Great Southwest Equestrian Center

Beautiful horses for show only. Friendly staff, but when I ask for horseback riding, rhey say they do not offer any lesson or horseback riding since nineteen ninety some year. Over fifteen years is a long time, who send all these false information on Unilocal?!Or just never bothered to check

Can not say enough good things about the people that run/​own Great Southwest! I have been showing there for more than 20 years and they do a great job of putting on shows, even more so now!
This is the third time I have had to evacuate my horses. The first time was just for a few days because of possible flooding (didn’t happen), the second time was after Hurricane Ike. We had to move 15 horses for 3 months! They were so great to us. This time I had to move 27 horses because of flooding. They have been so accommodating. It is so nice to know there are people out there that care about us as owners, and understand the massive undertaking this is. And don’t take advantage of the situation.
Sean, Amy, Carlos and all the men and women who work there have been nothing but helpful! Even something so simple as letting us use their jumps is such a blessing.
If you ever have an emergency this is the place to call.
Also, if you have never shown there… you should! They have done a spectacular job of beautifying the facility and creating such a great place for the horses.

Very nice facility. I loved the lessons that are available for my daughter. We have been looking for a place for her to get equestrian lessons. Beware: the lessons are customized and they aren’t a bargain.
