This was a bitter bean to swallow. My family arrived on a weekend afternoon. All we wanted were some drinks to quench our thirst. What we got, however, was a bad experience. First, one of my family members ordered a drink on the menu, and after her ordering with no problems, the worker tried to dissuade her from getting it. Secondly, a drink that was shown on the menu wasn’t actually available, as it was a summer flavor. The flavor of the drinks were okay, but the struggle to get them were more than necessary. I wouldn’t go out of your way to try it.

Tazza is not how it used to be! Richard was a the best barista there. Very friendly and polite. The«Chai Charger» is my favorite drink there. They don’t make it how Richard used to! Bring him back!!!

Cute and pleasant café with a unique selection of pastries and breakfast items. We had a multigrain croissant(never heard of such a thing!) and apple cinnamon yogurt parfait. I didn’t get to try the coffee though. Loved the outdoor seating and staff is friendly!

Love getting my morning lattes and chais here. Service is quick and friendly, espresso is better than any chain. I don’t bother with food past the occasional granola bar as it seems like it would be over priced and underwhelming. Stick with the coffee drinks and you can’t go wrong. One thing I’d like to see is some cold brew iced coffee, which I’m fairly sure they don’t offer. Why, I have no idea.

Large coffee with 2 shots of espresso and a donut was $ 6 — pretty standard. Coffee was average and donut was heavy but not greasy. I did notice 2 flies, one on the menu board/one walking on the lamp hanging from the ceiling but I’d come here again.

The coffee is steaming hot, but you don’t get a warm feeling walking into this café. A nice sunny, but cool day begs for sitting outside, but only three small tables did not provide anywhere near enough seating on the patio that could have easily accommodated more. My first intention was to get a coffee and something light to eat for lunch, but glancing at their offerings at the counter, the sandwiches seemed skimpy and unimaginative, I’ve seen better offerings at gas stations. The day was way to nice to spend it indoors, and since none of the food appealed to be, I took a latte to go. The coffee was good, and quickly served up hot. I wasn’t far from the service counter, nor was anyone else really in the store, but still the server behind the counter felt the need to shout out«latte» like a short order cook bustling out a dozen different items. There is no personality or warmth to the place, so aside from being someplace to get a decent coffee, there is nothing that sets this place apart from dozens of other coffee houses, and the overall feel seems generic.

I’d like coffee to be more robust. it’s somewhat lacking in flavor. Sometimes it’s better than other times which is not good. it’s too exspensive when u get a bad mocha. I see the overall reviews r just okay… maybe owners can make upgrades in quality?

I went to Tazza on Jan 1st. The person name Educador was very rude. The manager was not there, otherwise I would talked to the manager. I would not go back there anymore.

Coffee is good here, they also sell whole beans to take home w/several different varities to choose from. They also have your typical lattes and such, if you‘re into that sort of thing. Décor and furniture is nice, by all means a good place to read the paper with your coffee or tea What I would really like to see Tazza do is lower their pastry prices. The prices they charge on that end of their menu are crazy expensive. Muffins for $ 3.50…I could get 3 muffins at most markets for the same price and they taste just as good. The croissants are also priced similarly and nothing special. So, unless they cut those prices in half, I would suggest eating at home or local deli before you stop here.

Tazza is a Starbucks knockoff in terms of look and feel as well as menu, though they do serve better coffee. Service was friendly and the interior clean, modern and bright. Not a bad place to pull off 684 for a cup of Joe to keep you awake on the expressway. However, I have to admit that I would not have come in here had I first seen Allen P.‘s April 2013 review, as nothing is more disrespectful in my opinion than short-sighted people who use such poor judgement with our soldiers. I hope that person is no longer working there.

This place needs a review from someone more local, clearly! We arrived at Tazza Café on the recommendation of a store owner down the street — we were delighted to have the most delicious ice latte and hot coffee with a triple shot of espresso … nice, clean décor, nice looking pastries and sandwiches which I will try next time. Super friendly service. So much better than Starbucks … and I’m a Starbucks fan!

Instead if offering to sell additional coffee/drinks, the manager kicked seven soldiers out of «his» store because seats were for«paying customers.» Mind you, three of seven bought drinks and more would have. The shop was not overflowing with patrons, maybe half full. I could understand if we were taking seats and decreasing business. Horrible experience.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a nice place. Nice interiors, seating, décor, etc. but at the end of the day, it’s about the coffee for me. I ordered a large dark roast and was given the French Roast. However, when I took my 1st sip I realized it had the hints of a flavored coffee. No problem, I walked up to the counter and the employee poured a new one no questions asked. Nice. However, it was the same coffee. So no mistake was made. The storage containers were being used for other coffees and were now cross contaminated with flavored coffees. Bummer. Real bummer. I will try them again next time in town because as I said, it’s a nice place with good service.

As we walked in the door, we were greeted by the young women working in the store with smiles and loud(but not too loud) «Hello“s! The coffee was hot, fresh and tasty. As was the hot chocolate. The young woman behind the counter actually made eye contact(a rarity these days, anywhere!) with me and thanked me for my purchase. I walked out happy and will walk the extra few blocks from the train station to get coffee again next time. Thank you for great service, Tazza. It’s hard to come by!
