We attended the New Year’s Eve party here. Fantastic deal for a table for 4. Open bar with great service, catered food all night that would have been appropriate in a high end Resturant and fantastic music. Coming back next year!

Absolutely the most fun! Went on a Tuesday and had a blast. This singers are always lively and singing modern tunes! I wish we could have been in town on a weekend to see it packed. One of those coolest parts is that most of the performers can play the piano, sing, play guitar and the drums. Very talented! Would absolutely recommend checking this place out

Date night with the hubby, and stumbled upon this place this past Friday night! Yay– No cover charge!(Not sure if it’s a change due to the previous reviews) If you like live music in all sorts, and it’s enough to get you up and dancing, then this would be the place to be. Mixed ages, and fun atmosphere.

Horrible service. We were there on a Tuesday night and it was not busy at all but the service was very slow. Drinks were just ok, typical bucket drinks that are very expensive but don’t have much alcohol. Don’t bother coming to this location.

Wow… Have been to Howl at the Moons all over the U.S. but never one like this. Instead of playing fun, crowd requested classic/modern rock songs on the piano it was pretty much all club/rap songs with the performers singing and not really playing pianos at all. While it was somewhat entertaining for a bit it was overall very disappointing.

Came in on a Saturday night and had rail seats reserved. These were near the bar, but had an advantage over floor tables because you can see over people. Stayed in the bar from 8 – 11 and order two buckets of their mixed drink. Neither my wife or I ever felt any effects of the booze during that time and we really couldn’t taste it in the drink. Decided to leave at 11 when the bar became overcrowded with drunks causing issues. Overall the staff was great and the entertainers did a great job interacting with the crowd.

Cool vibe. Fun place to hang out. Need to go back and order some food. Thank you for your patience. :) The dueling pianos got a little old. Unlike other reviews I’ve seen here, it was okay at first, but over time it grew kind of annoying. They covered a bunch of songs, at least half of which weren’t all that tight– just sloppy karaōke-ish. Eh…

It was too late when I went there. The band was almost over.

Eh, it was fine. Drinks were overpriced(a vodka drink, a Long Island, and 2 bottles of Bud cost over $ 32 after tax+tip), and the musicians(two guys and a gal) were off-pitch on just about every song they sang. In addition, one of the guys was kind of creepy and seemed to be hitting on one of the girls in my group the whole night from his piano. I had an okay time despite all the negatives, but I wouldn’t go back here unless my friends insisted.

Being a chain, as everything in the Power and Light district is, I have been to many Howl at the Moons. This was the worst one. So loud you couldn’t hear the singer. Very electronic sounding music and a bunch of weird jokers dancing like idiots. Save your money as their are many better Howl at the Moons.

Customer service contacted me, oddly enough after a full year, and has made efforts to rectify the lasts visit. Hopefully when I return I will have a much better experience.

Was attending a organized event where the entire facility was reserved for the event. The food was a BBQ buffet with pulled pork sandwiches, beans, coleslaw, green salad and molten brownies. The beans were excellent and I typically don’t like beans. The molten brownies were also very yummy. The other food was typical buffet food. The service was on point and the bar hops were very punctual for such a big group. The entertainment is the key to this place’s charm. The dueling pianos theme was creative and supplemented with drums, guitars, keyboards, and garbage can percussion. The audience pays for requests for music as well as wall signage that goaded further audience participation. The five musicians could each play all of the different instruments as well as sing. It was a great time to listen and dance if you wanted.

This is a great dueling piano bar. The guys that play in the band are great performers and have a wide selection. Right now they only have one female performer. She is great at her type of music, but get her out of her comfort zone and she is timid and you cannot hear her. The bartender is excellent as Iggy Azalea too, but hardly gets up there. They have some great mixed drinks and a small beer selection. You can get food from Johnny’s downstairs, but they do not have their own food. Here are some general recommedations: Get here early for a good seat. Don’t expect to be able sit together as a group as they are really a stickler for not moving the tables &4 per table. The chairs are not comfortable: boo. Over all a great time for a Friday or Saturday night!

Bar with bartender. Waited 5 minutes to be told bar is not open. I don’t work here. How about a sign? Disgustingly anti-customer. They do not want your business. Terrible customer service.

I liked sitting in here and listening to the band playing. OLDer crowd when we got in. Did not have drinks and did not have food. But its a open venue with lots of seating. Small floor to shake it in front of the band… And them old ladies were shaking it! haha I liked the bar itself. Want to go back with some chill people some night soon.

Fun bar full of middle-aged people having a good time. Ordered a b-52 at the bar and bartender looked at me as if I was from outer space. After consulting her bartender friend and the Internet, she concluded that they didn’t have the ingredients for that. Music was fairly entertaining and there was a generally happy vibe. Though fun, not, not really my scene. Would be a good place for baby boomers on the prowl.

Pretty fun for a ladies night out. Cover charges($ 10!) starts at 7pm, so either get there early before the band starts at 8pm or get a buy 1, get 1 coupon from the visit kc website. It’s pretty good time with live music you can request from the musicians, who are all talented and you always have fun watching the crowd dance on stage. There is typically a really intoxicated guy in a cowboy hat or a gal in way too high heel just having a ball dancing to YMCA or competing for a free drink in a dance-off. The drinks are pricey, but when you consider you are a getting a live musical act, it’s not too bad. The huge bucket drinks(~$ 30) can be dangerous though because they are delicious, go down easily and when shared among a group of friends, really add to the fun environment. There is always at least one birthday or bachelorette party taking place as well. It’s fun for a change in the ladies’ night routine. It does get really crowded fairly early in the evening so if you want a table, plan on getting there by 10.

one of my fondest memories of living in Las Vegas was going to the piano bar in NYNY. I always had fun there, even if it kind of was(and is probably even more so now) a tourist trap. and I’m also a bit of a music snob and still loved it! last Friday, my husband and I had dinner in the Power & Light. it was our first time really exploring the area. the band playing in the courtyard area wasn’t very good, so I suggested heading up to Howl at the Moon. it helped that I remembered the free cover(which is $ 8) coupon I had in the car. we found a great spot to sit and our server was patient if not helpful(I wanted to try the pink lemonade vodka, but not in the specialty drink — this was confusing to her). the musicians here were talented but the music they were playing was just horrible. it all just seemed super cheesy(country, pop) and not fun. I actually felt bad for the musicians. at one point though, someone requested a song to honor the military and the piano player had everyone who served come up on the stage. that was very moving and earned the place an extra star. it was entertaining to people watch there, but not enough to ever persuade me to return.

I came here for the happy hour party because my fellow Unilocaler, Lilian O., was celebrating her birthday; in addition, she won the happy hour party for 100 people. We came at like 5:15pm or something and it was empty. I wasn’t surprised since it just opened at 5pm. lol We had two tickets each and that allowed us to buy drinks for $ 1; however, it was limited to domestic beers, select wines, long islands, captain morgan, and margaritas. After those two drinks, then the price went up to the regular price. Our waitress was really nice and regularly asked us if we needed anything. There was also an appetizer buffet which contained hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, tacos, nachos, and cookies. The food was okay but it was good enough for me. We stayed there for a few hours listening to the band on stage take song requests(with tip). They didn’t play our song request which was Rebecca Black’s Friday song. I know what you’re thinking but we wanted to see if they would play it. They never played it. However, they did play Justin Bieber’s Baby song. LOL! It was interesting to hear it on piano and I could tell everybody was having a great time with that song. They played almost everything from Journey to Lady GaGa. The crowd was mixed but I noticed a lot of older people there. It was a fun environment and some great musicians performing on stage. Fun!
