Brick Oven Pizza

Finally tried this place after hearing great stuff about it! We were seated right away and the staff was very friendly. The menu was interesting because I never thought a place called brick oven pizza would serve edemame but hey whatever works. Our waitress was very friendly and always paid attention to us. Our glasses were always full which is nice. We ordered wings for our appetizer but since my husband likes the spice and I don’t our waitress offered to serve them dry and brought us all the sauces which was great! The wings were delicious !!! We shared a medium smoked ham and pineapple pizza which was plenty for the both of us. I loved that they were airing supercross (dirt bike racing) because you don’t find many places that do! Overall our experience was great the reason I gave 4 stars is because it took a while for our food to finally come out but other than that everything else was great! Will definitely be back!

Wouldn’t come here again. Friendly staff, but the food was subpar at best, and definitely not worth the price. The calamari was over salted, the Caesar salad was standard and nothing special, and the pizza was lackluster. We ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken. The crust was flavorless and heavy, and the taste of the toppings was lost behind the over abundance of Italian seasoning heavily poured on top, and the barbecue sauce was average; probably bottled, not to mention the pineapple to meat ratio was favored in fruit. Next time I’m craving BBQ Chicken pizza, I’ll get the frozen CPK variety.

Somethings you need take a chance & try a place that doesn’t have the best reviews. Brick oven pizza is one of those places. The location was easy to find & the restaurant was clean & welcoming. Our server was very sweet & knowledgeable. We ordered some oyster shooters to start. They were very refreshing, not chewy & over sized. I ordered the tossed salad/​Alfredo pasta lunch special. I was happy to see the salad was fresh. The pasta was average but good. My husband had the clam chowder filled with lots of clams & the vegetable hoagie. What a terrific surprise. We will be back.

The pizza was just ok. Nothing special. They do give you lots of fresh ingredients. There was too much sauce for my taste. It also is not traditional brick oven pizza with a thin, crispy yet chewy crust. The pizza itself is more doughy and the crust around the edge too thick for my taste.

Anyone who thinks all pizzas are alike, should come here to find out that not all pizzas are the same. These folks have managed to push the envelope as far as what a pizza is. Usually I shy away from thin crust pizzas because they taste like a flavored taco chip but the chefs here understand how to make a great thin crust pizza. I highly recommend their Super version and don’t be fooled by the small size (or at least small compared to Costco pizzas) because they load up on fresh ingredients and fresh homemade tomato sauce. Five of us were only able to eat ²⁄₃ of a large Super pizza and a small chicken-​artichoke pizza (which was also very good.) The garlic butter brushed crust is the perfect touch to make this a taste sensation for your mouth! Don’t forget to save room for dessert. In addition to dessert pizzas, they offer the Aloha Ice Cream cake, a Hawaiian version of the traditional mud cake, slathered with chocolate syrup. The servers are very polite but a little slow. Several times I had to flag the hostess or another server because ours kept on disappearing for long periods of time. The location at Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center ensures parking is not a problem (assuming it’s not a holiday) and is easy to find. For those not looking for pizza, they have a good assortment of salads and sandwiches. Come by and see what all the excitement’s about!

Decided to give this place another chance. Went in and saw there was MMA fighting on 3 screens. We abruptly turned around and left. Is this a family restaurant or not? I’m confused. Kaneohe needs more family restaurants! I can understand having MMA in the bar area but restaurant too? We had a wonderful meal at Haleiwa Joes instead.

Wth? Yupville in kaneohe? Overpriced everything galore. I thought round table was ridiculous w a $ 30 pizza. Theirs is a quarter the size for $ 20! Shuda been built in lanikai where theyd fit right in. Definitely not impressed pizzas are ok, pupus are not so good, help totally sucks, prices are ridiculous.

Wanted to like this place but the pizza was rather run of the mill. I honestly think Papa John’s is better. They have a pretty nice bar and it seems like the go to place to watch sporting events. F

You almost had me, Brick Oven! The food, atmosphere, and service were all decent enough for me to return if I wasn’t going to pay $ 17+ for a small personal size pizza! If you split it with your partner or friends, it’s not too bad of a deal, but I don’t think I’ll be returning too often. There is a Boston’s pizza across the street! I’ll be happy to try some pizza there.
The flavors were better than your average Pizza Hut or Papa Johns. I ordered the super brick oven pizza with my cousin and it came with a mixture of meats and veggies. I enjoyed that the cheese was melty instead of a weird processed taste you would get from Little Caesars, and the sausage was nice and crumbly with the wheat crust.
It’s just the price! I was hoping for a bigger version of a small (it did say 8 slices) but I guess not.
Not great, not terrible! Come try it for yourselves :)

Good, relaxed vibe. Awesome location to watch all the Sunday games with affordable happy hour drink and pupu specials starting from mid-​morning games! Wear your jersey! I recommend the clams, edamame, and bruschetta.

