If I could rate this place a zero I would!!! A friend and I went in looking for a pedicure and all the ladies were rude! As we walked in they started laughing making us uncomfortable and hackling! Did mention that were men! I’ve never felt so embarrassed by the unnecessary attention given to us. Never will I step into this business again and I don’t encourage others to stay away!

New to town, I was searching for a CND certified salon for Shallac Nails and tried out Augusta. The atmosphere is spa-like: calming, friendly, and client-focused with soothing music and thoughtful interior. The price was an excellent value and comparable or less than other salons using Shallac. Tiffany did an amazing job on my manicure and Mary was equally great with the pedicure. The search is over, so happy to have found Augusta!

$ 30 for a shellac manicure and the brand they used isn’t great. I feel like I spent too much money for a very poor quality manicure. I’m not happy.

This is the best nail place ever! If you like nail dip, go see Crystal! For pedicure or manicure, Doris, Mai, Tiffany, or Christina! Also Julie does very good eyelash extensions and Mary does eyebrows very well! I like the atmosphere and the fact that they don’t have the typical nail salon smell. The owners are very sweet and everyone named above is super friendly :)

I’ve been coming to Augusta for my manicure and pedicure for years. I used to work in Sugar Land and would frequently try different nail salons there out of convenience during my lunch hour and have never been as satisfied going any other place. Every time I’m here I opt for the basic manicure and pedicure which is done at a very reasonable bundle price of $ 35. Everyone is exceptionally courteous — I’m always offered cold water and they even have wine if you ask for it. The location is nice, the interior is welcoming and clean(although they have plenty of throne chairs for some reason) but overall it’s a very nice atmosphere with nice people and lots of choices in nail polishes. I always leave here satisfied. Thanks!

They are good when you want to do healthier nails. They use a dip with less chemicals. But customer services is lacking. I have walked in twice and have been turned away because they don’t have someone who does the work or because they don’t want to stay to make money. Whatever the reason I will no longer be a customer.

I’ve been going to this place since I was a teenager, I’ve seen it through different décor and owners and staff. What Augusta is now, is probably the best I’ve ever seen it. They have great service, and a wide variety of gels and powders. This is my go to place for my nails and waxing!

THEWAITINGROOMISFULLOFTHRONES! I got my eyelashes done here. I had to wait for about 15 min even though I had an appointment. When the tech got there she explained that she was running late bc of her kids. That is completely understandable and she did an excellent job on my eyelashes! She was quick(about an hour) and went out of her way to make it painless and comfortable! The bed was amazingly soft! My eyelashes look amazing! They are super soft and the price was relatively cheaper than the big lash salons around!

So disappointed I’ve been a client here for years. Today I went for Mani/Pedi. It wasn’t overly busy yet the manicure is nothing short of terrible. One tech started my hands then passed me back to the gal doing my toes. I was told«your dry» and rushed out. Of coarse they weren’t dry and now a mess. I doubt I’ll be going back here again.

Ladies ever wonder what those annoying nail salon ladies are talking about? You’re right, they’re talking smack about you as soon as you complain. The tech made my shellac too thick so she soaked my fingers in acetone and sanded down my nails. I pulled my hands back and said it hurt. The women immediately started saying in vietnamese that I was difficult as though I have not seen my lover for a while! I played along and pretended I didn’t understand because it was amusing. The next day my nails started to peel so I came in and the ladies told one another they didn’t want to deal with me so they were taking turns fixing my nails so I spent an hour waiting. Never will return!

They got us in right away which was nice but nothing else was great. The price for a pedicure was $ 25 and a shellec manicure was $ 30. The pedicure was ok she really didn’t work on the bottom of my feet for long at all. My big toes are chipped two weeks later. The manicure started off well but didn’t end so well. She missed the edges of my thumb and the tops weren’t painted all the way. One finger got smudged and not fixed.

I started going to Augusta when I moved to Katy over a year ago. I’ve never been disappointed, they take a lot of pride in the work they do. It’s also best to go there when you’re not in a hurry because they do a very thorough job.

SAVEYOURMONEY! I was far from my side of town and had to look for a place in Katy. I’m disappointed with the staff and I won’t be coming back. First, the man working there offered everyone something to drink except me. Second, I over heard the man and woman next to me ask for the mani pedi prices, to which the lady said $ 25. When I check out it was a total of $ 75($ 35 for mani pedi, $ 5 to take off fake nails and $ 35 for a face wax). The fact that they are shady and lied to me about one price makes me think that the face wax was over charged as well. The only reason this is getting one star is because Doris did a good job on my toes, but the rest was ok, I had to come home and pluck a lot of hairs she missed. They should be ashamed for over charging.

I was a little disappointed how much I paid. I got powder nails and a pedicure. In total I paid $ 70. The service was not bad and my nails look nice but I’ve been to nicer salons that do beyond amazing pedicures for only $ 30. Also the powder red she helped me chose doesn’t look red it’s more like an orange and that is my biggest pet peeve when my nail color doesn’t match my toes. Overall service not bad but I’ve been to nicer places with slightly cheaper prices and waaaaay better service.

I just started going here… so far, Tammy is my favorite tech… she’s not as prone to gossiping as the others and I like that a lot(nail spas should be a haven, not a place for gossiping nail techs) on my last visit this past Friday, I got a regular mani($ 15) and a signature pedi($ 35 and includes a mask, scrub, hot towels, paraffin wax, and hot stones) — loved it! there were a few walk-ins while I was there and they were able to accommodate, with less than a 10 min wait… not bad right? a lot of some get the«dip» so I asked about what that was. apparently it’s where they layer your nail with this gel/powder substance and it keeps your manicure in place for at least 3 weeks… it’s for $ 30 I will definite be back and may even try the dip!

I continue to go to this salon because it is near my house; however, the services always seem to change. Today, for example, I was there for a mani/pedi. The mani did not include cuticle oil, buffing, massaging or lotion. When I inquired as to why, the manicurist tapped my arm and started laughing! I honestly think she forgot. The quality of what took place was equally awful. I had paint on my palm, the top of my hand and my fingers. I had to ask that it be removed. The lady also tore my cuticle and caused it to bleed. I’m not sure I can continue to go back with the care I received today.

Love thr powder manicure, will definitely go back for that but the staff could be a little nicer. I showed up for my appointment on time and they acted like I was crazy and I waited 20 minutes so a walk in could grt finished up.

Love this salon. The staff is warm and friendly. They specialize in powder or dipping manicures, an alternative to shellac or acrylic. I prefer powder manicures because there’s no drying under uv lamps. The powder dries on its own under 5 minutes. They have a wide variety of powder colors, many quite shiny and fun. In terms of pedicures, when I’m feeling in need of a lil TLC, I go for the signature pedicure which includes a warm rock foot and leg massage. Heavenly!
