Walnut Tower Apartments

The property management & staff are wonderful. The building is well-​kept, and I love the amenities I receive for the amount of rent I pay. Not only is it a great location, but I have wonderful views of downtown. Also, the building has a rooftop, which is a pretty nice amenity for entertaining guests!

The rent it pretty expensive and the walls are pretty thin. Any time I have ever needed maintenance it’s gotten done on the same day. I haven’t had any issues with bugs.

Just moved to Kansas City from Denver. The property managers Jared Fleming and Randy Brannon made our move so easy, which we were so thankful for. They made sure that we knew all about the property before move in, had the amazing apartment ready for us on our move in day and helped in every way possible. I am so very impressed.
The lobby is super clean and beautiful. It reminds me of a European hotel. The outside is blanketed in beautiful flowers and tables where you can have your morning coffee. There is a beautiful roof top deck that over looks all of Kansas City Missouri –breathtaking.
There is a laundry room that is immaculate and a community room with vending machines and free coffee & tea. Complete with TVs and free WiFi. The gym is huge, along with a dance studio and tanning bed.
Our apartment is beautiful, quite and peaceful. Great views from our windows. Nice sized kitchen. This building has incredible charm.
I am so excited to call this place home! If you are looking for a fabulous, reasonably priced apartment in downtown with TONS of amenities, you will want to make walnut tower your new home! I promise you will love it!

This is the most terrible apartment building I have ever experienced living in. Though there are several issues that occurred during the time I lived here (1 year), the main issues included a large chunk of concrete falling from the ceiling in the parking garage (pointing to dangerous structural issues), my apartment flooding due to ancient pipes the building refuses to replace, and the notification from the apartment building that my kitchen wall was going to be torn out to repair the pipes in a neighboring apartment. UNACCEPTABLE, people!
The management also struggles with simple person relations. They also struggle with keeping their posted office hours. The office is only open until 5:30pm. I’m lucky if I make it home by 5:20 but on the days when I do, I often find the office has been close early.
The staff is also not friendly. Sadly, I HAD to give the building one star to even write this review but it does not even deserve this.
Bottom Line: DO NOT LIVE HERE!
