Our son loved buying flowers for his girlfriend here. John took great care of him and often worked together with our son on unique and beautiful bouquets.
After our son passed, John created gorgeous arrangements for the service and personally delivered them, taking time to offer condolences to my husband and me.
We love John and his arrangements are like none other.

I’ve ordered from Westport several times, the flowers were pretty good but this last time they totally ignored my message for the card. If you spend $ 200 on flowers and spend time composing a heart-​felt sentiment to accompany the flowers and all your loved one gets is the flowers with «Love Dave» on the card, the moment was lost. My wife said she even turned over the card to see if there was a message and there was none.
To make matters worse, I contacted Westport floral both through their web site and again thru a direct email to the shop expressing my disappointment. I didn’t demand a refund or % back or anything, just let them know what happened and that I was less than satisfied with their service. I got zero response from the shop, not even a «sorry». I send my wife flowers often and I guess it’s time to find a new florist.

This place knows what they’re doing. Westport Floral ordered my reception flowers in bulk for me. Not only did they come in on-​time for the wedding, they were beautiful. They were also able to put together a last-​minute bouquet for me. The prices were reasonable and the people were friendly and helpful.

Wow. Wilting low-​level flowers are one [completely forgivable] thing, but rudely interacting with the sick patient that you gave them too? That’s not forgivable. Just to be clear, your job is to make people happy.

Just picked up some flowers to brighten my girls day. Friendly and helpful staff, and they had the perfect bouquet on hand and ready to go! Reasonable prices, in out and done in 5mins… what more could you ask for? This place gets all my flower business from now on.

I just went into this chaotic mess. There were half dead over priced flowers everywhere. 2 pizzas were on the floor where customers could have been and the displays were poor. The selections were mostly dead and droopy. I feel bad for the guy that paid 85 bucks for a dead gardenia bush for his girlfriends new design studio. I understand its a flower holiday but its unprofessional to be knocking over cases full of water on yourself when trying to sell dead flowers. I’d advise taking business elsewhere. The parking is a joke as well.

I have absolutely NEVER been treated so POORLY by a «customer service» establishment like this. THE OLD BALD MAN, most likely the owner. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. I feel awful for the employees of this florist shop.
I believe in small shops and buy local, but this asshole wants me to have my wedding flowers bought online.
I went into this small location the day before Valentine’s day to put in an order to pickup the next day. I wanted to put down a budget and a color scheme and then have this completed for the next day. Easy right? NO!
«NO!» says this NASTY OLD MAN. «IF YOU WANT ‘LOOSE’ FLOWERS THEN COME BACK TOMORROW. I’M NOT STORING THESE FLOWERS FOR YOU OVERNIGHT. NOW GET OUT OF MY STORE.»
See what I mean? Stay away from this place.

I came into Westport Floral Designs looking for a corsage at the very last minute. John took such great care of me, sculpting a magnificent corsage so quickly! He really knows what he is doing! A master of his craft. I found my new florist! Will always go back!

This is the best flower shop in Kansas City. It’s a small shop with a lot personal service. Not only is the owner creative with arrangements, he is also informative and the flowers are always fresh. He can create anything for any budget. There is no reason to search or go anywhere else.

I am so thoroughly impressed by this floral shop. I have now used them five times and have been so happy with every experience. The owner has been there each time and is the friendliest and most helpful man. I most recently went in yesterday to order an arrangement for a funeral. I wasn’t able to attend the service but my friend called me today and told me that the arrangement I sent was the most beautiful one there and that everyone was so impressed. It makes me feel so good to know that the owner of Westport Floral Designs put so much thought and care into creating it for me just as he’s done each time I’ve been there. I couldn’t ask for a better experience!
