Great coffee, nice people. Worth the stop! Don’t pass on the snacks because they are GF! These folks really know their coffee. Only 4 stars because it’s a van outside(with seating) but still subject to weather.

Had my first ever butter-based coffee. And got some good zen lessons from the barista. Great spot.

Great coffee & very nice, laid back staff. There are a lot of umbrellas to sit under and hang out. I ordered the vanilla shaker and it’s extremely good. Thanks small town coffee!

Coffee was delicious! We had the star anise latte and the Kevlar. The homemade star anise syrup was incredibly good and the Kevlar was creamy and a little coconut flavor. Perfect! Best coffee on the island so far!

Keep coming back here every day of our trip. Just a small truck but the coffee is just fantastic. I love the cold brew(try it with the cream and syrup, you won’t regret it!) Also most days they have these amazing bagels. Grab a coffee here and walk over to the beach trail. Great find!

Great coffee and local bagels. Unfortunately now that they are in a food truck vs the brick and mortar location they no longer serve waffles.

Medium roasted coffee that has flavor! And doesn’t taste burnt. Best coffee on the island.

The mexi mocha has a big kick to it! It burns the back of your throat in a good way. The owner is from Seattle so these folks know what they’re doing. Best coffee I’ve had so far on the island.

Transitioning from Alaska to Kauai was easier knowing that they have as many coffee joints as we do. This little«coffee bus» has good beverages, friendly service. Made me feel right at home(minus the snow and sub zero temps)… The standard Americano was perfect. I had an interesting chat with the gal who was taking my order about the perfect spot in Kapaa to eat«hangover food»… Awesome.

We drove here nearly every day from Lihue just for coffee. It was delicious and consistent! They serve a nice bold coffee and the friendly ladies do not make you feel like you are just another cup of joe. Also, it is rare that a coffee shop serves a «bulletproof». Theirs was delicious yet a tad overpriced. We make our own version at home and I know it definitely isn’t $ 5 a cup to produce… but that is my only gripe.

Good espresso and it was nice that they had several non-diary options. Expensive seeming for the amount I got but still better price wise and taste wise then say Starbucks.

Got a 12 oz vanilla latte. The house made vanilla syrup and latte were on point. Highly recommend this place. Only advice is that the address has moved a little down the road!

Just down right the street(south) from the original location! I thought they went out of business when I arrived to their old location. Sadly, I had to settle for coffee across the street at Aloha Coffee Truck(not bad not great.) My heart jumped with joy as I drove past the Small Town Coffee truck just down the street from their original location. Their coffee, was AMAZING! No joke. AMAZING. I got the Shaken Iced Coffee Expresso with Vanilla syrup. I liked it so much I ordered the same thing with coconut syrup. Either my heart is pumping with excitement of how yummy the coffee was or I’m over caffeinated.

This coffee shop is awesome. Definitely our favorite place and hidden gem on the island. The coffee is awesome and the Nutty smoothie with hemp milk is mouth watering. I would highly recommend this place. Very very tasty.

The coffee here is excellent. Service is friendly and pretty quick. As with any place, there are pros and cons. The bad: Since this place moved to the red truck, their food items are limited to homemade bagels and assorted baked goods. Not a great family breakfast option, since they don’t have all the food items they did previously. The bagels are delicious though! The good: this coffee is awesome. We got a plain iced latte and an almond flavored iced latte. Both were excellent! Their tropical smoothie was also very good and refreshing. Delicious cinnamon raisin bagel that is homemade by a local bakery. Come here and support local businesses!!! Set your GPS to «Kojima Store» and look for the red truck at the end of the parking lot. There is outdoor seating on a small patio next to the truck.

We stopped here after spending all morning up on the northside with our eyes set on Small Town before returning to the southside. After having tried a number of other coffee places, Small Town was definitely a to-try place, especially after reading up so much about their cold brew. I love their charming(and hipster) set-up that’s off the main highway, and you could easily miss this if you weren’t looking for it. The coffee itself was good and I certainly enjoyed how much they gave you for the price! Some of their smoothies also looked delicious, as did some of the baked items that were sitting on the window sill. Definitely make a stop here if you’re going from north to south or vice versa!

I am a total coffee snob… Small Town Coffee was great. The lady who took my coffee order was nice and personable, and the coffee was outstanding. I ordered a 4-shot 16oz latte, and loved it. I would love to go back and try the pour over. The latte had some acidic, citrus notes, but they were not overpowering. The shots were extracted well and had an excellent caramel color. The milk was also steamed to perfection and had a spectacular microfoam texture. I enjoyed every sip!

Born and raised on Kauai and this place has thee best coffee, but NOT fresh baked goods. My coffee cake muffin still had white flour inside and top was melted. Was told it was freshly baked, but judging by the picture, you decide. One thing to have good service, but another to be lied to. Enjoy!

FYITHISPLACEMOVEDTO A REDBUSINTHEKOJIMAPARKINGLOTBYTAMBA. Wanted to try this place out based on Unilocal reviews. Came on 9÷10÷14. I do agree it’s the best coffee in town. It has that homey taste. If you’re near you must try it. I don’t think that at their current location they are selling food though. I did not see any food menu at the window. Hopefully when I come back to Kauai they’ll find a permanent location by then. I wanted to try their food. It looks so good from all the Unilocalers pictures.
