They don’t use gloves for anything… Touched the tofu with bare hands. Service was nice though and Ramen was OK. I probably won’t go back.

I love this place so much. Try their Tan tan ramen it’s so good & worth it! My cousin & I always come back for it. The service here is always great. Always filling up our water and constantly asking how we’re doing.

Plenty of food for a reasonable price! If you’re looking for a reliable ramen shop with plenty of food that’s pretty good, this is for you. The ramen combo set is a good bet.

Food is good and fast. although I would prefer to have all of my food at 1 time. I hate that everyone on the table is served at different times and that some of your order comes when you are almost done with your meal. Do not expect too much out of service. not mean or rude… just BLAH!!!

We came here a day ago for lunch with my family. I decided to not order their delicious fried rice(delicious!)(See my previous review) This time we had really great service. Despite my large family(7 children) I ordered the fried noodles and deep fried gyoza for my 4 youngest children to share. The noodles were huge and we had plenty leftover. Gyoza was crispy and seasoned well. I ordered the beef stew with white rice. It was so good!!! My husband and 2 teens ordered their regular, which is mini fried rice and chicken katsu. They love it!

Great portions on with great pricing. The broth was a touch on the salty end but my companions diluted theirs with water and the shoyu and miso broths were none worse for the wear. You can’t be the combo deal; a «mini» ramen with two choice of sides for just under $ 10 is a deal. Think of the noodle portions to be equivalent to what you would get with instant ramen. I ordered the shio broth ramen with pork fried rice and chicken katsu. They were all very enjoyable. Our party of six which included two toddlers more than enjoyed it. I would go back again if I ever get to visit family in Ewa Beach again.

I love this place, no matter where you go, they offer quick & great service. I’ve been to the Pearl City, Kapolei & Ewa Beach locations. Awesome ramen with nothing bad to say. Very polite waitresses, and great cooks. Never a let down, if you crave Japanese ramen, it is definitely way better than Top Ramen.

Each time I come into Daiichi and order my usual — fried rice and Gyoza, it is very consistent and delicious! Their portion size is pretty big, which guarantees you leaving the restaurant full and satisfied. The quantity and quality of your food is worth the affordable price that you pay for. The customer service is great, they are quick with getting your order and very efficient in filling up my drink, and asking if I needed anything. I personally love how the Gyoza sauce is on every table so it makes it more convenient for customers to have access to that instead of bugging the waitress for it. An only downfall is this location is small so moving around the tables past people is a bit hard and when they are busy expect to wait for a while.

Have you heard of the Ewa dilemma? It’s what happens to you when you’re in Ewa Beach and want to eat something but are left with nothing but fast food options like McDonald’s and Panda Express, or sub par bland fare of the strip mall variety. I didn’t think it would be a big deal when I moved to the West side, but I realized that this is a serious problem that must be solved ASAP! For the love of all that’s holy can someone open up a CPK?! The lack of quality food slowly starts to drive you crazy and you begin to rationalize that the foods not that bad. But guys, it ISTHATBAD. For you townies that are reading this, an Ewa Beach 5 star is usually equated to a town 3 ½ star. You add an extra star onto things because your brain is riddled with the madness of hunger and you’re just happy that you didn’t have to cook! Because nothing is worse than eating your crappy home cooked food and then having to do dishes… Add on the West side traffic and we’ve got an imminent disaster on our hands. If zombies start popping up in Ewa, I guarantee that this madness will have been the cause of a Walking Dead apocalypse. So yes, I dread eating lunch in Ewa, but sometimes you start to get tired of the safety of your Starbucks protein bistro box and become desperate for real food. Enter Daiichi Ramen which appeared on my Unilocal app as a 4 ½ star experience and I prayed to heaven that this would be the real deal. Well it’s 4 ½ stars for Ewa Beach! Which as I mentioned is an automatic town 3 ½. SERVICE: 5-stars /It’s a small dimly lit chain restaurant but the service was surprisingly on point. I don’t know where they got their workers from but they all seem to be foreign and dead set on giving you the best service possible. They were so on top of taking my order, bringing out my food, refilling my water and getting my check in a speedy manner that I actually started to wonder what was going on? Did I mention the restaurant was also insanely clean and organized? Yes, there’s something very fishy going on here. FOOD3 Stars: I think I totally ordered the wrong thing because my food was really bland. Zaru soba noodle and lightly pan fried gyoza. Okay so I know that soba is pretty bland in itself, but after lunch I left and ate at Starbucks because I needed some flavor on my tongue. Next time I’ll order up the curry or the croquettes, but I’m trying to eat a little cleaner and deep fried food didn’t seem like the best idea at the time. I do however appreciate the reasonable prices and that they have super cheap add ons and meal deals.

Great ramen establishment! Fast service and generous portion. Gyoza was very good, as well as katsu. Ramen broth was very good – had good richness to it but not too greasy. Lots of noodles. Happy hour(2:30 to 5?) offers free gyoza(4 pcs). What a deal!

