Great experience! I even asked one of the line workers for a recommendation between two options I was considering(French Toast bagel sandwich or the bagel with peanut butter, bananas, honey). She suggested the French Toast, which was wonderful. Hot, with fluffy eggs, and just enough sweetness to complete the taste. My wife had a panini with spinach, which was also excellent. Their fruit cup was very fresh as well. The staff was upbeat and very nice. It wasn’t very crowded(on a Sunday morning), so we got fast, good service. Well done!

Staff is nice here but they are so slow and not staffed properly. I’m sitting at :15 minutes now waiting for a bagel and a coffee. All of their coffee was out so they are brewing it. This quick stop location is proving to be a :20-:25 minute stop. Will not go back until the staffing issue is fixed.

I like Onion Bagels, they don’t have them at this location so I always order the everything bagel. Once again, I feel shorted on the cream cheese. One of these days we are going to get a real bagel shop in Kansas City again. This one has always been just so so.

I have been to numerous Einstein Bros Bagels. I normally am a plain bagel person toasted with butter or with cream cheese. Simple and yummy. So, I am a fan of their bagels. When I came to this particular location I ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It was just alright. I would not order it again. It was way too creamy or as if it had way too much mayo and not much chicken. I’ve ordered their breakfast sandwiches before(at other locations) and they are good. The customer service here was just alright, nothing great. The location of this Einstein’s is inside the mall and located across the street from Legoland and the Aquarium. Convenient location in downtown KC.

Came here with 45 minutes until closing time and staff had almost everything shut down, cleaned up or turned off. They seemed annoyed that I would have thought about food in that situation but said it was OK to order. I ordered a 6 pack of bagels with cream cheese selected from the very few they had left. I got home and was a bagel short and the cream cheese I selected was left out of the bag. VERY disappointed especially for how pricey this was and how long it took to have them mess up the order. I probably will not return nor recommend this store to anyone.

Really big portions, quality ingredients, and nice staff. The cashier had a sense of humor, the food preparer got it right, and it was good! Kudos

I’m only giving 3 stars since I’ve only had it once but I’m sure I’ll be updating soon after my second visit. I ordered a hazelnut latte. coffee has a great taste & it was sweetened perfectly. Just wish the hazelnut had been more present in the latte.

Here I am for the Kansas City Irish fest and I go into Einstein bros for a morning bagel and am very disappointed. Slow service and bad attitudes. I finally get to pay and the girl at the register is almost pouting, stops and yells to her coworkers’-it’s stopped raining why are they still here, go outside.’ I point out that its the Irish fest and they are just going to have to enjoy the music for the day and she says ‘no, they can go outside.’ She doesn’t care there are five other stages with performances going on, she says it’s the noise, since its so loud they can’t hear the customers. I finally get my bagels and learned if I want toasted bagels that taste toasted I should have had them run thru the toaster twice. Interestingly, I go in for a soda refill and they have music blasting horribly loud in there — I guess it wasn’t the noise, rude.

Visiting KC from out of state. Three people working there at lunch on a Saturday. The cash register worker was rude and had no personality whatsoever. She did not know the menu and had a poor attitude. The only saving grace was that the food was tasty.

This is about as generic as it gets, there’s nothing exciting about place. If you’ve never had a bagel before you may not be too disappointed. If you’re a bagel pro don’t bother going because you’ll only leave dissatisfied.

Do not get the granola/yogurt cup!!! The yogurt was thin and the blueberries were completely inedible, a consistency like wet paper. The bagel also seemed a day or two old. One of the employees was nice and energetic, though, so she brings the second star.

Grabbed a bagel here two of my mornings in KC. Both times I got a toasted, buttered cinnamon and sugar bagel — and it was great both times!

Kinda comical I, a KC guy, an the first to review an establish chain in Lawrence. Silly, huh? :) I rode out to Lawrence yesterday on a bicycle in a group from Shawnee Mission Park on a beautiful day for 70 miles of pedaling. This was our turnaround lunch stop. I have had plenty of Eistein before, and usually go with egg based bagel-sandies. I tried the newer thins… a BLT Avocado. While the chipotle mayo was fine and other ingredients good, the«thin» bagel was just terrible. Get the full deal, folks. Or you will end up with this flimsy bread that flails and falls apart with any handling. The place was packed and they were moving people through quite nicely, so kudos for that.

These bagels are by far some of the best bagels ive ever had! The everything bagel is mmmhmmm good! Breakfast sandwiches are so damn good. Brownies are good. You really cant go wrong here. I was so excited to see that after leaving atlanta to find out KC had einsteins. Their bagels are soft and warm and delicious! You must make a pit stop here… You just dont know what you are missing!

I’m seriously addicted to the asiago bagle with jalapeño salsa cream cheese! AMAZING! I just wish I could buy that particular cream cheese by the tub so I could have it at home as well. The staff here is very friendly and have always been great at helping me choose something when I want to try something new. The new bagel thin sandwiches are great, especially the turkey bacon avacado.

Had a really yummy asiago bagel with a low fat cream cheese. It was ssuper yummy. Service was kinda slow though, considering there were only two of us standing there. Great place to stop at for a bagel craving though…

Ever wanted to wait in a line of 7 other people that takes 20 minutes to get a friggin bagel? Einstein Bros at Crown Center is your place. Between Sheridan’s and Einstein– it’s like you just walked into the vortex for extremely slow service and mediocre food. Einstein is painful to deal with at this location. And what’s the payoff? A bagel and oj? Can’t Crown Center lease a Quick Trip or something where the customer mostly helps him/herself? There is nothing complex about this, but Einstein makes it difficult work. Never been to the Panera across the street, but I’d jump at the opportunity when faced with this Einstein. Or better yet I’d flea the carnage of this location and get a decent breakfast at a local institution elsewhere downtown. This location doesn’t deserve my $.

Holy crap i love this place. I can’t remember the exact name of the bagel I had for breakfast… There was some kind of cream, salmon and sliced onions? yummm ITWASAMAZINGLY good. The lady with the black hat is super sweet. She will def. hook you up! Get in early, I was there around 8 and it was packed. The wait was well worth it. P
