Three Dog Bakery

I read all the other reviews then had to check to make sure I had gone to the same place. everything in the store was very pricey. we were the only customers in the store and we didn’t get a «hello» or any acknowledgement whatsoever. I had heard it was a friendly store but that wasn’t the case on Sunday.

Very helpful staff and super nice! I ordered a custom collar for my dog and had it in two days! My dog loves the treats from there! The girls behind the counter will go out of their way to help you!

Adorable bakery! If I didn’t know they were dog treats, I would buy them for myself. I purchased some biscuits and an elephant toy for our dogs. They loved the cookies! However, the toy that I purchased was destroyed in a matter of days.

Such a cute shop with everything I’ve been looking for. My little girl Kaia loves the different treats I bring home for her. She used to be very picky when it came to treats but now she seems to eat it all.

This cute dog store is a good place to pick up treats or food for your dogs. I got some bakery goods for my dog and he devoured everything and licked the crumbs off the floor clean. My dog hadn’t had anything like this before nor have I seen anything that looked so appetizing.
The price is reasonable considering the effort they put into each treat that makes it look better than some human treats. The staff are super sweet and made ordering fast and easy. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Cool store for doggies and their owners. While the place smells a little off, I think it is because they are making fresh treats for dogs out of stuff dogs like to eat. Just don’t drop in right before lunch.
They also sell a nice variety of made in USA treats (which I like), toys, bowls and other per paraphernalia. Definitely worth a visit.

The pug loves some Three Dog Bakery. I haven’t stopped in a while, but after feeling a ton of guilt and being in the area, I needed to stop and get the pug some make up treats.
They have a good variety of treats including options specific for health needs your dog may have. You can get some general little dog treats, or go for the cases to make sure your baby is really spoiled!
I like that the treats are made with good quality products. The pug gets super excited for the treats and tends to behave better when they are in the house.

I’m not a big fan of The Plaza, but every trip to KC necessitates a trip here so I can get some amazing treats for my pups. All their bakery items are gorgeous, so cheap ($ 2.50-$ 3.00 average), and your dog will LOVE it.

Whenever I get a chance to hang out on the Plaza, I try to stop into TDB to pick up a treat for my furry friend at home. TDB is the kind of place where you are immediately made to feel welcome and you can’t help but smile when looking around at all of the unique treats and accessories.
I appreciate TDB’s baked goods, though you get more bang for your buck when you buy treats in their pre-​made boxes/​packaging. It doesn’t however, replace the «from the heart» sentiment of gifting your four legged friend a cheese pizza, or cat shaped baked good.
Though there are locations throughout the US, this small shop on the Plaza makes you feel like it is a mom and pop organization with one thing in mind — the dogs. Don’t pass up an opportunity to check them out. Prices are reasonable, employees are always friendly and attentive to your needs, and the people/​dog watching is top notch.

Not only am I a fan but my dogs are the biggest fan of this bakery! First got them treats here for V-​Day & they went crazy, scarfed them down in no time. My pug who doesn’t like treats even got in the corner of the kitchen with pink frosting on her whiskers & growled at the other dogs protecting her cupcake. She isn’t a big treat fan but boy does she love Three Dog Bakery cupcakes!
Next visit was for «appreciate your dog day» & I got them some of the regular dog biscuits and of course some more of the gourmet cupcakes and miniature cakes. They were gone in .1 seconds but it’s ok b/​c the treats are healthy, organic, and good for my dogs and whatever makes them happy. makes me happy! =) Will definitely return!

I avoided this place for the longest time, thinking it was too expensive for dog treats. I was wrong! The prices are great and everything is so cute. Bronson thanks you for the perfect cake!

Once upon a time I would have given them four or five stars without thinking. Then… things have changed, and not for the better.
It started when I saw a remarkable difference in quality… on the downside… in their Bitty Bites treats in the store. They were once the only soft dog treat that was PERFECT to put in my doggy’s bone as a filler that would drive him CRAZY and keep him busy for quite some time.
Instead of the perfect shapes that they came in and being soft enough to crush with your thumb and the dog could eat them without fearing of choking, they started to come out as hard as pucks, they looked completely different.
I contacted TDB through their Facebook page and they were NOT happy with me bringing up my dissatisfaction with how they changed the treats. In fact, they deleted my comments and blocked me from posting on their Facebook page. Apparently, they only want to filter through the positive reviews. They will probably try to block this out of fear that somebody doesn’t think they are the best thing going.
Then again, I used to think that. no more. Through email they explained to me they got new ovens. The ovens suck the moisture out of their treats now, creating hard pucks. The new Bitty Treats and other treats look nothing like they did before. It’s sad they don’t care to figure out a way to make them right. It’s sad they bought new ovens that were different in such a way that they changed the quality of their treats. Now, more often than not, I find myself passing by their treats on the shelf.
They did send me a box of the treats for FREE before they went away. I appreciate that, I really do… but that lasted only so long. It’s clear to me they have no desire to fix the issue with their new ovens. I hope the investment was worth losing customers over.
Since they don’t like remotely negative reviews, they will likely try to block this on Unilocal.This review is NOT FAKE. I am a legitimate customer who loved them but now is quite dissatisfied. If they cared about customers at all, they would leave this review up and try to fix the problems instead of trying to delete the complaints.

