The UPS Store

Beware, stay away from this place. I printed 3 color pages and was charged almost 4 dollars. I used them before and didnt mine paying extra for bulk items but for a few pages? come on now! and this wasnt the only time. Might as well go to other ups stores where they are priced fairly. Just look at the reviews at the bottom, not the 5 stars as most of the time they are employee and friends reviews which are fluffed up. 1 employee wanted to charge me accordingly but the one at the register insisted that I pay the extra fee.

Locally owned store by someone who cares! I had a misunderstanding at the store yesterday and left feeling like I was taken advantage of. I got a call today from David, the owner, who cleared everything up for me and took care of the cost of the transaction to make up for the incident. I will definitely be using them again in the future and highly recommend the store for printing, packaging, supply or shipping needs!

Good staff and convenient. But charged me over $ 10 to «box» my shipment that’s already boxed and bubbled wrapped. Yes ~$ 7 that I paid for the actual box is understandable but $ 12 to put it in a box and tape it? Explanation was «paying for tape and things». Tape costs like $ 4 so did they use entire roll on my box? Hm. Pack your own things in USPS flat rate. Much cheaper.

I needed to print something quick for an event coming up. I had gone to another print center at another store (which I used to work for), but they weren’t helpful. Then I remembered this place. I found the store website online and it had this nifty estimate tool for your print jobs. I went in the next day. There were a few other people waiting in line and only one person working, but he was doing his best to get everyone squared away. I wasn’t in a hurry so I didn’t mind waiting. (I also knew what it was like to be the only person working in a print center). David helped me get set up with a computer to where I could log in to my email and get my document printed. If I remember correctly, it is $ 2.99 for 0 – 10 minutes to use the computer. Later, I looked at my receipt and saw their prices were not only cheaper than what the website quoted, but cheaper than the other print center on the same card stock!

Excellent customer service. The best I have experienced in Hawaii so far… will gladly come back and highly recommend!!!

It was Saturday afternoon and of course the post office was closed. So I decided to give this location a shot, as it was super close and convenient for me and my packages needed to go out that day. Staff was super friendly and nice but those are the only positive things I can say.
I mailed two boxes-​one small and one medium and I brought them both in, already in flat rate boxes. The medium one I hadn’t sealed so they offered to pack it for me, how nice right? Sure, until I paid. Two packages, one to Washington state and one to Arizona and it cost me $ 50. $ 50!!! I was SHOCKED. Neither package was heavy and I did not purchase any insurance or other extra. I learned that day to make sure I always make it to the post office on time. Never again.

Location make this place so convenient! Quick and easy, just pop whatever you need on a thumb drive on their computer there to make sure your document is exactly how you want it. I love how they do test prints so you can see how one turns out before printing a bunch out. You can even see how it prints of different types of paper if you want to, very helpful. I like to ship here if I’m sending something important that I don’t trust just the flat-​rate boxes at USPS. Love the staff, everything is a plus! No-​cons

The salespeople, one woman and one man greeted me with a hello and smile. I asked how much he would charge me to send a phone and it’s charger to South Carolina from Hawaii. He wanted to charge me $ 22 for a USPS flat rate box. I said thank you and went to the USPS, paid $ 6 for the same service. Tracking, 3 – 5 day ground shipping, and insurance.
Do not let anyone take advantage of you. Don’t forget to do your homework before embarking on your very first shipping adventure. Businesses have to make money but will therefore be more careful with your goods to protect their good names. We sometimes get caught up in numbers and forget that we are all human beings.

Went to drop off a prepaid package. In and out within a minute! How much faster service can you get? No line and dedicated front of the store parking. Excellent!

David and the other staff have always gone up and beyond in providing economical and great services for all my family’s needs.
The extra touch that makes it a solid 5 is that they remember names and family situations. With the volume of business they do that’s amazing. It gives it that nice touch of «they care!!!» Feeling that makes me pick them over any other option for shipping.
Oh…as I type this I see something else I need to ship to my mom… so I guess I’ll be there again soon!

Drop off location for the USPS and you can pay for your post office shipping here too. Makes it nice because you can comparison shop between UPS and USPS prices!

What do you do when your printer/​copier/​scanner does not have a FAX and nothing else will do but a faxed document? Or better yet, what do you do when when you can’t work the scanner portion of your printer/​copier/​SCANNER? I needed to fax a document quickly and I was freaking out a bit because I was nearing a deadline.
I found the neighborhood (The) UPS Store and asked for help. That’s what I did! Unfortunately I do not have access to a work office or facility where I can use the fax and scanner but luckily for me, this UPS store provides that kind of service. So that’s a plus for the multitude of humanity living on the west side of Oahu who need to fax documents or can’t work their scanner (yes, I too am rolling my eyes! Seriously… i can troubleshoot high tech equipment but I can’t work my scanner).
This place is convenient, friendly, clean, organized looking and boasts 10 minute parking spots immediately in front of the store. I thought this place was a packing store but I found out that they also provide mailboxes, printing, NOTARY services as well as the ever so popular BANNER PRINTING. I was able to get my personal business done expeditiously with the help from The UPS Store without any hiccups or delay! Such a lifesaver!
This is a family run business and everyone is very, very friendly and accommodating! (As a random note, this family was featured on Hawaii Life in their search for a home in Oahu a year or two ago. They are transplants to Hawaii and from the looks of it, they have adjusted well and living the life of «Aloha.»).

I went back to the store today for the first time since my last review. I’m glad I did! David knew exactly who I was and made sure I felt good walking out today. He took care of notary needs for me and was very quick about it. What a good man and the ladies in here are always sweet!

P. S. There are also two VERY clear signs posted by the computers now about usage and printing. Both are printed in color. This shows that David truly pays attention to what customers have to say and share. I’m impressed.

Came in for a notary and to laminate an item. The gentleman was really great at customer service. He was able to multi task and had great memory when he helping 2 – 3 clients at a time. Prices are a bit more expensive on the USPS flat rate, but it’s convenience one pays for.

I was very impressed by the service I recently received at this new UPS location. I am happy to support this local business and was treated very well by the owner David Lundstrom. The service was quick and easy.
They seem to have a large selection of products and services and a convenient location near the new Safeway.
I understand it is a family owned and operated business so I am happy to support a place that values its customers and try so very hard to please the clients! ;)

So I’ve been here twice to drop off pre paid packages. They’re always nice and answered all my questions. In and out within 5 minutes

Make sure they pack your box if you buy insurance. The small signs are off to the side where the customer isn’t looking telling you they may not accept your insurance claim if you pack it yourself. And apparently the staff never forget to tell you this. Not to mention because the corporate ups office says something, it is now the customers burden to make up for the lack of customer service in this operation. Thanks for making this potentially easy process a burden on people who don’t have a normal schedule.

I have always been given absolutely top notch service at this location. The staff is so friendly, accommodating, and well versed in their work. I have nothing but good things to say about this location.
