Beautiful clothing, but too expensive for me to buy anything :(. Dresses seemed to mostly range $ 55 and up. I would come back here if I had a special occasion for a dress, such as a wedding or fancy party. They also have shirts, pants, etc… but I really liked the dresses the most.

Imagery is a clothing store for women from today, and gay men from Miami Beach circa 2003. Seriously, if you were about to get into the gayest time machine ever, this should be your wardrobe stop to make sure you arrived looking inconspicuous. Now, people are probably going to say I’m being WAY too harsh here, but let me present some evidence. Exhibit A: mesh tank tops Exhibit B: the only swim trunks they carry would make most go-go boys bashful Exhibit C: bedazzled sunglasses OK, they do also carry things like button down shirts, jeans and so forth. But even then, you’d look like that newly single old guy at the club who dug deep into his closet to find whatever outfit he thought was still«hip». Two stars because this place MIGHT be just fine for the ladies. But fellas, I suggest you pass.

Things fall apart! PEr my previous review, I was happy to get back into this store however 1 month or so after being there and attempting to wear the over $ 300+ goods that I got, we’ve come to realize that everything that we’ve worn so far in the earrings/eyeglass department has broken on us. For over $ 300+ I would hope that the quility of items are more worth the price.

This store has changed hands since their Westport days. Surprisingly, their merchandise is very much the same. There is still a ton of jewelry, home items, men’s & women’s clothes and the hilarious and irreverent coFFee staiN greeting cards. In fact they have kept the store so similar that you might think you are still in Westport. How do you know how you are not in Westport? The Leawood customers have been complaining about the coFFee staiN greeting cards. What is sad is that Imagery Inc has decided to hide the greeting cards during the week and only displays them on weekends. I guess the morally bankrupt crowd only hits the store on weekends, Trading your«edge» for a primo zip code? Doesn’t seem like a fair trade to me. Other then that, still the unique finds that everyone loved in Westport.

Don’t you hate it when you favorite store disappears, and you stop by too late to see the«New Location» info? Well if you loved Imagery in Westport, rejoice! They’re still around — in a new state, new location and new owner — with the same über cool fashions for men and women as well as awesome accessories for your home and self. Imagery always had great clothes to satisfy your inner fashionista that you couldn’t find in other places. And their jewelry was, and still is, eclectic and reasonably priced. Possibly the only thing the store could have improved on was customer service, and voila! They did it. One of the new co-owners, Roberta, is there most days, and you’ll love her the minute you meet her. She’s helpful without being pushy, and she’ll give you white glove service or my name’s not Sam Adams. :-) Before you check the new address and jump in your car — here’s a tip. To get to Mission Road from 435 you have to jump off at Roe, head north to the next main intersection(I think it’s 103rd St.) and take a right. Then just jog along 103rd to Mission, take another right, and go south Mission til you can see 435. The center Imagery is located in will be on your left, right next to Blue Koi. Even the neighbors are better at the new digs! Talk about a win-win.
