Not the best restaurant trip, but not the worst either. The facility had many airs scrubbers going. I wasn’t sure what the problem was, but it was a bit off-putting. The staff was not really dialed in to anything other than their own group conversations. Our actual server was very helpful and friendly. The salad bar was kinda nasty. There were several items that were dried out and crusty. The burger and fries were good. I’m not sure if I will be back here again.

Great place, good food, excellent service. However, it is always very very cold in here. It doesn’t feel warm and cozy. I look around and everyone is eating dinner in their coats. Other than that I love coming here. I just remember to dress warm and always wear socks and closed toe shoes :)

I came to this location for dinner, i ordered 2 meals and a kids meal. The fish smelled and tasted fishy, and the grapes on the kids meal were literally rotten. Pretty embarrassing for a chain this size. I will not return or recommend. I am not sure how this restaurant passes food safety inspections. Eat at your own risk, i recommend going elsewhere.

Ruby Tuesday was a life saver. I was looking for a place that would be open by the time we landed at the airport. Ruby Tuesday fit the bill, closing at 11pm and offering online ordering. It was so easy. Clicked a few buttons, estimated what time we wold be there, and our food was ready and waiting to be eaten. I have to confess that my food was not hot by the time I got to it, but that was my fault because I wasn’t able to eat it until hours after we picked it up. The food still tasted good, even if it was cold. I only had one criticism. It was a touch over salted, but not by much. Love restaurants like this.

What do you expect me show up at any of these places they are always exactly the same. This one had a very nice staff and it had not going for it but outside of that it was annexed my hotel I probably would have gone there

Eating here was like going to a sad Applebee’s or 54th Street. Same looking menu of overpriced bad food. Their salad bar was really good though which is what earned the two stars instead of one. I ordered the chicken strips and fries and the smallest, most depressing $ 8 plate of chicken strips showed up in my table. They weren’t even tasty to make up for the size. I won’t be going back to one of these places nor will I recommend this chain to anyone.

Surprisingly the best experience I’ve had while out to eat in a long time. Our server Brad was very knowledgeable of the menu, knew about all the beer and wine. Even had some helpful suggestions. I ordered a steak and my wife ordered her burger as usual. He asked how I wanted my steak and I told him 140. He knew exactly what I was talking about. Our salads were simply amazing. The salad bar was well stocked, the lettuce choices were very fresh, none of the lettuce was wilted or showed signs of being bad. Everything looked well maintained and clean. When my steak arrived it was spot on perfect. Our server even brought my steak 5 min before my wife’s burger so it would have that perfect temperature. It was 140 exactly when it hit the table. Being a Chef I did cut into the steak to stop the cooking process and waited for my wife’s food to arrive. Her Burger was perfection. There really isn’t anything bad I can say about the experience. After our meal the manager approached on our way out the door and asked how my steak turned out. I told him and thanked him for providing such a pleasant dining experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Ask for Brad you won’t regret it.

Big disappointment. Have taken the fish tacos off the menu, my baked potato looked and tasted like last weeks. And the world famous croutons on the salad bar were hard as rocks. What gave this a 2 star instead of a 1 was the bourbon salmon. That was worth staying. Probably will be awhile before we come back.

The salad bar was fresh and had so many things to choose from. The pasta salad in the salad bar was delicious. The petite sirloin was cooked a perfect medium and was tender and juicy with yummy garlic butter on top. Will definitely return here.

Food came fast. Food was hot. Server was attentive. The salad bar had a good variety. Restrooms were stocked and clean. No waiting at 6:00 pm. Wide variety of choices on the menu. Close to the airport and lodging. Good place for a quick dinner. Plus look for 50% for second meal on Retail Me Not.

Not only is the food good and consistent, but their customer service is fabulous. I’ve been going there a long time as they are next-door to the Courtyard Marriott, and the service and food is always very good for a chain. Tonight they hit it out of the park. I left my jacket on the barstool and unbeknownst to me the bartender, Andi brought it to my hotel with a note indicating that it belong to me. Andi sure didn’t have to seek me out; it really shows what a great employee she is and what a keeper! Great service there plus the extra mile! Thanks!

I know most reviews are really good for this place but we just didn’t think it was that great. He had the classic cheeseburger and I just had the salad bar. The cheeseburger was super salty. The salad bar was very good however there were no bread choices with it. There was also too many things at the salad bar with some type of meat mixed in with them. This is not a good place for vegetarians. There is nothing for us on the menu other than the salad bar. I also think this place is s little overpriced.

Server was great, even at 10 at night. Flew into KC one night, and was hungry and went here with my bf at the time. Our server was perfect, despite the hour. Salad bar is large and delicious, meals are not bad, maybe similar in style to an Applebee’s. The first time I went, a friend said she really liked the croutons, and they are good. They are slightly still soft and come in several types of bread.

