I’m reviewing them updating their look. Good job. I’m sure you guys were quite well aware that nobody wanted to go to a window-less concrete pill box that had a sign that looked like two guys were fighting eachother. I’m glad one of you guys looked up as you unlocked the door one day and exclaimed«I know why nobody comes here, it doesn’t look like a fun and/or safe time». way to go, guys.

Great karaōke! They have this huge book of songs and you always have something fun to sing. I had a blast there.

Was there on a Wednesday for the first time — lots of fun watching ppl make a fool of themselves doing karaōke ;). Seriously, great old fashion bar with a great bartender that never lets your glass get empty(I think her name was Cindy– sorry if I’m wrong– thanks for great service). Recommend to all whether your local or from WMU. UPDATE: Just stopped by again and OMG!!! What happened, the bar not only move, which is no big deal, but it went totally Gay. I don’t mind«mixed company» but this is a complete change. Looks like Cindy is no longer there :(instead there was some jerk tending bar with a real attitude and provided terrible service — I don’t know, maybe cuz I’m straight. The home bar is not my home bar!!!

WMU students should definitely check this place out. It’s off the beaten path but well worth it. They serve your beer in a mason jar and they are 35 cents on Thursdays for happy hour. Kind of sketchy but that’s half the fun.

There aren’t very many of these types of bars left: dirty, gritty, smoky, with the old 70’s beer ad mirrors — a classic«hole in the wall». Especially, after Green Top cleaned up… just a sleepy corner bar for the locals… Karaōke night is on Thursdays, everything sounds better after the second or third drink. Anything goes. I do not Karaōke… but you never know who can be an entertainer. 3 and ½ stars
