Mcgonicles is one of the best spots on the east side, there’s not much else worth talking about but Ron’s place is the best, food and customer service, you should try breakfast with your kids or grandkids, thanks again Ron.

I just recently stopped in for a drink with a coworker after helping him with some errands solely based on location alone (between my place and his). Upon exiting the vehicle I really was second guessing my decision because McG didn’t look appealing from the outside but being a Yooper at heart, I had to go in.
Not bad. Not bad at all. Sort of a mix between a dive bar and an irish pub. The people inside were nice, bartenders were easy on the eyes, and beer was cold. Pretty much met all my requirements for a local hideout. Next time I will try the food but I did glance at the menu which seemed reasonably priced and had quite a bit to offer.

I have been to this pub several times. I really enjoyed the mozzarella sticks, the pretzel bites, and the fish and chips. Also, the waitstaff are very friendly and efficient. I also like the selection of European and American beers.
Don’t judge this establishment by the fact it is in a chain of different shops; the interior is way better.
Anyway, if you ever crave fish and chips or a shepherd’s pie, or any other European-​style item on the menu, give McGonigle’s on East Main a try.

The food was mediocre and greasy. I felt I needed to shower after my meal. For the prices I would have expected some of the food to be fresh. In short there was nothing Irish about this pub as far as food choices.

Probably the most amazing fried mushrooms I have ever had. Great food, great service!

They have pretty decent food here and decent drink prices but rarely drink specials it seems. I had to take a few stars off because the bartender used her fingers to pull out the olives for my Bloody Mary. Not too appetizing. This place definitely seems to have a lot of regulars.

Love the food. I had corned beef n cabbage here for the first time, awesome. The mashed potatoes not so good but the corned beef was out of this world.