I am not a chain snob so I had no problem coming to this location one random Sunday afternoon. My son had a friend over so we had to supply a decent meal. ;) We ordered the appetizer sampler(a plethora of fried items such as cheese sticks, egg rolls, etc) which was actually pretty tasty. Other items ordered were steaks, quesadillas and kids meals(chicken and french fries). We all added the monstrous salad bar for an additional $ 1.99 per person. Now, I am a salad bar snob and they can be scary. I imagine the worst all the time. However, this one is kept filled, clean and the items offered are fresh. Everything was good with no salad bar issues! Hurrah! Our steaks arrived, and our(very super excellent) server promptly asked my daughter if she wouldn’t mind cutting into hers in case it needed more grilling time. She ordered hers medium well. It was just slightly undercooked so she whisked it away at the speed of light and returned with it a few minutes later perfectly medium well. The other two were ordered rare(perfect) and medium(also both perfect). The sides were prepared well – steamed veggies(not over steamed and really perfect), rice pilaf, mashed potatoes. I’m giving the restaurant 3 solid stars, but adding the fourth star for our EXCELLENT server who was on top of everything, had a great personality and hustled when doing her job. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised that the meals were pretty on par with some other major non-chain locations in KC. Ruby Tuesday seems to be upping their game. Good for them… and me!

As advertised. Simple American food. Wife had the chicken BLT, and I the pretzel bacon cheeseburger. All with fries. Both sandwiches were good. The hamburger cooked perfectly. Close to $ 30, and that included a margarita. Good value, and as long as you expect simple food, you will be pleased.

A lot of people turn their noses up to chain restaurants, and that’s too bad, because I always have a solid meal at Ruby Tuesdays. As you’ve probably read/heard, they have an amazing salad bar. I’m not much of a salad fan, but even I can find something I like. My most recent visit was extremely pleasant. The restaurant was almost empty due to nearby construction, and we were greeted immediately by the friendly host. Our waitress was just as friendly, and very attentive. I ordered the Creole Catch, and it was superb. It was seasoned quite well and the mashed potatoes and broccoli were so flavorful. I hate broccoli and I ended up clearing the plate. Yep, it was that good. I skipped desert, but left feeling extremely satisfied. I’ll definitely be back again.

I love the salad bar — this is a quick healthy option to fast food. They do switch things up on the salad bar so don’t always expect the same things. We like the salad bar combo choices like soup and salad bar or the new taco option. Service is always quick and friendly.

I might be spoiled — maybe living in midtown has made me a chain snob, but I have got to say this was one of the worst meals I have had in a LONG time. Let’s start from the beginning… my boyfriend spent the night at the Courtyard next door before an early flight out of MCI. It was after 9pm and we were starving and wanted a drink. We’d both been to a Ruby Tuesday in the past and thought, how bad could it really be? We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip to start, fairly common dish at chains. It was the saltiest dish I have ever had at any restaurant EVER. I even tried it sans chip to make sure it wasn’t the chips, nope it was definitely the dip. For dinner my boyfriend had a burger and I had a pasta with a parmesan sauce and broccoli. How in the world can you eff up a burger you might ask? You salt the hell out of the patty before dousing it with an even saltier sauce. On to the pasta… SALTY. I know you can’t come to expect much, but dang, come on… TASTEYOURFOODBEFORESERVINGIT! The second star comes from the service alone. Our server was extremely nice and mostly attentive… she was just a but spacey. My boyfriend had to ask three times for a lime for his Corona before she actually brought one and after her telling us the biscuits were coming right out twice, they never arrived. All in all — never again. I don’t think I will ever bring myself to dine at another Ruby Tuesday, anywhere.

The salad bar(which comes with most meals) was plentiful and fresh. I went for the Fit and Trim menu and got the Creole Catch. A nice filet of fish, broiled with cajun seasonings that had a great quick to it. I like spice and this fish was kickin’… the rice pilaf was light and well seasoned, but the green beans were overly salty and oily. Ruby Tuesday, Applebees and others are doing a great job highlighting menu items that are low in calories… that helps the healthy diner to find choices that are varied and«good for you»

Every once in a while I crave a steak and I don’t want to pay a lot. I’ve found that Ruby Tuesday’s can usually satisfy my craving. This visit was no exception. My steak was surprisingly tender and prepared as I had ordered. The baked potato was large and tasty. The only downside was the«garden bar» which came with my steak was really disappointing. It seemed a lot of the fresh veggies were missing that I have become accustomed to at Ruby Tuesdays. No beets, chick peas, or cherry tomatoes. Since I sat at the bar, the service was prompt and efficient; and my order came out quickly. Really not too many complaints; yes it’s a bit pricey but better than paying twice as much elsewhere.