Besides freezing (bring a coat) inside, I really enjoyed eating here.
My boyfriend and I ordered their hot wings and a medium pepperoni pizza. Both were served piping hot. The wings had good flavor and lots of meat on the bone. They were tender and easy to eat.
The medium pizza was big enough for my boyfriend and I to fill ourselves and bring two pieces home. The pizza had a good amount a cheese and the sauce wasn’t too strong. It was really yummy.
Also, if you’re a ranch person, they have the best I have found so far on the island. AMAZING!
To top it off the service there was great. We were sat quickly and our waitor was kind and attentive.

The TV situation is good for watching football, the Bloody Marys are tasty for those early morning games, they open early on game day, the food is pretty good and the service is great. Go Hawks!

Leaving here happy and stuffed! I don’t know why it took me so long to try this place. When we walked in we were quickly greeted and seated. Our waitress was super awesome and funny. She had the aloha spirit that Kaneohe still possesses. She came back to check on us, filled out waters and brought our check textbook style, perfection. I wish I got her name.
We ordered the chicken Bbq pizza, clam chowder, hot wings, Caesar salad, and cheese bread. Haha for just the two of us. Everything was really favor some!
Will be back with friends.

Me and the bestie were interested in hitting up the Pizza Buffet but opted to just order off the menu. Went around 8pm on a Monday night and it was still a little busy considering they close at 9. Took a bit of a wait for someone to notice us by the door, but the server we had was pretty fast at grabbing our drinks and taking our food order. We ordered the Teri wings, Chicken Ceaser, and Small Ulti-​meat pizza. Everything was good but somehow I enjoyed the salad and wings more than the pizza. Its like it wasn’t cooked long enough but it was super soggy and. wet? im sure from the veggies. had to eat it with a fork –_​-​. Definitely not anywhere as good as the Kauai location but satisfied that we finally got to try.

Delicious pizza as always! We get a chicken jalapeño bacon with homemade marinara and garlic butter brushed on the crust and it always is perfect!
Perfect amount of toppings and the crust is never soggy! Also, if you love steamer clams they have it as a appetizer and the sauce that they make is one of my favorites!
The only reason why I didn’t give five stars is because the service does take a while. But the pizza is worth the wait :)
Lots of wine and beer options a too!

We ordered a couple pizzas to go. It was nothing special especially for the price. It just wasnt memorable enough for me thus this very short review. I did post a couple pics though. Looks better than it tasted unfortunately.

This place is really expensive for what you get. We tried a couple of their most popular pizzas and it was pretty bad. Maybe we just don’t have as refined palettes as other people out there? Anyway, for as fancy as the pizza appears I’m surprised that it doesn’t taste very good. And, usually leftover pizza from the night before is the best, but not this pizza.
The dough was a little undercooked, the flavor is yucky ducky and the service was crappy dappy.
I do not recommend, and will not be going back. Big waste of a lot of money :(

I came here mid-​day on a Saturday and it surprisingly wasn’t very busy at all. The location is great, with plenty of parking.
Good pizza! It was very hearty! I love the buttery crust! And they made it pretty fast too. Big dining room area. Nice location. Only reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered calamari and they didn’t have any :(the waitress said they haven’t had any for a while! And then I tried to order a different appetizer and they didn’t have anymore eurger.

I was a little reluctant to try this place out because of the mixed reviews. On Monday’s and Thursdays from 5 – 9, they have a buffet for $ 16 or $ 17. I thought it was a little overpriced for a pizza buffet.
We came on a Monday night around 7. The restaurant was fairly busy, but we were seated right away. There were still a handful of tables open. We had to wait about a minute or two before being greeted because the hostess was in the back. After being seated, our server came with water. He suggested their most popular pizzas, but we went with half margherita and half of their «super» pizza with white crust and garlic butter. We also ordered buffalo wings (they were okay), calamari, and fries. The appetizer portions were very generous. More than enough for 2 people to share.

I really don’t understand all the negative reviews. We came here the other night to try out their dinner buffet and had a great experience.
The service was great. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was pleasant, attentive and informative.
The buffet provided a lot of variety (great for feeding a family of diverse tastes) — salad, pastas, chicken wings, soup, pizzas. And our 3 year olds ate for free!
Atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed.
