Did some Unilocaling to find food place to have dinner. Oldest kid wanted pizza, mom wanted wine– we ended up here. I was really disappointed. Service was bad. Brought the wrong food and waited forever for the right food, forgot the wine, didn’t clear dirty dishes until the very end of the meal. Normally, I’m pretty mellow about such things but it was one thing after the next. Food was average. For the amount we spent, would’ve been better off someplace else. This is the first negative review I’ve done. Maybe it was just a bad night but it was not a great experience for us.

My wife ordered spaghetti and meatballs while I had the chicken parmesan. The food arrived so quickly that we were a little worried that it was all pre-made, but it tasted fantastic. The wait staff was friendly but seemed pre-occupied despite it not being a busy night. They skimp on the bread which is odd for an pasta joint since bread is such a big part of the meal.

Great Italian place on the island! Came here to celebrate a birthday dinner. Very cozy and modern set up and super kind staff! Food portions are huge and so flavorful! Pesto pasta is amazing! Truffle fries were to die for!

I am a fan of Italian food and am glad we got to try this place while visiting Kauai. First of all, the appetizer bread they give you was amazing… so I knew that everything else to follow was going to be great, and I was right. Their bread was different from others, it wasn’t the traditional French bread but instead focaccia bread. It was so soft & warm and could tell it was fresh. We got the fried calamari for the appetizer. This was a very big appetizer portion, between me and my boyfriend we could not finish all of it. For my entrée I got the pesto pasta. I’ve read previous reviews about how it was so I decided to try for myself. Their entrée portions are huge! I ended up taking the rest of my meal home. I definitely recommend for people who are in the mood for Italian, or to just take a break from all the local food on the island!

It’s been 5 years since I last dined at Kauai Pasta and the food is still very good and at a reasonable price. Good customer service, too. Fettucine Alfredo was delicious Chicken Parmesan with pesto pasta was also very flavorful Lasagne was tasty Salads were good It was nice going out to a nice Italian restaurant after eating lots of local food and plate lunches on the island.

My mom got the GF margherita pizza. The GF pizza was great. It’s not the pre-packaged dough you usually get. It was thicker than most crusts and light and fluffy. It was a little salty, but in a good way. I had the GF pesto. The sauce was really good, the noodles were average. 5 stars for the pizza, 3 stars for the pasta. Prices are between $ 15-$ 20 a plate plus the usual $ 2GF surcharge. The waitress was very knowledgeable about celiacs and mentioned that they change everything when GF was ordered. Separate pots, water, etc. I didn’t have a reaction at all.

This is our first time dinning here while visiting the island. Service: The waitress only gave us 2 plates even she confirmed there were 3 of us. I asked for lemon for the fried calamari and she never came back with it. She never came back to check on us after the food arrived. Food: clams pasta… no flavor with only a few pieces of pasta.(See picture) Too over priced for $ 20+. Fried calamari-ok. Little too salty for me. Caesar salad – was ok. My son ordered the meat sauce pasta. He said it was too salty and I agreed with him too. Parking: small parking lot. Difficult to get in and out of the parking lot.