My wife and I have tried pretty much all the eating establishments at Laulani Village Shopping Center in Ewa Beach except for this one. I suppose our trepidation was framed by our own misplaced image of dry, square, unappetizing ramen noodles being served straight out of it’s plastic wrapper… having already lived through our lean college days, we thought we’ve graduated from eating ramen. Well, after some time bashing(or trying to bash) some golf balls at the driving range, my wife and I decided to try this place for lunch… oh yeah, the coupon we received through the mail for 50% off our second entrée helped get us in their door as well. We were a bit surprised at the décor inside. We thought it would be a typical take-out restaurant with limited seating but the dining area actually looked inviting. We perused the menu(they have more than just ramen noodles by the way), and decided to order the Curry Teishoku for me(tender cubes of beef and root vegetables swimming in yummy curry sauce over rice served with gyoza and miso soup) and Gyoza Curry for my wife. Service was attentive and prompt and we both loved our meal! My wife loved the curry sauce so much she even decided to take the rice with curry sauce home in a to go bag :-) Our lunch for two came out to just under $ 14 with the 50% discount off the second meal… or just under $ 20 without the discount. Well worth it! We will be back.

Good friendly service. Pretty busy but there were seats available, no waiting. I decided on trying something new, usually I get the shoyu or lately the tan tan, but this time I tried the miso. Which was not bad. Lots of noodles, thin noodles i prefer thicker ones like the one my gf had with her tan tan. Only could finish about half, took the rest home. Overall pretty good.

Craving noodles and you’re in Ewa? Maybe you’re even craving curry and rice? Or maybe you just want a bunch of chicken Katsu and mochiko chicken. Maybe you want Gyoza instead? And I’m pretty sure you’d like it even better if the price is right?! Then look no further, your opportunity for a cheap, affordable dinner that taste good is right here. Ewa beach has grown into a variety of places to eat, and it’s awesome because driving from Ewa to pearl city or town just to get ramen has become tiresome and a waste of gas. I love the fact that they are finally making restraints more accessible in the Ewa beach area. Daiichi in Ewa beach is much bigger than the pearl city one. I can’t say much about the service because they didn’t speak very well English. They were fast and precise tho… Even on a busy day such as today… They were able to get our food to us in a matter of minutes. As long as I receive my food and it’s what I was expecting, everything else does not matter. Besides that, Daiichi has an awesome deal. For 10.00 you get a «mini ramen or mini udon» and a choice of two sides that include chicken Katsu, fish Katsu, Gyoza, croquette… And many other sides… Oh and the MINI ramen/udon is not a mini, it seems large to me! I love it because they give quite a lot for such an awesome price !!! :)

I’ve gone to several Daiichi Ramen but this is the first time I have gone to this location even though it’s been here awhile now. It’s pouring hard, sinus acting up I just had to have a good bowl of noodles to relieve my sinus if only for a little while. Mom has never been there before and I tell her we’ll split a bowl. It’s Sunday, shortly after 1pm the lunch crowd is in the midst of clearing out. Good timing for us. We are greeted as soon as the door is open, didn’t even step in yet, by the young FOB(by no means derogatory in any way) girls manning the front of the store. They are very efficient in their customer service. One girl shows us our table, while the other has already grabbed the menus and brought to us before I get my okole on the chair. I order the Char Siu Ramen and gyoza. I ask if I can have an extra bowl to share with mom. It’s no problem at all. I also order a coke against my doctor’s orders I order a coke to fight the sleepiness from my eyes. The extra bowl with fork is brought out immediately. Shortly after that the hot noodle dish is also brought. That was quick, as usual. Mom tells me she likes the broth and the noodles. Thank goodness for that. It took awhile for the gyoza to be brought out. I was alsmost done when they did. These were okay. Better tastiing with the shoyu of course. Good food, reasonably priced and fantastic customer service.

Loved this place! So many delicious ramen options to choose from. Pick your noodles, pick your broth and pick your meat. Simple! And I’m telling future customers who might be reading this right now, there ain’t nothing«mini» about the mini bowl. I got the combo meal with a mini bowl of tonkotsu and 4 gyoza and I was stuffed beyond belief. Easily some of the best ramen I’ve ever had and I used to eat a lot of this stuff in Okinawa. Fellow Unilocalers, don’t be turned off by this being an island chain restaurant! It is worth stopping in.

People don’t you hate it when you drop a Benjamin down at a restaurant and you still leave hungry? Yeah, that joint gave you some major food porn action for your eyes. Yet, a major hole in your wallet and stomach. I want real food, with real substance, that will at least hold me off until the next meal time. Daiichi Ramens portions will sustain a real mans appetite and not break your bank. My favorite combo to get is the Chicken Katsu Curry Combo. I usually get it with a ramen and 4 pieces of gyoza. The curry texture is not thick. It’s a smooth consistency that compliments the rice. The curry has big chunks of carrots and a side of red pickles. The gyoza is nicely cooked with moist flavorful meat. Service is good here. The servers always check on you. Keep your drinks filled. The down fall of this place is that they don’t always bring your tables items all at the same time. One time my wife ate all of her ramen before my curry came. Shame on her on not waiting on her husband right? Kidding. Good comfort food, good prices that will feed a manly man appetite.
