I’m a sucker for their brisket, potato salad and mac and cheese. Yum! The corn bread is very bland.

We arrived at 7:00. They were out of ribs, out of brisket, out of wings and out of mac-n-cheese. Twice we asked for some extra sauce on the side, but we didn’t get any. What we had was only so-so, and we don’t have any reason to go back.

Beef brisket has no flavor, it had sauce on it and it was disgusting. I will continue to go to Arcadia Ales for the real beef smoked brisket!

I used Hogzilla to cater my husbands birthday bash. We are from Chicago so I was worried about the men of the group liking it being, that they are BBQ lovers, The verdict was… Everyone loved everything, the pulled pork went first and then the spare ribs and the bone in chicken. The Mac and cheese was also gone in heart beat. Needless to say I am very please with hogzilla the customer service was great, they brought everything in the house and set up the food for me, which made the cleanup very easy. the food was remarkable, I truly recommend Hogzilla for casual catering events.

Had a brisket sandwich Brisket was overcooked, and their sauce was not freshly made — you could taste the preservatives and the sauce tasted gross Fries were good THEYDONOTHAVE A BATHROOM Couldn’t even wash hands after eating. This place has not been cleaned recently. The floors are dirty and need love. The staff doesn’t want to be here. Girl behind the counter was on the phone with someone not business related the whole time she was taking forever with paying BBQ customers.

Amazing! In town for a baseball tournament and used Unilocal to find somewhere great to eat… the reviews were spot on. We ordered the feast for two and took it back to our hotel room. The pork and chicken were amazing. My husband said the ribs were too(I don’t eat ribs). I thought the brisket was a bit smokey but he enjoyed it. The sides were as good as the meat, we had potato salad and Mac n cheese. If we are ever back in town, we will stop again!

Wow! I just found this place and all I can think is… wow! I can’t wait to come back! I tried some of the rib tips and brisket. Both were great, but the brisket was especially outstanding. Their BBQ sauce is spot on as far as I’m concerned! Nice tang, some pepper heat, and a little sweet tomato. Also tried the potato salad and greens. The potato salad was great, but the greens were to die for! The juice the greens are bathing in should come in a soda can so I can drink it throughout the day! I want to try the wings and pork so I’ll definitely be back.

This place is the real deal if you want authentic BBQ, I just had the beef brisket and was cooked perfect not too much smoke and the flavor match the texture almost melted in your mouth, Mac and cheese was also very good. It is more of a take out vs sit in dinner, they do have a few tables if needed.

Great smoked meats, tasty sides. I’m partial to the ribs and brisket. I’m not a fan of long smoked chicken, it gets too soft in my opinion, but the flavor is still good. But really, catfish friday. Trust me, even if you think you don’t like catfish.

We’re from out of town and looking for something different to eat and a casual setting. We checked Unilocal and decided on this place. We had pork BBQ and fried catfish(offered Friday night) and 4 different sides. It was all delicious and reasonable prices. We noticed a lot of take out customers. There are only a few tables. The only negative for me is the dining area tables and floor could be cleaner.

Yum! Loved the macaroni and cheese, the bbq sauce and the beef brisket. I was not a fan of the buffalo chicken sandwich only because it had a spicy bite that even the bleu cheese dressing that came with it did not tame enough for me. But overall, a great experience and we will definitely stop there for take-out again soon. Anxious to try the pulled pork.

Really good smoked BBQ, but if want to eat in, bring your own knife. Most of their business is take out and you should plan to take some home because you will want it again and again. Just three tables inside for those of us on the road.

WOW just got done with a order of tips, great texture, fantastic sauce, great smoke came with 2 large sides. The potato salad was like homemade and the cold slaw was sweet with a good marinade taste. The best part was they just closed when I got there but were happy to let me in to place my order. Also the order came with a very moist cornbread. The only draw back the tips could have have been a little meatier and that’s why only 4 stars. A very good BBQ! By the way did I mention that I’m from Chicago. Keep up the good job Hogzilla

Real smoked meats! Great Mac n cheese! Get the meat dry with BBQ sauce on the side. Add a little sauce after you have enjoyed the meat first.

This BBQ is the real deal. Hogzilla offers a classic array of slow cooked BBQ cuisine. The menu included entrees of meat with two sides as well as sandwich options with one side. Meat choices ranged from pulled pork to savory sliced brisket. I went with the beef brisket sandwich and a side of BBQ baked beans. Sides included french fries, coleslaw, and mac n cheese among others. This spot is geared more towards carry out, but there are a few tables inside so I dined in. The brisket was served on a large hamburger bun. It was very well prepared and simply melts in your mouth. The BBQ sauce was not overpowering, allowing the true flavor of the hickory smoked beef to come through. The beans were tasty as well, nothing too special there, but definitely good. The sandwich, side, and can of pop came out to $ 8.99, a total steal in my opinion. I can’t wait to come back and try out the other meats. On Friday’s they offer a catfish dinner special. I know where I’ll be this Friday. The Cork Street Kalamazoo location is new and they thrive on word of mouth. With that said, these guys know really their stuff so go check them out.

I always say things in my reviews like«I would be in trouble if I lived closer to _______.» Well, now I might be in trouble. I stopped by Hogzilla last week to get some carryout on my way home from work. This food was killer and I will definitely be stopping by again and recommending this to my friends. This time I tried the beef brisket sandwich with a side of potato salad and a side of macaroni and cheese. Everything tasted so good! The beef was moist and the BBQ sauce on it was perfectly tangy. The macaroni and cheese was unique but some of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back to try some of the other meats and other sides!

I been to Hogzilla BBQ in battle creek every time I had to visit Battle Creek for work related. I always had beef brisket which is excellent every time with some BBQ bean and grannies Mac n cheese. This time in kazoo they were sold out of brisket so I decided to venture out and try rib tips well they were best I ever had good smoke flavor with original BBQ(which they give option of three sauce org. Sweet and hot BBQ) glazed on them with a side of collard green and potato salad to cool the heat of greens. Best clean BBQ place around.
