I tried to redeem a free double-smoked bacon, cheddar & egg breakfast sandwich from an email I received. It can only be redeemed today May 17th. Regretfully after scanning my app on my phone, I was informed that the offer had expired. At 4:45 am this is highly unlikely. A 2nd clerk voiced in and said they were sorry but I’d need to call Starbucks headquarters to let them know the offer was not working. In conclusion, since the sandwich was already made I ended up paying $ 5.18 on my app. Technically I was so disappointed I would of left but I felt bad that the sandwich would of gone to waste. I had hoped the other clerk would of helped me call Starbucks to figure out what was going on since at 4:45 am, I was the only person there. No help was provided.

This Starbuck has one of the best most friendliest staff. I would give the team a 5 out of 5. But my only issue is the amount of homeless that seem to frequent this Starbucks outside and inside. Every single time I go here there always seems to be homeless filling the tables. Sometimes paying customers like me can’t sit anywhere because the homeless take the seats before us and stay there all day. It’s such a shame because I love the convenience of this location and staff at this Starbucks but the homeless kind of scared me away from this location so I usually just get my Starbucks from the Starbucks near Home Depot or Target location. It’s just such a shame since I liked the staff at this Starbucks the most.

So, since we had to wait for JoJo, we ran across the street for a coffee. Parking sucked, but we really wanted coffee so we found a stall a half block away, and we walked. I ordered a tall dark roast, and hubby was reminiscing on our Paris visit, so he ordered a double shot of espresso. «Hot?» she asked… uhh, yeah. I mean, of course, right? Got the drinks in about 4 minutes. I took a sip of mine… Not bad. Not very strong, but oh well. Mia tried his and said«what happened to Hot?» Yep, it was luke warm at best. I took it back to the counter and asked them to mic it for a sec. «Sorry» she said. I can remake it, but I can’t heat it up. Huh? «He’s got it just like he wants it, but it needs to be warmed.» «Sorry“she said again. Well THAT just ruined it. So I guess you can order any coffee you’d like, but if you want to drink it hotter, you’ll have to go home and heat it yourself! We won’t come here again. probably an example of why we rarely go to a Starbucks. They’re not trying to make sure YOU have the best coffee ever. THEY have rules.

This Starbucks is located in Kapolei, right off of Farrington Hwy; right next to Jamba Juice of course. There are 2 hr or 20⁄30 mins parking available for all customers. I am a fan of Starbucks because of its convenience. With free wifi, delicious coffees, relaxed environment, list goes on… You just can’t beat it. I do not go to Starbucks seeking good customer service(I don’t want to expect for too much) but more for what it has to offer, heck, I wasn’t even disturbed that the tables were dirty and one by the door was unstable. In addition, I am obviously not alone for my reasons. There are homeless people hanging around in and outside of this Starbucks; cooling off and using the bathroom. All in all, I will probably never step foot on this Starbucks again unless I really really have to. Being surrounded by homeless people/walking in & out while I’m trying to study is just not my cup of tea.

Typical Starbucks, no better no worse than others. What defines a SBUX location for me is the customer service. And this one is just so-so. While the person who took my initial order(a guy) was pleasant, the person who refilled my order(a girl) didn’t seem to know what a refill is. She charged me for my refill and I didn’t even realize it till the day later when I checked my SBUX rewards card info. I was in the store for several hours and I told her I wanted a refill for my drink, and I even brought the empty cup with me at the register to show that I ordered a previous drink. Then she asked me to scan my card. I thought I was scanning for the $ 0.50 charge for the refill, which gets washed away by my gold membership. But turns out I was scanning for the cost of the drink. It’s irritating that I had to go through the process of calling SBUX customer service to remove the charge from my card. It was a lot of hassle for a few dollars. But I figure, free should be free. Most people don’t check their cards, and I’m lucky I did in this case. Aside from coffee, people go to SBUX because it’s also a good place to do some work on electronic devices. However, if you are one of these people, please note that this SBUX only has ONE electrical outlet(containing two receptacles) in the entire store for customers to use. I know this is not what they sell, but it’s part of their business and that’s why they attract lots of customers. Just be aware, if you sit next to the only electrical outlet, know that there will be many people crowding around you, especially as night rolls in, and waiting their turn. We had such an issue the day I was there that someone went home just to get a power strip for all of us to use. Good thing the outlet didn’t over heat. Finally, and probably worse among them, is the bathroom … it’s nasty! I took a photo(and put it on the feed) and this was after they cleaned it because I could smell what seems to be bleach in there. But still, the floors were dirty with grime and yellow stains. It’s not up to what I believe should be SBUX standards. Oh, and be aware that parking can be tricky for those planning to stay long as a lot of the spots are reserved and are for only 2 hour use.

