I have been going to Pash for years and have never once walked out without feeling extremely satisfied with my hair and service! She is amaze-​balls and a guru with hair! «Hunnay, any color you lyy she do fo yuu!!» I honestly would not trust my hair with anyone else! She’s my go to and super accommodating! If I need to wait a bit because she’s booked, no question about it, I’m waiting! No one else can touch this hair. No thank you.
Before writing this review, I also read a nasty comment about her below, which totally baffled me! First, I don’t know if any of that is true, because from my experience, I have received the total opposite and I personally have MANY friends that go to Pash as well and never leave dissatisfied! I also send about everyone and anyone I know to her to get their hair done! I wouldn’t send anyone I know, or even I don’t know to anyone else! Regarding that comment, I think sometimes we all forget that we are all JUST human and no one is superman or superwoman, things come up and things happen sometimes. There’s not a calendar out there for when disasters or tragedies will happen or a calendar of when we are going to get sick or when we won’t be feeling well, only God knows that.

This particular review is for Pash. Pash has been my hairstylist for years! I’ve gone to her since she was still a student at Paul Mitchell and I have never been disappointed. It saddens me to read a review below that is completely far fetched from who Pash is as an associate, hairdresser, and person. Some of those things seem very unlike her and I know her extremely well and have never had a bad experience. Doing hair is difficult and there are things that come up and happen that are out of your control. You can’t expect people to bend over backwards for you just because you’re paying them to do your hair. Pash does amazing work is a Godly woman and works hard for her clients. They matter to her. Don’t let one bad review make up your mind about her.

This review is for Pash only. I really didn’t want to write a bad review but after what happened to me, I felt that I owe it to her future clients to let them know what they could be getting themselves into. I booked an appointment back in December for January. Mind you this is my 3^rd appointment with her which all have been canceled previously by her. I thought it was my 2^nd canceled appt but my husband reminded me she actually canceled 3 times. Any hoo, she text me the night before my appointment at almost 10pm and asked me to move my appointment from 10am to 2pm. I let her know that that probably wouldn’t work for me since I was dropping my car off at Honda Windward and would be catching the shuttle to her shop after. Which she responds with and I quote «Oh alright, I might have to cancel your appt tomorrow depending how I’m feeling. I’ve been out the whole week. I’ve been feeling better definitely not contagious but just been waking up weak in the morning. I’ll see how I’m feeling tomorrow and let you know». I kindly let her know it would be easier for me if she knew if she could take me, otherwise I would be stranded on that side with no where to go while me car was getting fixed. She then tells me «that’s understandable, we should cancel it then». I’m sorry but this is my 3^rd appt with her, really! I did tell her after «this is my 2^nd appt (it wasn’t till later my husband reminded me it was my 3^rd) you canceled with me». She responds with «I’ve been really sick with strep throat. I can’t do anything about that. Please feel free to find another hair dresser that can accommodate you. I wish you were more understanding. There isn’t anything I can do for you. Have a great weekend». First of all «you’ll let me know the morning of», who runs a business like that? Like I have all day to just sit by my phone and wait for you to call. Lol But the kicker is, coincidentally I had a friend of friend go in to see Pash a few days later. I told my friend what happened to me the next day because I was kind of upset about the whole situation. Her friend goes in, Pash looks at her and says nothing. She sits and waits for 30 minutes with no one telling her «we’ll be right with you or were running late». Nothing! She calls our mutual friend and ask her what she should do, if she should wait. My friend then tells her what happen to me. Her friend then tells her the whole time she was waiting, Pash was talking about ME! To the whole salon, clients and all! I have never met such an unprofessional Hair Dresser in my life. I’m sorry you feel you are so high and mighty that clients will just wait around for you to take them at your leisure. But not this girl! There are so many other great stylists I can go to that won’t treat me like that. Good luck on your career, with a big head like yours, your going to need it.
P. S. Please do not tell me I am not an understanding person. When you canceled the first 2 times, I did not ask any questions. When it becomes a pattern, you may want to question yourself and priorities. Thank you

So happy I got to finally visit this salon! Been coloring my hair at different salons on and off island since I was 13. I admit to loving only a handful of them, the rest were more scheduling convenience. I made a hair apt with Pash after seeing her work all over IG and word of mouth from some friends. Above satisfied with the color she was able to achieve in one session. I had a picture of what I wanted but I also realized I may have needed to make numerous visits seeing that I came in with a grown out, faded red, fro. I left with Ashy brown with some grey highlights. I love it! instant compliments after I stepped out. Everyone at the salon was extremely pleasant and the décor was super cute and trendy. It also helps that it’s a lot closer to home than having to drive in to town. I love that they had movies playing too, im not really one to talk a lot, I rather just sit there and zone out since im normally in chair for 2 – 4 hours. It’s best to book in advance since her schedule fills up fast, and from what I noticed they have a lot of repeat and new clients :).

