A Kalamazoo classic, with good hardware selection and friendly, knowlegeable staff. Tom, who’s worked there for 5 decades, will take outstanding care of your lawn mower servicing needs in the shop in the back at a reasonable price. We just got ours back within 2 days for $ 50 and change. Got a couple keys cut while they loaded the heavy beast into my truck. They’ve maintained a business presence in Edison, a downtown neighborhood that’s had its ups and downs, for several generations. Street parking in front and a lot in the back with entrance on the side street.

Scary run down looking from outside store, but this is one of the best kind of old hardware store in town.
Wonderful knowledgeable people and hard to find items.
