Hush puppies + greasy fish + tasty chicken = HAPPINESS
I will readily admit that I think I enjoy Long John Silver’s (or LoJo’s as we call it) more out of routine, nostalgia, familiarity, and convenience, than on actual taste. It’s good for what it is, being a fast food seafood joint. If you were to compare it to an actual seafood restaurant, then that just wouldn’t be fair. It is what it is, and I like it.
If it isn’t too busy, we’ll eat inside. Otherwise, we’ll go through the drive-​thru, park in front of the U Tan tanning salon, and watch all of the freakishly orange people walk in and out. Best show in town. I wish I could review U Tan and give them 5 stars for the awesome show that their clientele puts on, but seeing as I’ve never actually used their services, that wouldn’t be fair of me.