I never write reviews for good or bad services, however I need to do so regarding the customer service and dye job. I went in for a balayage ombré yesterday, in which I have been getting done the last 2 ½ years with my normal stylist in Maui but could not make it there this holiday season to do so. I decided to give Marnee a chance based off a friend’s recommendation and completely regret it. Although Marnee is sweet and nice and obviously did great coloring on other girls, my hair is COMPLETELY messed up. I showed her that my hair can go to an extremely light blonde in one session based off the color that was already in my hair and even showed a picture to her. I left with my entire hair dyed orange. I was already having a horrible morning which is why I decided to not say anything to her upon leaving the salon and wait to see how the color turned out the next morning. When I woke up this morning my hair was ORANGE and even had strands of blue and gray in it. I was HORRIFIED. I went from being known for having the nicest blonde balayage to having a tacky orange dye job that looks like it was box dye. I spent $ 200 to turn my hair this color and I understand everyone’s experience will be different, however, it is the customer service I am most disappointed with. I kindly asked Marnee for a refund for the services, not the tip, just the $ 195 it cost to do a balayage, and was told that she could not refund me but all she could do was tone it. She had toned it twice yesterday, and after speaking with my usual hair stylist, was informed that something had gone wrong because toner should not be used twice. Now I need to spend another $ 200+ to even attempt to reverse the damage done yesterday and try to restore my hair to how it was before. I am ashamed to have to submit this review but not being given a refund when I am clearly dissatisfied with the services I received is OUTRAGEOUS. I could have bought a box dye at Long’s for $ 10 and done the same damage that I am left with today.

This review is for Marnee:) she is the SWEETEST person. She loves what she does and she does it more than well. I always leave feeling like a million dollars. If your lucky, peanut girl (her dachshund) will sit on your lap and keep you cozy while Marnee works her magic on you! (Sometimes she brings peanut, other days she doesn’t, it just depends) My mom and I LOVE her. Book in advance because she gets booked quick! I’ve had my hair cut by her, she did lash extensions on me, she did a permanently straight treatment on me, and she did my updo, my moms updo, and all my bridesmaids updos for my wedding! I trust her with my life. I will forever go to her. Even if it means driving from nanakuli (where I currently live) to kaneohe. Her prices are soooo fair and affordable. Marnee goes out of her way to make time for you. She even rearranged her schedule a little for me. She loves and cares for her clients who have become great friends. Thank you Marnee for everything. I am never disappointed. if your thinking about seeing Marnee DO IT. I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET A SINGLE THING!!!

I have been going to her for 3 years now and have recommended her to many family and friends who are so glad they went to Pash. But call ahead. Appointments are pretty booked. She’s that good!!!

This review is 2 weeks past due. I got my hair done by Malia at Sniptease and I couldn’t be happier of how it looks! I wanted to get my hair done a ‘cotton candy’ pink color and I don’t know hair very well, but I do know that it can be a challenge going from brown to a light color. I went in and she bleached my hair and did a deep conditioning treatment and I guess my hair lifted well so my next appointment she is gonna finish up and it’s gonna be the color I want! I’m so satisfied with the blonde color that it is now that I almost want to keep it this color lol the reason why it wasn’t all done in one setting is because she really cared not just on doing my hair and getting it over with, but how my hair was and the condition it is. That means more to me than someone trying to rush something just to get paid. Maila was very friendly and talked to me throughout the whole session. I can’t wait to go back. And I already have recommended my friends to go to her for their hair!

Malia is amazing! She completely saved my hair, due to my self bleaching. She spent the time needed for my color correction (and there was A LOT to correct). She also used olaplex and did a chemshot treatment on my hair and left it feeling AMAZING! She kept the integrity of my hair and I will definitely be back for another chemshot! :)

Chrissy is Simply Amazing!!! Talent, Vibrant and extremely CLASSY!!! Salon is well kept and clean, I felt super relaxed.

Really bummed, I was so excited to try this place but when I tried to make contact I never got a response. I sent text messages and got no replies. I tried calling and left a message and again no response.

I got my hair done by Brittney today, and the whole experience was amazing! Brittney was so funny and personable, she ran right on time, and the appointment itself didn’t take too long at all! They also had an adorable little dachshund walking around the salon in a little dress! So adorable, I needed a puppy fix since mine is in Seattle!
I came in with blonde hair that has developed a bit of a greenish tint from chlorine, showed her a picture of what I wanted my hair to look somewhat like, but not as dark, not as red, etc. She read my mind! I’m so in love with my hair, it’s crazy. She even texturized my hair for me (I have a lot of thick hair, it looked a fright ;))
The price was amazing as well!
It was a little hard to find the salon, but that’s because I was on the wrong side of the street-​whoopsies!

This review for Snip Tease is regarding my stylist Brit. I have been with Brit for a number of years, so I was very happy to see her in a brand new salon that she opened. Brit is one of those stylists that you can go to & just let her work her magic. Throughout the years, Brit seemed to just know what to do with my hair. She has never disappointed! I often get people coming up to me and complimenting me on my hair. Brit takes the time to ask what you want and explain to you if it is possible or not. She takes into account the condition of your hair & lets you know what is needed for upkeep on your style (for people like me that get ‘fun’ colors). She is the best at what she does. So if you want the best, go see Brit at Snip Tease.

Brittany does excellent work and is so much fun to be with. The new salon is pleasant and immaculate, bright and airy. She does great color and cut. Prices are reasonable too. Highly recommend!
