I come to Main Street occasionally and am always happy with what I order — this time was no different. In fact I was surprised to see a new item on the menu which was a bbq pork mac & cheese sandwich! It was made with 2 buttery pieces of thick sourdough bread, with a pile of bbq pulled pork and a pile of mac & cheese in between the slices. It was so delicious, and it was the perfect meal for a snowy winter day. Our party of three arrived for an early Saturday lunch, and we sat in the bar area which was not busy, despite the UM football game being televised. Service was quick for ordering and throughout the meal– up until the point that we wanted to cash out, it took a little longer than desired to flag down our server to get our check, but this was a good visit!

I think I’m done with the food here, last two times I ordered a burger it was very dry and way over cooked.

Pretty good food. Service left a lot to be desired. It seemed that there were nit enough waitresses to handle the crowd. All in all though the food is good but for a «bar» it is a little over priced.

We had a server, Brandon, that took our orders without writing them down. We all had special requirements and thought, no way he can remember all this but he did. WHAT! He gave the perfect amount of service which I know can be tough. I dislike being over serviced as much as getting no service at all. I’ve been here a few times and the food is always all right. I had their portabella sandwich this time and it was pretty good.

I have been a customer at the multiple Main St locations for quite awhile now and have to say, the Gull Road location needs a refresher in customer service. The last several times i have been to this location, service has been poor at best. On the most recent vist, approximately 8 of us in a group were seated (and quickly) however the table still needed to be wiped down– the server never returned to wipe down the table, and when we broke down & started timing, we waited in excess of 15 minute and were never even approache by a server or staff to obtain any type of order– even after asking passing staff that we would like to get drink orders in. I approached a hostess with the concern and was treated pretty rudely, atw which point, our group decided to take our patronage elsewhere. I still love the Portage & West Main locations– but i think i’m done with Gull Road.