There’s a reason for the long lines: the service is consistently great and the drinks are always perfect.

The service at this location is Sloowww. The baristas are always friendly. They need to clean the place up and get rid of the Permanent squatters that are there. AKA(their residents) They have their entire house on the balcony. Along with the family bumming wifi, free water and restroom access. They have a lock box on the restroom for a reason. I heard a customer asking a barista for the code, and the homeless lady gave it to her. REALLY!!! Why lock it?

I always go to the other one in Kapolei across Costco but since I was in the area I decided to just go here. There were only two employees working in the front; both seemed friendly. The cashier disappeared into the back room after taking everyone’s order. So that left only one barista making all the drinks and I give her props she made everyone’s drinks pretty quickly!

Kapolei has a couple of locations to get coffee. THISONE is my favorite one! Before I start my review, you will need to know that I am known a starbuck’s regular by staff in 5 locations(so I get complicated drinks! I can’t help it! it’s not my fault they remember!) I’m not one that likes to get the same drink each time. So when I say they get my order right all the time, they really do!(test me if you like, I know a lot of off the menu items and substitutions ^_^) They have all the main things a Starbucks need, the full menu, food and clean seating area and all that. What makes this Starbucks different is the baristas! They are always friendly and helpful. What’s really impressive is two baristas(Kayla and France) have memorized me and boyfriend’s usual iced coffee orders.(Grande iced coffee, with heavy cream, no classic and sugar free cinnamon dulce/hazelnut.) When I order something different they also give me tips to make sure no matter what location makes it, they do it right every time. PLUS, did you know if ANY location gets your drink wrong, they can fix it for free? ^_^* I’m unsure what people are talking about long wait. This location is pretty good. Even if there is a line, they are still fast. I’m sure they make some mistakes, but what business is ever perfect? NONE! The only thing I don’t like is the parking lot is always full, but that is because there are more businesses in the complex. So I give this place 5 stars for being rock star baristas and putting up with my crazy drink orders.

Conveniently located just down the hill and amidst a bunch of other businesses. Plenty of parking. I’ve never encountered NOT finding a parking space yet. Baristas are always friendly and get my drinks correct AND even spell my name right! Always a plus.

Service is always friendly here. There usually isn’t a long line and when there is, the wait isn’t too long. I’m a simple gal with a simple coffee order so I usually don’t get my order botched. The drinks come out quick and always yummy. Parking can be limited but if you go around the right time you should be able to get in, out and on your way with your Starbucks drink or treat in no time. Free wifi and outside seating make for a nice little coffee session with a friend or to get some study time in.

Don’t waste your time at this Starbucks!!! Go to the other one down the street by Home Depot. I thought I’d give this Starbucks another try, but ended up leaving pissed. I ordered a iced caramel macchiato and a ham and cheese savory square. First off, there were 4 people behind the bar and a huge line forming. People were running around, but as you took a closer look, only two of them were working. I waited about 5 minutes for my drink, which was long, but fine. I started getting irritated when my drink came out and after waiting another 5 minutes, I asked about my savory square. The girl said it would be another minute, and overheard her coworker telling her that she forgot to push the button again. So, I had to wait another 7 minutes for my food. PISSED. Oh wait, but there’s more… After my food came out, I grabbed it and ran out the door, since I was now late, and as I started eating it, I noticed that the pastry on the outside was hot, but the center was still cold. Went there to meet a client that lives on the leeward side. We chose this location instead of the others because it was bigger and easy to get back on the freeway to town for me. Our order consisted of coffee and Carmel frap and couple of pastries. They were very nice but they did not warm up the pastries as we asked too. The embarrassing part is they forgot about my caramel frap and had to wait another few minutes for my drink and leave my client outside waiting! Oh well, hope next time I’m here, they won’t make that mistake.

Dirty counters and floors. Limited food options(especially for early morning). Broken ovens. Snotty baristas. Baristas who are talking about their last shift with«so-and-so» instead of paying attention to the customer. Seriously? This is why micromanaging exists. Some people need it and some places need it. I know this place does!

This Starbucks is one of many in Kapolei. This is the one near the Chevron gas station, across the street from the Kapolei Shopping Center. Everytime I go here, my order is done right. There is also a male cashier who is always smiley and asks you how your day is going. Service is in and out and there is usually a lot of parking on the bus stop side of the store.

Service is always exemplary, my only gripe is the horrible parking lot. But that isn’t their fault, so they still get 5 stars! It’s hard to be disappointed at a Starbucks. Even when they spell your name wrong, I anticipate seeing what they named me!!! And caffeine and bakery items, how child it ever be wrong ? I love Starbucks, gold rewards member thinking they need a platinum card!!!
