Always good! Their chicken wing are the bombdiggitty! The currys are dynamite and for the prices it’s reasonable. Although prices have gone up

New, clean, fast as ever, and yummy! They have brown rice as an option– which is ALWAYS awesome in my book. Chicken eggplant was great! Staff very nice and fast

Pork in the fried rice had porky smell and taste. The spring rolls were good while the Thai iced coffee was on point. Service sucked for we were hardly checked on.

I’ve always wanted to try this place since I’ve seen it at Nimitz, but never tried because the parking there sucks. So I was so excited to see that they opened an Ewa location! We got food served ala carte, really big portions and really flavorful. We ordered Pad Thai, Eggplant Shrimp, Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp w/snow peas, and Tom Kha Gai soup. I’m in love with the Tom Kha Gai soup, it’s a coconut milk soup that’s not too spicy and not too sour. Pad Thai is always good when i go! My sister and I really enjoy the house delight dessert. It’s warm, sweet, sticky rice with mango ice cream and peanut topping. Customer service is okay, the servers seem kind of impatient and felt rushed when I ordered. but the food comes out pretty fast!

Went in with my mom sad to say, it wasn’t what i was expecting food was bland and it wasn’t authentic at all, i just wanted to go see what the buzz was all about but i was not impressed, ill be taking my business back to royal thai garden which is also in Ewa, and even closer to my home.

THANKYOU so much for opening a location 5 minutes from our house!!! It has been a great place for our dinners during the week when traffic wore us down! Can’t believe I waited so long to post!!! Having been to other locations we have our favorites which are: papaya salad, basil chicken, red curry and pad se ew. The major and most awesome difference from the other locations is that they offer beef as a choice and their basil beef is awesome. Not sure if the other locations offer beef now since we haven’t been to the others since this one opened. The service is great and they always have the order ready when I pick it up. Still have yet to eat at the restaurant but the times I do go it is pretty busy.

Hubby and I decided to give this place a try since we are always in this area. It was the first time we heard of this place, so we expected a take-out type restaurant. We were disappointed extremely with the food we got. Chicken panang curry had so much basil, I could not taste anything else. I hate basil. Also confused by the potatoes in it. Pad Thai wasn’t anything special. Kinda bland. Spring rolls… forgettable. The place is has a nice ambiance, but it was pricey. Throughout the meal, we kept saying that Thai village in kunia was better. We still feel that way. This was our first(and last) time here. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

I had the # 14, sweat and sour pork. Very good flavor and portion. Brown rice was perfect but a little soy made it better. Others had spring rolls and chicken wings and both liked. This is the fourth time eating here but the first review, each time the food has been good and service has been great even when crowded .

I have to agree with the other Unilocalers here. very bland and dry! I ordered the Pad Thai and well if it weren’t for the wedge of lime it would have had NO flavor. I did like, however, how thinly the chicken was sliced. Service was also so-so. They young man with glasses who sat me was friendly, but the young lady who took my order was very brisk and curt.

Location/Parking: They are conveniently located in Laulani Shopping Center in Ewa Beach next to Daiichi Ramen. There is an abundance of parking at this shopping center. Food: We loved the food! We ordered spring rolls, summer rolls, yellow & green curry, pad Thai, pad se ew, papaya salad, pork & green beans dish and sticky rice. The green curry was hands down the best dish of the night. It was spicy, flavorful and we love the vegetable in it. Customer Service: I appreciate that they were able to accommodate a party of 8 on a Friday night. The food came out fast but it took a while to get refills on our drinks. We also had to ask for utensils and napkins. They didn’t give enough napkins for our big group so I had to ask for more napkins. Ambiance: I like that the restaurant is new, clean and not cluttered. Seating: The seating area is large and can accommodate a good amount of patrons. No outdoor seating area. Take Out: Take out seems to be very popular. I saw a lot of people coming by to pick up food on a Friday night. They even have a cash register area just for take out customers. Overall, I will definitely be back in the future. I hope in the future they’ll be more staff during peak hours so that way no customer’s water is empty.

Food was just alright, but not something we would suggest. Could of been our order but we’ve had better. Pad Thai was a bit on the dry side, looked life less, no color, or anything special. Hubby had the Panang curry(hot) with sticky rice. Although we finished our food it was, ehhh, alright! Would of been better if it was creamier and had more sauce… Over all if we had a Thai food craving we would go just a few minutes away to Thai Lao and just have it done right especially for the price. You would just expect more. Hopefully things get better cause it would be nice to go somewhere closer!

Bangkok chef what can I say about you. Well this location just recently opened next to Daiichi Ramen in the Laulani shopping center. Which is a great shopping center in Ewa beach btw. Parking is a breeze very big parking lot. Walked in and was greeted immediately, very clean which was nice. We ordered our usuals which consists of green chicken curry with sticky rice, chicken yellow curry with sticky rice, and pad thai. I’m not too sure if I was very hungry or if this is place is stepping up their game. But I left this place very satisfied. Everything was very good, pad thai was on point. But I just love any kind of noodles so yeah… The chicken curries were very good also, lots of veggies, not too spicy. Wasn’t too sure if we could up the spiciness but I digress. Overall I’ll come back one more time to really see if this place is really good or if I was just really hungry. Cause damn it was good.

