Went in on our way to airport and was so happy we did. Customer service was amazing. The beautiful girl working was so wonderful. I told her what I was looking for and she pulled tons of bikinis for me to try on. She helped me get into a couple because they were so strapy. I walked in pretty sad Becuz we were leaving and walked out happy and very pleased with my purchase and the service. Will visit again the next time we are on the island.

My first impression visually was great! Lots of selection, and sign says discounted beachwear. How could you go wrong! Well the help is ultra rude. The young lady that was working didn’t greet me nor ask if I needed any help. Not a welcoming shopping experience. She was head down playing on her phone the full 10 minutes that I walked around. I felt uncomfortable even asking for help or to try something on. And as for«discounted» beachwear… Ya right! I could go to a local surf shop and get a Billabong bikini for half the price they are asking in here. Kind of ridiculous. Will not EVER be returning here. Waste of time!

i walked into aloha swimwear to browse. i never stopped in to look at their inventory before. they have a lot of super cute suits! after having two kids, i haven’t worn a bikini in years. they did have a good selection of one piece suits as well as tankini tops for women who are looking for that kind of suit. the two ladies who were running the store were very nice and even gave their opinion of the suits i picked out when i asked. and locals! they give kama’aina! that’s a huge plus for me! as stated in the review already posted, yes, they do not make any exceptions for returns or exchanges. that was clearly stated before i finished my transaction and i am glad that a bathing suit shop doesn’t accept them, anyway. i don’t want to buy something some else has used. check out aloha swim next time you’re in the market for a cute bikini or bathing suit!

This refers to the Kauai store, off of Kuhio Parkway, in the Safeway lot, regarding a purchase on 4.02.15. BUYERBEWARE! Be absolutely certain of your purchase, even if only for over priced running tights. You WILL be denied a refund & treated harshly. Despite not printing«No Returns» on their receipts, not verbably stating all sales are final and covering the hand written«No Returns» sign that is scotch taped to the counter top, the store operator refused to issue a refund. The seller also lied, stating the policy was printed on the receipt; it was not. When shown the receipt, her response was, «I’ll have to put it(No Returns) on there,» not the more customer friendly response, «Sorry, my oversight. I’ll issue a refund.» She promptly told me to leave and threatened to revoke her coworker’s offer of an exchange. As imagined, this environment was now very uncomfortable for a teen to pick another item. Worker Scott blamed«Corporate» for the non negotiable no return policy and refused to give me a phone contact, saying he was prohibited from doing so; he offered to take my number to forward. A web search showed 808.294.1761&808.294.1964 for Aloha Swim and that their online store accepts returns. I will phone & I hope to amend this review. Until then, Caveat Emptor @ Aloha Swim in Kauai. Update #1 After my failed return attempt, I later found the purchased Necessity yoga tights for $ 13.99 at another vendor; I paid $ 47.00 plus tax at Aloha Swim for the same item. Truly my bad for being a sucker. Update #2 Though Scott took my number & said he would forward it to «Corporate,» it is now three weeks later and I’ve no contact from«Corporate.» Update #3 My friend reported a discussion with Scott of Aloha Swim who told her he was an owner of the store. So, he either lied to her when he said he was an owner or lied to me when he blamed«Corporate» for the non negotiable return policy.
