This place does not seem as popular as Daiichi Ramen or Ramen Ya in the Kapolei Area, but it is very very good. I got their Combo set with Katsu Kare. The Ramen stock is beyond perfection, in my opinion is is way better than Ramen Ya, the gyoza is very enjoyable, not burnt, but perfectly crispy. Only thing is the Curry on the Katsu, it has a sweet taste to it that I was kind of not used to, but you don’t complain when you’re hungry haha. The Ramen shop is very clean, sometimes when I come in it smells like the cleaner they use, customer service is good and I recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat Ramen all day and everyday.

I went here for lunch other day and tried their Tan Tan ramen. It was ok and bit on sweet side. On the menu it said it has peanut butter inside which I thought was interesting. The noodles were super soft and I prefer them more al dente a bit. Service was ok here.

Worst. Ramen. Ever !!! If I could rate this zero stars I would. My husband and I enjoy authentic Japanese ramen. We try different places on the island all the time. This place was just horrible. I couldn’t even eat it. I ordered the miso ramen and the noodles were so mushy and tasted like cornstarch. It just wasn’t edible. I was very disappointed. Also, let me add that we found a bug floating in one of our bowls :/

Miso ramen was bland, noodles were super bland as well. If you’ve tried ramen from Japan you should stay away. Staff was super friendly however.

What can be said about a good ramen restarsunt. It is clean. The water comes in a decent size cup. The Spicy Shabu Shabu Beef Ramen was delicious. The broth was spicy and creamy, although it did lack in saltiness, the addition of soy sauce made it better… It was delicious. I tried some of the Mochiko Chicken Curry and Macaroni Salad rice plate. They forgot the curry at forst, but quickly remedied the situation. The chicken was crispy and delicious. The mac salad left much to be desired. It was creamy, the noodles were cooked properly, but it seemed like it was not allowed to rest long enough to get the true mac salad properties gained from resting over night. The dinner was delicious and i would recomend them for those seeking a good place for ramen.

This is a pretty new place. Stumbled apon it by accident. I went to eat at the previous business only to find out it closed an this place was here. But gave it a try and I’ve been hooked ever since. I must confess I love the garlic shrimp. I always get the combo. Prices are good same as other ramen places. But the service here is alot better. The lady there remembers my co workers an I everytime we eat there. I would’ve gave it 5 stars but yesterday they had a new server. She forgot the rest of my co workers order. A good whole 20 min went by after everyone else had their food. I had to remind the gentleman working there. He was very applogetic and hurry and rushed it out. Of course will be back. Check them out if you’re in the kapolei area!

Yes it’s a hole in the wall, yes it’s in a strip mall with all the local eateries… but if you want an authentic bowl of ramen… then this is the slurpy best in this neighborhood! The broths were aot on! The bariety and abundance of ingredients impressed even me! Thank you for treating your customers generously ! For $ 26 we were stuffed and happy! Sweet dreams!

Super good and great service! I ordered the seafood yakisoba and it was a lot bigger than I thought it was. Definitely worth the price, and it tasted really good. The gyoza was really good too!(: Also the restaurant is very clean.

Awesome customer service and the food was yummy. We had their garlic shrimp thingy that came in the hot stone pot. One thing they were missing was the hot chili oil for our gyoza… that okay though. The customer service made up for it :)

Another delicious amazing phenomenal ramen place for the win! Price points are amazing, even for combos. $ 7-$ 10, you can get mini ramen, gyoza, and choice of side… think tofu or chicken karage. Come between 2−5pm and get a free side of gyoza. Noodle dashi was flavorful and well seasoned. Big portions and delicious noodles – not sticky, mushy, or hard. Service amazing, fast, friendly, and food shoots out the kitchen super quick. A super casual environment with five star food, great also for those post-exercise or surfing adventures as there are lots of carbs to indulge in. New place in the strip-mall, definitely make sure to give it a try. They also have a stamp card deal where after 10 meals, your 11th is free.

Located in the Kapolei Market Place, Takara Ramen is the only ramen joint in the plaza. This is probably one of the few places where the customer service is genuine. We were warmly greeted and felt like kings. Their menu is similar to other ramen joints, only their combination meals were slightly different. The one we opted for was garlic shrimp, gyoza, plus one choice(we choice chicken katsu curry). This felt more like two entrees and an appetizer. You really have to try the garlic shrimp… FTW…this was awesome!!! Sizzling shrimp with deep fried garlic bits, dipped in garlic oil heaven… WOW! Here’s a tip. Dip your 4 gyoza in the garlic oil and enjoy garlicky goodness! My son ordered the spam katsu curry. Not bad. Can’t really mess up curry in my opinion. Their ramen bowls were very generous. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck but the noodles themselves taste like every other ramen joint in Kapolei. They must all order from the same company. Truly, their ramen seems like any other ramen bowl on the West side. My suggestion? Try to use authentic ramen from Japan and/or change the soup base to cater to Japanese tourists. Being so close to Ko Olina, it would be wise to make your ramen more authentic. Number one, it’ll set it apart from all the other ramen joints in Kapolei and it’ll draw in business from locals and number two, it’ll draw in tourists who want a taste of home. At the end of the meal, they were kind enough to wrap up our leftovers instead of just giving us boxes. After engaging in a bit conversation, I felt welcome to return. If anything, I’ll be back for their garlic shrimp for sure! Hopefully, they’ll heed my advice. I’m always looking for ramen that’s similar to shirokiya’s ramen.

Terrible!!! Don’t go here please save yourself a trip! Server was sooo rude. We receive our appetizers after we got our dinner. I asked the lady what drinks they have and she pointed at there refrigerator which I couldn’t see. I asked what’s in there? She said I don’t know she was serious! I should’ve left but my stupid self stayed and ordered anyway big mistake.

Would probably give 3.5 stars if able, because it was decent. The service was great and everyone was really friendly. There was also WiFi, even if it was a bit spotty. The pork fried rice was really good and a fairly big portion. The gyoza was alright as well. I was not really a fan of the ramen though. It was a little bland for me. All said, it was still pretty good for the price and was conveniently located while I was out that way.

I don’t give bad review I give true reviews. The service we got there was super fast and well time we were the only table there but, the server was really good. The price of the kid menu’s was over price. The price for the ramen not too bad but what I got was way too small for the price. The service was real good it was my second time there, first time there was not so good service side slow and way too long. This time there was real good and fast but price was not so great because we bought two kids meals. 6.50 $ and 6.75 $ can’t eat there everyday if your on a budget. A kid meal should be under 4 $ and small portions enough for two seven years old can finish. My ramin was 8.75 $ small bowl and little noodle. The service was great so I tip him 20%. I had better ramin place to eat so I won’t go there again unless I’m already at that area. Which mean I won’t drive there just to eat there.

Under new management following the old Tokyo Noodle House. Was crowded on Sat night around 6pm. Friendly service. Got combo with mini ramen, gyoza, and katsu curry. All good but wife’s fried rice was a little too salty. Good comfort food on a chilly night in olé Hawaii Nei.

Excellent food, big potion, comfortable dining environment with a big screen TV. Highly recommend for a traditional Japanese ramen restaurant. I will be back.
