Ok, what saved them from getting knocked down a star — which I seriously considered for a good 2 weeks — was how AMAZING my — er, our! — wedding photos turned out.
Three big things happened to the Mullikins between our wedding and receiving our photos: Jenilee injured her hand, Jenilee’s grandmother passed away, and they began fundraising for a mission trip to India. All three of these understandably had an impact on the timeline for editing and delivering photos, however I didn’t receive any notification other than seeing their status updates on Facebook. When I finally contacted them about what was going on and asked about an ETA, they were super congenial and prompt in responding. It just bugs me that I had to initiate the conversation, considering the new timeline wound up being nearly a month later than previously expected.
(For the record, they each friended me on Facebook so that I could be tagged in any «teaser» photos they posted while editing. I swear I wasn’t stalking!)
