Also, sometimes you just want to get rid of things that no longer serve a purpose for you, or whatever the case may be. In steps the pawn shop. The pawn shop is truly a place where one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. That and also where every crack head that steals things trying to get money to score their next hit goes!
In today’s world of on the go technology, and up to the minute updates on everything, any person with a Smartphone quickly can become the enemy of a pawn shop owner. No longer are the days of people not knowing the value and pricing of an item brand new and theorize a value for a used good. With that in mind, many shops will put their pricing a little higher knowing that you are coming in to haggle.
These shop owners are nice and inviting. At no time did they seem to want me out of the store, nor did they seem to watch me no matter where I went. As a matter of fact, these guys went beyond the call of duty to show me features for many things that I stared at for an extended period of time. This is a newer business, so of course they don’t have much in there yet, but they do have plenty for you to see. There is much musical related stuff that ranges from musical instruments to audio equipment for your vehicle. There are many types of video gaming systems with many accessories. Someone already had to pawn an IPhone 4, along with various other phones. Cameras of many varieties line their shelves along with different cool looking knives. I only saw a bb gun, but I am sure there are weapons in the place as well. There is a really good deal going for DVDs, especially if you just are looking for standard definition DVDs. Of course there seemed to be a multitude of laptops and electronic readers. Also, there is a small selection of jewelry for those who want to bling on a budget!
All in all, this place serves its purpose. Make sure that if you find something that you like, you can pull up that item on your phone to compare pricing to a new one. This will automatically make them have to lower the price to keep you interested. The customer service is a 5 star rating. Merchandise is about a 3 star rating just because of them not having much. There are good deals on good products in the store. They did mention that they even offer layaway for those who want it now and just doesn’t have the cash now. I will be nice and let them have the 4 star rating… for now!
