old oil. The bathroom had a leaky sewage smell, a clogged sink, I could go on and on. I don’t take reviews like this lightly. It would be one thing if this were just a crappy buffet with food that I don’t like but it’s not. They serve many dishes I normally enjoy but I wouldn’t recommend anybody go here, even knowing what you are getting in to, it just isn’t worth it. Unless you like living on the edge. When we left my mom tried to address some of the cleanliness concerns we had but they just kind of shrugged us off as we walked out past the indoor koi-pond… with turtles. How anybody thought having sometime salmonella-carrying critters in a restaurant would be a good idea is beyond me.

When ever we are in the mood for a lot of food, we come here. The food has always been fresh and tons to choose from. There is many deserts and 6 or so tubs of self serve ice cream. Their sushi is meh. Haven’t tried their hibachi. Docking one star for not having drink machines. Hate having to get refills from servers at any buffet.

This place is where Asian food meets Golden Corral. Three buffet steam tables with approx 25 typical Chinese entrees, a sushi table which didn’t look too appealing(to me), a Mongolian BBQ area which looked really good but had a bunch of folks in line and I wasn’t up for the wait, and a dessert bar. All that for something like $ 10. What I selected from the entrees was good enough that I had seconds. This is not 5-star quality Asian food, but it’s decent and it’s inexpensive.
