I’m in Atlanta. My elderly, disabled cousin in KC, had a computer melt down, and ultimately a replacement. I was able to make that happen, smoothly and economically, all over the phone with the great guys at computer pros. They took it over to his apartment, showed him how to use it, and did a couple of follow up calls to be sure things were running OK. Great people there!

As a person who crashes her computer at least twice a year, I’ve been everywhere. I killed my dinosaur PC that had all of my pictures and itunes on it.
Clearly, I know almost nothing about computers except websites and word so I expect those who fix my stuff to help me out a little. Explain things, don’t take advantage of the dumb girl, etc.
They told me some story about the damage as well as copying ALL my music for themselves (you know how itunes loves that,) and I’m sure that was totally necessary. All the while, erasing all of my digital mixes including our wedding one.
They also were nice enough to charge me $ 350 dollars for virus removal and restoring my info. Since then, I’ve found someone who will help me for around $ 150 without the copying and erasing.
