I had the most amazing experience today at Amita Holistic Spa. Sumita was my therapist and she proved to be an exceptional energy practitioner/​healer. The things she shared with me after my lomi lomi have set me on a path to self-​discovery, love and healing. I’ve never experienced anything like this. I highly recommend Sumita and Amita Holistic Spa to anyone who is ready to be healed.

Went to get my first massage here on my birthday as a treat to myself and I am happy that I did. I got the first time client special for one hour lomilomi massage with Sumita. She is such a kind, caring person omg it was not only a massage but i would say a spiritual experience. She was very in tune with my energy and even gave me advice and suggestions that I didn’t know my heart needed to hear. Her spa is very relaxing and has good energy… I will definitely come back.

This spa is hidden upstairs where rarely anyone goes to at the Halekuai Center in Kapolei. I stumbled upon this place as a christmas present! hooray for gifts! It was actually really easy to find, once I knew it was upstairs from Aloha Sub/​Starbucks/​papa Johns/​Thai Lao etc… you get it. It’s on the 2^nd floor. Cant miss it. :)
Sumita and Erigo were our massage therapists. It was such a great experience all the way from the entrance. We signed our papers and then were asked what type of massage of focus points we had.
As far as services, they offered Lomilomi, swedish, deep tissue, combination, energy healing and some others. I opted for the 60 min combination massage.
After we chose are service they asked us to leave our shoes on the shoe rack. We slipped them off and then off we went into the sliding glass door. You enter and all of a sudden you are in this dim relaxing hallway and escorted to your massage room. It was so relaxing and peaceful, I didnt even get the massage yet.
Sumita and Erigo checked if we were allergic to any essential oils and also asked if we wanted the bed to be heated. Warmed beds! Count me in! It has always been a hidden pet peeve that I got cold during massages, so it was nice for aa change to have this. Once the massage started, She asked me to breathe in, and breath out. I smelled lavender from underneath the table. It was so soothing, it cleared my nasal passages before the massage started. That’s when I knew, this was going to be good.
If you don’t follow me, you need to know that I’m a frequent gym goer. So I am ALWAYS sore from working out. Sumita could tell that I had a lot of tense spots on my shoulders and back. She also gave me a lecture later about stretching before and after workong out. How in the world did she know??? Amazing! Too good! Anyhow, she did a phenomenal massage and I felt 100% relieved after the massage. I had this bad neck pain for a couple of days, and it is gone now. Thank you! Erigo also did a great job on my boyfriend’s massage. He said it was the best massage he’s had in a long time. Just when we thought it was over, they show us to the sit down area to drink water and relax after the massage. It was so beautiful. There was a separate seating area near a fountain. I don’t even know how I missed this area when i first walked in. Anyhow it was the perfect place to rejuvenate after the massage before leaving.
They have a membership option, similar to Massage envy. Basically yoy get a massage once a month and get a discount on the service of course! As First time customers, we got a discount as well. So make sure you ask about it! Appointments are recommended but walk-​ins are welcome on the weekdays!
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with this place. It brought some different things together making it worth visiting lots more. I usually prefer the full service spas with all the amenities, but this place made me reconsider. We both loved the warmed up beds, the aromatherapy, the relaxing atmosphere from start to finish and most especially the very talented staff.

So I had a chance to visit Amita Holistic Spa this past week. I was very surprised how clean, spacious, and serene the space was. I had the lomi lomi massage which was truly amazing. Totally relaxing and invigorating. I can’t wait to my next visit. Thank you~

Sumita is an exceptional energy practitioner! She is truly gifted, talented, and compassionate. She was in tune with my energy throughout my Lomi Lomi massage. Every person at Amita shows a great level of care for you and you will feel refreshed when you leave. This was my second time at Amita Holistic Spa and I will definitely return. The interior design and cleanliness of the spa is better than any spa I have been to in Hawaii and California. If you feel like your body and soul need to rest, look no further than Amita Holistic Spa!

I had a wonderful experience at Amita Holistic Spa. Jamie did a super job on a deep tissue massage for me. Jamie had great technique and got rid of the knots in my shoulders and back. Whew — she had a workout, but lucky me!
Afterwards Sumita came in to do an energy healing for me. If you have never tried an energy healing before, you really should try it at least once. Sumita is the owner of the spa. I can tell that she really cares and her main goal is to help people. Having the energy healing was new to me so when Sumita came in I really didn’t know what to expect. It was actually a combination of energy healing, lomi lomi and massage. Sumita is very intuitive and she knew exactly what I needed. She didn’t speak much at all and started with lomi massage. Then she started Reiki energy healing on me where she held her hands a few inches away from me but I could feel the warmth and loving energy directed at me. I felt very peaceful and open. Next she very lightly passed something over my limbs and body, later she told me it’s called ‘bone washing’. That was an amazing feeling too, almost like brushing away all tensions and leaving out through the bottom of my feet. She finished off with a bit more massage. It was a unique and awesome experience. Something I will go back for.

Awesome experience, I’ve been getting massages for over a decade. This is by far the best place on the island for a massage. I would give this place 10 stars if it was an option.

I was told from a co-​worker that there’s was a new massage place in Kapolei. So, I Unilocaled it and there they were. Called to make an appointment and 30 mins later I was getting a massage.
When I walked in, I was greeted right away. We filled out some forms and before I could finish massage therapist came out. Didn’t have to wait.
Ambience was perfect. Relaxing, calming and quit. Room temperature was a bit warm, but come to find out it wasn’t the room. The table had a warmer. Which wasn’t a problem because after awhile it got a bit chilly.
Now, let me stress how awesome my massage therapist was. I’ve had many massages. Debbie, was awesome. She didn’t talk as much as most do. She asked how the pressure was and that was it. Of course before the massage she explained what she going to do and where I needed most worked on.
She was on point. There was even extra time to work on my shoulders and neck. I have found someone I’d love to see on a normal basis. On top of that, normally I would pay $ 90 to $ 100 massage, this one was only $ 58 for 60 mins. Although it was a promotion, I’d go back. In fact, I am. Scheduled my next appt already.
Can’t wait to go back!
