Ola Massage

After five nights on a much firmer mattress than I am used to, my neck and shoulders were very tight. I decided to go to Ola for done general relaxation and boy did I get it. Bonnie took great care of me and I feel as good as new. She has very strong hands and she did a great job of finding the knots and fixing them.

My friend and I decided to ditch the fancy hotel massage and come here. Boy what a great decision that way. Laura was excellent. I was completely relaxed and would consider a 2^nd visit before we leave. If you want a great massage without paying the high resort prices, come here.

Best massage ever!!! I had the 60 minute Swedish with Avril and she was incredible. I’m a massage junkie and this was one of the most memorable. I totally passed out and I think my masseuse let me sleep for an extra 10 minutes on the table. Good prices in comparison to other places. Eat at JO2 for dinner afterwards for an amazing evening!

My husband and I decided to get a 90minute couples (prenatal for me) massage here. It was amazing and the best decision before our 11hr flight back home. We will definitely visit again when we are back in Kauai

I am staying at Waipouli Beach Resort and saw the excellent reviews of nearby Ola and decided to book a much needed deep tissue massage. Elaina was my masseuse and it was awesome. I’ve become a little picky about my deep tissue massages over the years and it is a real bummer when you get a bad one. Elaina was great! I wish she was massaging in my home town I would go more consistently! Plus it’s such a great value compared to the outlandish price at the WBR spa.

Elionne was great! Best massage I’ve had in a while. Perfect activity to do on a rainy vacation day.

My husband and I each had a 60 minute massage with aromatherapy and it was outstanding! Both Bonnie and Elani were very professional and it won’t be long before my husband and I return for another session.

Hands down best massage received in my life. Carla was knowledgable and found numerous points and applied proper pressure. I’ve received many massages from spas, hotels, physios and I’d place her pressure close to physio level and feels more effective. Whilst the environment is a bit rustic this massage therapist is a surprisingly learned professional if I wasn’t a tourist I’d be going back there on a regular basis

My husband Don and I had massages at Ola when we were in Kauai over the holidays. I can’t say enough about the tremendous massages we each had. We each received a high-​quality, deep tissue massage at a fraction of the price of a high-​end resort spa. My therapist was Elionne & his was Lesley. We booked a 90 minute massage — it was the best I have ever had on the island. The facility & people are down to earth (which we prefer) & have a local feel. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Kauai.

My husband and I had a vacation massage from Ola Massage. Overall we are happy with the massage. Elena did my massage and she was able to maintain a lot of pressure which I like. My only criticism is a minor one at its about the amount of oil she used – which was a lot. I actually oiled through my clothes on the way back to where we are staying. I had to shower before we could do anything else. I didn’t catch the name of the gal who massaged my husband. He said she did a nice job though he would’ve preferred more pressure. The facility is nice – nothing fancy but it does the job. There are curtains separating between the two massage areas. This was fine since I was with my spouse but I might have felt differently if a stranger was on the other side. All in all, we are very happy with our massage and would come back next visit to Kauai.

We came to Kauai for our honeymoon and we’re looking for a last minute massage before we left the beautiful island and return to the hustle and bustle of San Francisco. Carla at Ola was very accommodating and squeezed us in for a 60 minute massage. The massage I received from Carla was hands down the best massage I’ve ever gotten. She got all my knots in my neck and shoulders and I will definitely be returning on my next trip here.

This 5-​Star review is specifically for the massage therapist Avril, who gave me two massages on vacation that were the best I’ve ever had. She’s warm, professional, checks in with you to make sure the pressure’s right, makes you feel instantly at home, and when she works, she moves with incredible intention. I couldn’t think of a single way to improve the experience, both times. Thanks Avril, you rock!

Massages here are The Best! Better than any spa on the island and certainly more affordable. Easy to get appointments and right off the main highway. Whenever I see Elaina for a massage I wonder why I waited so long. Don’t let the looks of the outside of the building fool you. This is the place and Elaina has the strongest hands ever!

I get massages a few times a month and have kept it going into this second pregnancy. On vacation with my husband and daughter, I was really hoping to find a quality deep tissue massage without the normal astronomical charges assessed to tourists. My wish was granted! I was so pleased with my high quality relaxing massage at a great value, and specifically my masseuse Elena, that I extended my 60min massage to a 90min massage on the spot! Highly recommend this no frill, high quality massage spot for even the most seasoned of massage enthusiasts. Elena and the other staff members are super sweet as well. Must try!!!

Not fancy, but does the job. «Couples massage» should be more honestly sold as simultaneous massage near each other, as there is no side-​by-​side and despite the offer/​request to open the curtain between us, it went undone. The massage table feels a bit cheap, not a luxury spa. Decent price and helpful after an adventurous day of rafting, but won’t go down as anything super special.

What can I say but fantastic place to get a massage. The place of business to how it is conducted to their therapist is how it was via all the positive feed backs I’ve read here and on Trip Advisory!!!

Excellent first time experience! I called last minute to see if they had openings, I was thankful enough that They were able to fit me in asap. Avril was who massaged me and she did an excellent job with my prenatal massage. My back feels 100X better! Pricing is very good for Kama’Aina. Definitely worth it. And I will definitely be returning back soon!

Neck and shoulders was perfect, felt 100% better after I went in, reasonably priced. I think the coconut oil she used on my after the massage made me break out. But would go back.

Was staying in a hotel very close by, so while out walking we decided to stop in. Ola Massage had very good reviews and thought it was worth a try. The reviewers were right. We were able to get in later in the day and it was worth every penny. I had a massage therapist named Jill and even though it was the first time visiting the studio and having Jill, she was able to immediately pinpoint where my sore spots were and worked those areas. I did feel a bit beat up afterwards, but in a good way. It was exactly the massage I needed. I had a 60 minute session and wished I would have booked for a longer one. I’ve had numerous massages, and this definitely ranks near the top.
The studio isn’t much to look at from the outside and is even less so on the inside. There are two «rooms», which are basically curtain divided. So you can hear the other conversation going on in the other «room». However it is quite muffled, so it’s not like its all audible, or that you are eavesdropping in on a conversation. The studio is clean and that is probably one of the more important priorities. Even though the highway is close by, I didn’t hear the noise from the road at all.
The cost was reasonable. More that what I would pay at home. However most things on Kauai have a premium price.
When I’m back on Kauai, I’ll definitely look at booking another appointment at Ola.
