I have never been a patron at this Papa Johns, and now I probably never will. This Unilocal review is not a commentary on the food, but on the quality of the establishment’s employees. Keep your employee’s driving in check! One of your drivers was speeding — like, going 65 mph in a 35 zone — through Kapolei Parkway near Kualaka’i, weaving in and out of traffic at this speed. When he got to Geiger Rd., which is surrounded by residential developments, he did not slow down at all. He peeled into Sun Terra like nobody’s business. Completely. Unacceptable. To the employee: No one cares that you have a small, spiffy fast car, you’re a representative of your company and should not only take pride in your work ethic, but at least have some decency and concern for other drivers and pedestrians out and about! Papa Johns Kapolei, I HOPE you read this and know that this employee does not give a CRAP about how he portrays your establishment or the surrounding community. If I ever see any of your drivers driving this kind of disregard for basic driving skills(or human life), be certain I will contact the appropriate individuals to see that this changes.

Probably the worst customer service we’ve ever experienced from Papa Johns. They really need to take a look at their management staff and see where they are going wrong. We generally prefer Papa Johns over other pizza delivery places but the Kapolei branch is just terrible– we won’t be ordering Papa Johns again. The food arrives cold and congealed, and the pizza is smashed beyond recognition.(Photos uploaded). When we called to let them know they asked us to text them photos as proof and the manager didn’t bother responding or even apologizing. If you are in their delivery area please do yourself the favor and order from another pizza place.

The service has been consistently slow. Nothing horrible but definitely a little annoying when they say 15 – 35 and it always ends up being 1 hour. To top it all off made an online carry out order got to the location 35 minutes later stood in line for 10 only for them to tell me «oh sorry we forgot to make your pizza, we are gonna do it now. Maybe in another 8 minutes» very disappointed since our family loves papa johns. Guess we will just find another location to go to.

2 orders in the last 2 months and they FORGOT the pepperoni both times! How do you forget one of the most popular — if not THE most popular — pizza topping??? The first time, they offered me a free pizza coupon but this time I just requested a refund. Something is seriously wrong if they can’t even get pepperoni pizza right! Some of their delivery drivers are grouchy too! They barely say anything; just gesturing to sign their receipt — a «thank you» would be nice. I wish I could take back the tip I gave when I entered my order!

I generally don’t write reviews on large national chains since you probably know what to expect with them. I make the exception only if there is a change from the status quo, be it super good or super bad. Here, unfortunately, it is bad. I still give it two stars cause I really like Papa Johns Pizza, probably my favorite of the national chains, and the pizza here is no different from any other franchise. The problem is customer service. It always takes over an hour for the pizza to be delivered, even at times you would think it would be slow(such as a Wednesday mid-afternoon). That wouldn’t be the end of the world and you could just plan around knowing that, except that they always tell you it will be about 35 min. It never is. Then on top of that, the order is never right. I’ve ordered from here at least a half dozen times and never had the order correct. The first time it was a matter of bringing me a 2 liter of Pepsi instead of the Mountain Dew I’d ordered, and ranch for my wings instead of blue cheese. So I figured the heck with it and just took it without demanding a return delivery. But my pizzas have been wrong too on subsequent orders. I’ve had thin crust orders show up as pan pizzas, the wrong toppings on pizzas, etc. In a case where you’re paying that much for pizza delivery(it is super expensive compared to the mainland) your pizza had better be right. So I have to check my order before the delivery guy leaves, and chances are he’s coming back to correct one of my pies(though sometimes I take what I get if the family is hungry enough). It’s a real pain. I’d just stop ordering from altogether but there are only so many places that deliver to where I live. If we want delivery we pretty much have to live with it.