The rawhide wreaths are amazing. Way better then the simple knotted rawhide, these are a twisted braid of rawhide wrapped into a circle. A great puzzle and chew toy for your dog. They are top quality. Plus they are buy three get one free right now!
There are also the adorable baked goods. Even my little picky eater loves these. He never takes treats from strangers, but the ladies here are patient enough that he’ll gladly take their treats.
The service is amazing. I’ve been here several times and every time I am greeted warmly with a smiling face. There was one day I walked in on what must have been an employee meeting. The owner personally thanked me for coming in. It was really heartfelt and sincere, and made me feel really good about supporting his local business.
They must keep the place very well sanitized. Unlike other dog stores, my dog doesn’t smell any markings and has no interest in claiming territory here. A great safe place to bring your dog.

This is by far the most wonderful place to treat our four legged kidos! It is local, healthy, and has the best customer service! The even have dog cakes for their birthdays when you really want to spoil them!

If you’re an old lady who thinks she’s seen everything, try paying a visit to Three Dog Bakery.
I actually say this because a little old lady in with her grown-​up son couldn’t get over the fact that those wonderful looking treats in the display case. She kept going on about how it was so novel, while chastising her son for not giving her grandkids and having cats instead.
Anyway, if you have cats (or dogs, of course), this is a wonderful place to come and get something a little special for them. It is indeed a bakery but one for your pets, with actually most of the focus being on dogs. They are super dog-​friendly and allow you to bring them in. In fact, there’s a water bowl by the entrance and they give free samples.
My dog loves coming here. He loves sniffing out the food and *loves* the free samples. I cannot help but spoil him every time by getting him a baked good. Seriously, they look so good that sometimes I’m tempted to eat them.
If you like to spoil your cat/​dog every once in awhile (or often), check out this oh-​so-​very-​cute bakery.

Based on the extreme enthusiasm our dog, Sadie, showed as she scarfed down a special Three Dog Bakery treat last night, I’d say that 5 stars are warranted!
Recently, Muncharoo offered a Three Dog Bakery deal, which we snapped up, as we know that dogs like cookies and treats as much as the rest of us! So, after lunch on the Plaza the other day, it was time to do some cookie shopping for Sadie. The store itself is very cute and welcoming, and the treats look good enough for people to eat! As others have mentioned, they all have cute names, too, like Puppermint Patties. (Yes, we got one of those!) As we had a bit to spend, we bought a couple of larger boxes of prepackaged goodies, and then selected a few special items out of the bakery case.
The lady behind the counter was friendly, offering suggestions when we weren’t sure what something was, and letting us take our time as we debated over which treats Sadie would like best… or which were the cutest! There were also toys, leashes, and other items on offer, in case we didn’t feel like spending all of our money on treats. I’m going to be coming back for the adorable squeaky winged dragon I saw, as I think Sadie would love it.
Everything at the bakery is made with human-​grade chemical-​free ingredients, which I really like. So, we feel good about spoiling Sadie, and she doesn’t realize she’s eating something that’s relatively healthy for her. We didn’t bring her in with us this time around, but as we were leaving, we saw a very excited canine shopper headed in. I’m sure Sadie would be equally happy to visit, just from her reaction over the shopping bag full of treats!
If you’ve got a furry friend to spoil, I definitely suggest stopping in.

I know my pooch, Zoe, understands when we tell her we’re going to the «Cookie Store». She takes her stroll around the block, tries to go into the Better Cheddar but then heads down to «her» store.
It is a treat for all of us to go into Three Dog Bakery. For Zoe, she gets a sample or two and lots of «you’re so cute». For us, we smile at the treat names — Pup Tarts instead of Pop Tarts, Drooley Cake instead of Sponge Cake, etc. The treats are cute, healthy and made without preservatives and chemicals.
You can tell the people who work there really like animals and don’t judge the crazy dog-​people. At least not while we’re in the store. Regardless, the store has a warm and fuzzy feeling. A big plus, your pet will leave feeling very pampered from the attention and full from the samples.

This is Lucky Girl’s favorite take out spot in Kansas City. My little dog thinks this place is tops. She loves it when I bring home cookies, just for her, and can’t wait for me to grab her leash, and take her. She knows all about the doggie cake they serve to dogs who are there, with their owners. Next time I go, I am planning on brining her, and she knows this.
The doggie cookies are inexpensive, and worth my dollar, just for cuteness. The dog accessories are fun, and useful. I find things at this store, I’ve not seen at other stores. I also like the pies and cakes. The prices are great, and the staff is very friendly.
Last night, all the customers who bought their dogs, the clerk went out to the dogs, and petted each one. When home, knowing I had the doggie cookies in the bag, my dog slept near the counter, waiting for me to give her more. I like it that this store is totally dog friendly, and think it’s cool that you can leash up your dog, and take them shopping.
