Best Donuts

Pretty good. Their plain glazed doughnut is really good, so that kind of elevates everything else that uses it for the base.

Love this donut place! We go there every Saturday ! I love their breakfast, my kids love the donuts here! I like this place better than shipleys! Definitely recommended !!

This place is hands down my favorite donut store in Katy. The ham and cheese kolaches are pillows of yuminess. They even make venison kolaches! They are extremely friendly, and welcoming.

Today was my 1^st time coming to Best Doughnuts. The staff members are very friendly and welcoming. The doughnuts, breakfast croissants and kolaches are fresh and delicious. They are worth a visit.

I’ve been coming to this donut shop since I was in kindergarten! Nothing compares to their donuts! The glazed are not too sweet. I find that Krispy kreme actually makes my teeth hurt! These however do not! I don’t live in town anymore but I visit frequently and every time I come here! The staff are so friendly all the time! And yes it is true get there early if you want a specific type. This place is so popular they sell out early. But it’s so worth it! My favorite are the chocolate with sprinkles.

I really love this place! Best old fashion donuts & amazing kolaches!
We have been going here for years and even after moving about 15 miles away we still make it over to Best Donuts frequently.
The very best part about this little place is the SERVICE!!!

I wanted to bring breakfast into the office and decided to give this place a try– very bad decision!
They open at 6:00 am which they did. Problem was there was not a single donut available. Really??? At 6 am when you open???
They told me that nothing would be available for another 25 minutes. And even then it may have been only one type.
I had to then head over to another donut place… the whole thing put me behind schedule and I was late getting in. What a waste of time.

Nice local shop, very friendly staff. I was wavering between 3 and 4 stars, but the great customer service earned the 4^th. The shop is not super fancy, but worth the visit. I walked in and was immediately greated by the woman behind the counter (she may have been the owner I suspect) she took the time to describe the different kinds of doughnuts to me, since I asked about all the flavors on display. They looked good, but I was secretly hoping there would be more of the cake type doughnuts, but there was only the blueberry (which was great tasting by the way… and made me really wish there were more flavors of that type of doughnuts). They did have several other kids of doughnuts and they were quite good. The ones I liked best was a filled doughnut with Bavarian cream, and the maple glazed doughnut! Absolutely good, and a must order. The plain glazed was also very good, not greasy or oily. The prices here are affordable so, no excuses… stop by, and support this awesome local business!
Note to the Owner: I hope you consider adding to the cake type doughnut selection. The blueberry is awesome, I’d like to taste more :) maybe something seasonal?

Kept it simple and got some coffee and donuts. Liked what I got and will surely be back to try some other stuff.

I’m glad I stopped by this place after a recommendation from my daughter. The croissants with egg, cheese, bacon or sausage are so good. The people who work there are great and super friendly. I will absolutely stop by there soon.

I really enjoyed the donuts I picked up this morning. I chose to try this shop out on the weekend, because I read they don’t have very much of a selection on weekdays. I arrived at 8 ish and they had a great selection to choose from. I brought a cake donut and old fashion which was very moist not dry like some places can be. I tried there boudin kolache and while it was good I don’t think I would get it again and unless I was craving it. Great donut place overall I can see why the reviews are so great. Also the prices won’t break the bank.

These definitely are the best donuts!
I go maybe once a week in between classes at HCC and oh my god they are so delicious. I am a huge fan of blueberry donuts and here they are amazing! They also have really tasty breakfast sandwiches and kolaches. The employees here a very very nice too, super easy to start conversations with too and always uplifting with a smile even really early in the morning. Overall this place is killer for donuts and pretty inexpensive too!

If you want a larger selection I would say come early. They only had jalepeno sausage and cheese kolache when we got here 10:30.
The breakfast sandwhich was pretty good.
The blueberry donuts are very good.
And the iced donut with sprinkles was good.

I originally went to try their boudin kolaches but they were sold out when we arrived around 11. I ended up trying the venison kolaches and they were pretty good! I was very surprised that they put so much sausage in
such a small kolache! My husband and daughter had the donuts and they were also pretty good. Their cakes donuts are delicious. I stole a bite of my hubby’s. We’ll definitely be making the drive for this place even though we live near a Shipley’s.

The best blueberry donuts.

We made a special trip out of our way to find the Best donut shop at 9:00 on a Sat morning. They had just run out of glazed donuts and weren’t even working on a new batch. Really. Last time we come to Worst Donuts.

The donuts were fresh and good as were the kolaches. We got there at 7am Saturday and I was disappointed that the selection wasn’t plentiful like the other reviews said. It was limited, cases were empty. I gave it four stars for that reason– I passed about 10 donut stores to get to this one for limited selection and apple fritters weren’t even made yet. Bummer. Unlike other reviewers, we weren’t offered to have one freshly made. Maybe we should go later in the morning so they’ve had time to make the rest of the donuts.

This place is great! We’ve always gone to SHIPLEY’S donuts, but on a whim we tried this place and it was awesome!
Great people working there (probably owners) and their variations on donuts are really cool (my 5 year old daughter loves picking out the donuts because of the various ways they decorate them).
Great donuts, apple fritters and kolaches!
