Akamai Detailing

Wow! My five year old minivan looks brand new! I needed a detail from years of use and abuse by me, my kids and my dog & more importantly paint over-​spray (a paint company recklessly painted a house next door and was lazy and did nothing to protect my car from the over-​spray). Akamai was able to remove all of the paint and even some cement that somehow managed to find its way on to my rear bumper (I live in a new community with lots of construction). Jake was very professional and was able to work me into his schedule, they were on time, and worked very hard to please me, which they did :). Plus they are mobile! I will definitely use them again as well as recommend to neighbors & friends.

Jake is a miracle worker. He put in some serious time on my car (a 2010 black Camaro) and completely rejuvenated my paint job. He took up some significant water spotting and car wash marking and restored it to new condition. I could not be happier with the quality of his work, and he is extremely knowledgable about products he uses. He didn’t try to jerk me around and up-​sell me into a higher-​priced plan. We picked one based on my needs. Additionally, he has local military base access and will come to your work and detail right there in the lot.
Could not possibly be happier with the level of service, overall outcome and convenience. I would highly recommend Jake to anyone on Oahu, looking to get their car (and keep it) in showroom condition.

I found Jake of Akamai Detailing on a google search. After visiting his website which was very professional and informative, I decided that I would give him a call. Jake answered his phone and explained his packages to me. Within a few days I had him come to detail my brand new 2012 Infiniti G25. I went with a full exterior/​interior package. I can’t describe how well of a job he did, so here’s a picture of his work to show you the pride he takes in his business.
Now when I drive my car, it feels so much better. There is no way I could have done this kind of detail myself, or at a car wash. I notice people turn their heads in the parking lots when my G25 is parked. Because Jake did such an amazing job and has such a professional demeanor, I signed up for his monthly maintenance plan which entitles me to 4 visits throughout the year so that my car can stay immaculate as when I first bought it.

Jake and his team are the best. He is very knowledgeable in what he does, but most importantly he pays attention to detail and is very hard working. I highly recommend Akamai Detailing. Jake and his team did an outstanding job and are very professional. Before the detail my truck was in pretty bad shape. I had just purchased it and there a lot of scratches and water stains. In less than 3 hours, they completely transformed the look of the truck. The paint looked shiny and a lot of the scratches and marks were completely gone. Their attention to detail was also very impressive– they spent 10 minutes on cleaning each induvidual wheel well. For an all around inside and out detail, these guys are the best!

Jake and his crew have been detailing my BMW for the past six months and I’ve been extremely pleased with the service! Jake always starts by carefully looking over the car and pointing out any areas that will require special attention. Then he meticulously details the car correcting any problems and leaving the car looking better than new. He pays special attention to the wheels and interior too, which are often neglected by other companies. After my first detail (and paint sealant), I decided to by a year’s worth of detailing based on the outstanding performance and outstanding customer service that Jake offered. I always carry his brochures and have recommended him to a number of friends. Everyone I’ve talked to has been extremely happy with the service too. I won’t ever use anyone else to detail my cars as long as I’m here in Hawaii. I strongly recommend Jake and Akamai Detailing to anyone who needs their car to look it’s very best!
