Kauai Henna

I discovered Catana two years ago and have been a staple on every Kauai trip. She is super talented and works with you on what you are looking for and then makes it even better! The end result is always fabulous!
Her demeanor is calming and her henna knowledge is extensive.

Catana was quick to reply to my text and gave me times she was available. Loved meeting her and her assistant Mandy. My daughter and I chose the Jagua. The designs are beautiful. If you are in Kauai or planning to be, KauaiHenna is a must. Mahalo!

Was so excited when I checked in for the luau to see there was henna! Asked her to do whatever she wanted and it came out better than I could’ve hoped. The only souvenir from Kauai that I need.

I got a beautiful private session with Catana. Her work speaks for itself but her kind and gentle nature makes her work all that more wonderful.

I recommend Henna Kauai. Five of us had different designs. Everyone was very happy with how theirs turned out. We made arrangements to meet Catania prior to a luau that she was working at after our appointments. She was on time, very pleasant and charged a reasonable rate.

This was our second visit to the lovely Catana, who is now part of our annual Kaua’i vacation. She is an incredibly gifted artist, really listens to what you want, and brings much more than the usual hibiscus flowers to the table. My recommendation is to see her in her studio — last year we went to the luau location and while we loved the finished product, it was more enjoyable this year without random people crowding around. It is off the beaten path, but well worth it and the drive gives you time to sit still and let the ink dry. Added bonus — we came home with delicious tangerines from the giant tree in her front yard.

This was my first time ever getting henna and I absolutely loved it!
Catana was wonderful! I found her info on Unilocal while a friend and I were vacationing in Kauai and decided henna tattoos would be a good idea. We called Catana, left a message, and she returned our call the next day. At that point we set up a time and met her at her beautiful home, which doubled as her henna/​art studio. Catana was friendly, welcoming, informative, and above all, professional!
My friend elected to receive a jagua design on her back, which is darker than henna and last longer. While I received a traditional henna design on the palms of both of my hands. Catana drew both designs freehand and they were beautiful/​impressive! We were at Catana’s house for a little less than hour and had a great time. We are so excited about our designs and the price was extremely affordable. My friend paid $ 35 and I paid $ 40.
Overall, I am extremely happy with my first ever experience with henna and look forward to having it done again!

I just got a beautiful rose design done dying my visit to Kauai. She suggested using Jagua, as an alternative to henna (it’s darker). My body art was beautiful! It was kind of expensive, but definitely worth it! I sent a picture, and she did it even more beautifully!

Canata is amazing. No need to ask questions, just book her asap. You will not regret her artwork, her patience and her work ethic. very very very satisfied.

Catana is a sweet heart and does amazing Henna. so precise and beautiful. She can do Polynesian and Indian style with equal beauty! I can’t wait to get more Henna from Catana.
