I’m a wimp when it comes to getting my eyes checked — for me, it’s the worst feeling to be nearly blind (without my lenses in) and be at the mercy of an eye doctor. SO NOT THE CASE HERE! From the moment I checked in, dr and her staff made the experience so reassuring and comfortable, it was more like hanging out while trying to read an eye chart! The office may be small, but the professionalism is huge!
I loved that I made a same day appointment, was able to discuss the type of lenses I wanted to try, and that making the second re-​eval appointment was super easy and flexible! The dr was very upfront with the types of lenses that would work for my astigmatism, and gave me two brands of dailies to try for a week. Additionally, she was totally frank about the cost, so there wasn’t a «sticker shock» moment.

I echo the other reviewer — just love Dr. Iida and her staff. Very personable, knowledgeable, and is never put off by having to answer the phone and deal with the questions I might have. They’ve also helped me quite a bit when I’ve forgotten to re-​order my contacts and was down to the last few pairs… always thinking of a quick solution. I would normally order my lenses through the internet and not really care too much about the actual visit. But I choose to keep going through Dr. Iida and her team because they are very helpful people.

Dr. Kathy Iida and her staff are amazing!
My husband and I used to see her when we lived in Hawaii. She’s patient, friendly, and a wonderful optometrist! She’s very knowledgeable about glasses vs. contacts, is a people person, and never seems to have a bad day.
I would definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a good, caring optometrist!!! Would give her 100 stars if I could!
