After doing tons of research and reading all reviews I decided to go to Bridal Solutions to have my dress altered. From what I could see they were respected in the area and were reasonable on price, etc. This was a HUGE mistake. I felt very confident after my first fitting. After that fitting though everything fell apart. I was told to come back in 2 weeks for a second fitting. I made the appointment on the spot. I show up for my 2nd fitting with my bridesmaids as instructed, and they had misplaced my $ 1200 dress. It took almost 45 minutes and me having to sort through all of the dresses to locate mine. They were then supposed to steam and store my dress for me. I called the day before I was to pick up my dress to confirm all of this with them. I showed up and they did not have my dress ready. I had to wait for a half an hour for them to steam and package my dress so I could finally take it home. Kim told me several times that she was sorry and«this never happens.» She claims to have 30 years of experience but from what I saw this was the most unprofessional, unorganized, chaotic mess of a bridal shop. After spending over $ 500 in alterations I would have expected a much better experience. I would NOT recommend this shop for any reason.

I had the best experience each and every time I visited the bridal store. The owner(Jeanne), her mother Kim(alternations), and the sales associates, especially, Catherine are wonderful. They made my bridal party and my shopping experience so easy. I think my fiancé and his groomsmen will get their tuxedos from there too.

Our experience started off well, and quickly spiraled down, and right off the cliff. We had a wedding dress that on sale was over $ 2000, and wanted a good tailor before our out of state wedding. We finally found this place and despite some of the reviews, and it being a 2.5 hour drive away, we decided to stop in. Our tailor was very friendly and professional, so we decided to go with them. After the first fitting, we felt it was a good choice. We had a scheduled second fitting and brought a ball gown in as well to be altered. There were many corrections to the fitting that had to be made, but we thought nothing of it as this is our first wedding dress experience. Before leaving we scheduled what the tailor said would be the 3rd and final fitting, just a couple weeks before we flew out of state. We were uncomfortable with the situation due to the numerous corrections made, and the poor fit so far, so we scheduled a fitting at an out of state location near the wedding venue, just days before the wedding, in case we needed final touch-ups. Upon returning for the 3rd fitting, we found the dress didn’t seem to fit properly. These were not minor issues. It was very uncomfortable, and it was too loose in areas, and didn’t hang properly in others, an the proportions were wrong around the chest. The tailor was going over them, and asked if we could stop back again in a few weeks. No, we were flying out in less than 2 weeks, we live 2.5 hours away, and both work full time. This information was given the tailor on the 1st and 2nd visits, as well as when we originally called in to schedule. So the tailor ended up trying to make last minute adjustments. While we waited. After leaving, we were unhappy with the fit. Not knowing what exactly a wedding gown should fit like, we figured maybe its not that bad. When getting to our out of state tailor, they were amazed at how awful the dress had been altered. My wife went back 3 days in a row for the same string of fittings the other tailor had done however, these were all done perfectly. The dress fit flawlessly, it was comfortable, and it looked amazing. Complete opposite of what the other tailor had done over the course of several months. To top it off, the Bridal Solutions tailor charged considerably more for the terrible work than the last minute tailor charged, who had to redo the entire dress. Additionally, the ball gown we also brought in? When my wife wore it to an event, she had to hold it everywhere she walked so she wouldn’t step on it even though she was wearing the same shoes she had on when it was fitted. The only alteration needed was the hem and not even that was done properly. If you made it to the end of this review, then I am confident you have been dissuaded. If you just skipped to the end, heed all the one star reviews and keep looking.

ZEROCUSTOMERSERVICESKILLSANDINADEQUATEINNEARLYEVERYWAY. SOURCEOFALLMYWEDDINGSTRESS, ESPECIALLYTHEALTERATIONSDEPARTMENT. DON’T BEFOOLEDBYTHEIRPRICES. It is worth paying more to go elsewhere and you’ll end up paying less(in money and stress) in the end. I had a great experience with BS until the moment I paid for my gown. From then on, any customer service I had received ended and the headaches began. They are clearly in the business only for the money, and have horrendous customer service skills. I had issues with the quality of my bridesmaids gowns and tuxedos and received no sympathy or compensation. Their system for ordering tuxes and BM dresses is completely inadequate and they constantly kept having incorrect records. ALTERATIONSWAS A NIGHTMARE. Kim was completely cranky at each of my appointments and whenever I gave suggestions on how to improve the gown she gave some excuse for why it was my fault that it didn’t fit, when she had clearly made the mistake(took in too much, top too loose, etc.). She was completely unapologetic for her mistakes, and she accused me of losing/gaining weight as the reason the dress didn’t fit(BTW I’m a size 0⁄2 and surely didn’t change size within this time) or that my request that the strapless dress be tight was the cause of it being too small. In the end, I had to accept that it was good enough and end my frustrations. Alterations is also very over-priced. THEYPROMISEDMECOMPENSATIONTHENBACKEDOUT. After my wedding when I addressed my issues(alterations, quality, attitude) with Jeanie, she promised to have my dress fixed, cleaned, and preserved(and my husband was witness to this promise). When I took my dress in there to have this done, they took back their promise and would not preserve it. THEIRWORDISWORTHNOTHING. I truly am not a difficult to please person or one to usually slander a business, but in this case, I hope to save others from the stress and anxiety that Bridal Solutions caused me. To summarize, tell all your friends to not use this place no matter how good the original price on the gown may be. Especially I don’t recommend the alterations department. They have zero customer service skills and will give excuses for every mistake they make instead of just apologizing and fixing it.

I went in to look at jewelry and the staff was so very helpful. I wanted a faux fur shawl and they brought out several for me to choose from. I will be back and I will recommend to my friends.

I am not one to really write negative reviews but if I can spare anyone from the agony I have endured then that is what I will do; especially for such an IMPORTANT day. The boutique is very nice and the sale associates are wonderful. But that is exactly what they are; sales associates. Every time I tried on a dress and a sales associate walked by she would say«you look gorgeous in that dress»… I could have been wearing a wolf suit and they would have said something. As soon as I expressed interest in a dress, I had 4 different women walk by and say a flattering comment. Of course after you have so many people say good things you start to think it is the dress for you. I ended up buying a dress that I really don’t like and I realized it the minute I walked out of the store. All of the sugar coating wore off… During the purchase of my over $ 1200 dress, the return policy was not stated to me once. You would think, since 1 out of every 3 brides are unhappy with their 1st dress purchase, they would avoid any type of dissatisfaction from a customer. Not ONCE was this stated. When I returned home, unhappy, I looked at the receipt to see if I could exchange it. I mean, I still spent that money and would just be happy if I could exchange it for a dress I liked. NOPE. In the tiniest print at the VERY bottom of the page it states(AFTERYOUHAVEALREADYPURCHASEDTHEDRESS) that there are no returns or exchanges. When I called to talk about my options and explain that this dress was not for me, the lady laughed at me like it was outrageous to suggest such a thing. Then said«well you will just have to buy ANOTHER dress». AREYOUKIDDINGME!?! I just spent over $ 1200 and it has not even left the bagging they put it in. I am so disappointed in this business and their behavior. I never thought I would cry every night because I can’t afford to buy another dress and there is nothing I can do about the dress I already have. UPDATE: After getting my dress altered here, WHICHWAS A NIGHTMARE, the owner came into my dressing room as I was half undressed and said she saw my negative review. She asked me if I could change it because she«can’t please everyone and one bad review can be devastating» to a company. How incredibly unprofessional. If you go here after reading all of this I will just say good luck and I hope you have a way better experience than I did. Every Bride should have the luxury of the perfect wedding dress shopping experience… some are just not afforded so much.
