Store is surrounded by older neighborhoods so you find great stuff from the 60’s and 70’s. Very clean. I donate weekly and always seem to buy something while I’m there.

I now subscribe to the manager emails and tend to visit every couple of months on 50% off days. Their prices fair, but quality of selection varies. Minimum purchase for credit cards is $ 5 now.

I frequent this store about once a month. Pro’s are everything is very clean. Clothing is never bad quality unlike some other thrift stores that will throw anything out on the sales floor. All the sales People are very nice. Con’s are there are no shopping carts, items are not geared towards younger or even middle age crowd. Most things look like stuff my mom or grams would own, They rarely have any furniture or any large items and the prices are a bit high for a thrift store

69 Highway becomes Vivion Rd once you cross over I-35. Part of a string of thrift shops, Nearly New is located in Foxwood shopping mall, This thrift shop has been around for approximately 25 years or more. It is a TRUE non-profit store.(Charges no sales tax) Locals call it the«hospital thrift shop» because it used to benefit North Kansas City Hospital. These days the charities vary, sometimes from year to year but they are all non profits and many, if not most, of the employees working here are volunteers. Clothing is priced individually. They accept donations during operating hours. I believe they are open until 5−6pm. Lots of books, clothing and shoes for everyone. Nice toy selection and housewares of all sort.. Many seasonal gifts and decorations. Good assortment of craft and sewing notions. Prices are sometimes high but clothing is clean and in good condition. Special holiday sales, once a week senior discount specials, colored tag sales. My favorite is the 10cent table. When all else fails the books, records, toys, dishes — whatever end up here and bargains can be found. This is the only shop where I regularly find maps and travel guide books. Normally they have no large furniture selections such as beds or couches. Dressing rooms available. There are no public rest rooms but Alfredos Mexican food a few doors down has one-[ try some bean dippers while you are there] This same mall has a great«Day old Bread» store with discount bakery items. Noteworthy about Nearly New is that they recycle the clothing that doesn’t sell for rags or rag content instead of discarding it.