Was REALLY craving Thai food today, decided to grab a quick bite. Service is always quick and easy when I go there. My review is based on the food. It was good, but kinda bland today… I ordered tofu pad Thai(medium spicy) and maybe they forgot to add the spice to it lol. The pad Thai wasn’t special to me. Prefer to eat my tofu pad Thai from Thai Lao in Kapolei above all else. :)

This review is in regards to takeout. Located in Laulani Village, right next to Daichi Ramen! I was always a fan of Bangkok Chef Manoa during my days at UH. I was really excited when I found out they would be opening a location here in Ewa! One thing that lost a star for me is that the prices listed on the menu/takeout menu are off by about $ 1 for each dish – that really adds up. I get that the prices are subject to change, but I feel that they need to update the listed prices ASAP out of courtesy to the customers. The pork panang curry is my absolute favorite, as well as the stir fried long rice with pork. I believe you can sub out the meat for chicken or tofu, but I’ve always liked the pork! I love that they give jasmine rice by default, or you can get brown jasmine rice(for a little more) with each plate. You can also order the dishes ala carte and get them family style(without rice) if you intend on sharing. The chicken satay is also excellent, though fairly expensive at over $ 10(it was about $ 2 cheaper when I used to get it in town). One dish I wouldn’t order again is the spring rolls. They weren’t crunchy enough and didn’t taste freshly made, and they had way too thick a layer of wrapper for my liking. In terms of taste, Royal Thai Garden a little further down in Ewa is better; however, the plate lunch style version of Thai food that you get at Bangkok Chef is still excellent and a little more affordable.

Officially on our radar of good eats. My fam and I decided to give this new location a try to see what it’s about. The food was good. Both the chicken and pork pad Thai noodle orders were delicious. Tangier than what I’m used to, but that little extra I liked! The spring rolls are your standard rolls — deep fried and yummy, nothing special. Their chicken sateh was very tender! I wasn’t fond of their thai iced coffee, but that could be me not being used to the flavor of Thai iced coffee in general.

I really tried my best to like it, but there was absolutely no flavor in the food. Also, what I found upsetting at first were that the menu prices listed were CHEAPER than what they actually charged me. I understand that the woman explained to me that they are wrong and prices have risen, but don’t you think you should put the accurate pricing on the menus instead of the old ones? Anyway, I ordered a Pad Thai noodles, which is one of my favorites. The order didn’t take too long, which was surprising. However, when I tasted the food it was too bland for me. Usually Pad Thai noodles have a bit of spice in them, but these were plain. There was also too much water crests overpowering everything else. I felt like this place serves generic Thai food. The curry didn’t have enough coconut milk or spices in it either… all I can say is I was very disappointed in the taste. I expected better because it looks like a very promising restaurant and I am also easily impressed. However, I was everything but impressed.

Another take out order. Spent $ 33 for pad thai, crispy noodles, spring roll, thai iced tea and okinawan tapioca It was okay, well, better than okay. We like our pad thai to be flavorful and it was flavored enough. crispy noodles were good but we should have gotten chicken or something because it wasn’t enough on it’s own. Spring rolls are the way we like it and the tapioca and thai iced tea was perfect. Service was great. The take out cashier was occupied by other customers but an employee saw me and assisted me. They let me pay even though food wasn’t ready. I did call ahead and they said it was a 10 minute wait but the food wasn’t ready and I had to wait 5 minutes more which is still more than acceptable. While I waited, the place looked nice and it appeared that they had two settings in place for large groups. All in all, we’d come back again if we didn’t want to make the drive to Kunia to eat a Thai Village which is a fave. Congrats on the opening, always good to have one more option in Ewa.

Did a takeout since I was I was on my 30 minute break. I work right across from it and it seemed convenient plus, I love Thai tea! They sell tapioca pudding, dishes with rice and Thai tea and Thai coffee. I ordered Phanaeng curry & a Thai tea. Total came out at 12 dollars. Which isn’t bad at all. I’d say they super generous and they said the wait would be 20 – 30 minutes but, I got my food out in at 10 minutes. It’s okay, not as good as most Thai places but, it will do.

Super clean and brand spanking new restaurant in the Laulani Village Shopping Center. All the same eats as the other Bangkok Chef chains but difference is there’s tons of parking! Inside dining area is huge and with two tables outside for outdoor dining. Food is meh… it’s like going to McDonalds or fast food joints, you know what you’re getting and not going to be picky about it. It’s «food is food and I’m „hangry“ so I need something quick and ready before I hulk out get grumpier» kinda food. It’s just ok. Service is pretty awesome here! I made a phone order and was given an estimated time of pick up — went there and got it rather quickly(without waiting). I like their spring rolls(the fried one — i get confused between the summer and spring rolls) for the dipping sauce that comes with it. I usually ask for extra sauce and greens. All in all, consistently ok food that appeases the«angry» in «hangry.»
