Exceptionally good. I’ve been looking for a Sushi Restaurant around Katy after we moved from Galleria Area and I found it. Their Sashimi tower is to die for!

Decent sushi, horrible service. Don’t come on your lunch break… you’ll never get back to work on time.

Best sushi with a very reasonable price. You can order half roll instead of the whole roll of sushi, that way you can order more variety with the same price. The owner/manager is a very nice person. Sushi chef, Edi, always provide excellent customer service.

It was dead on a Tuesday night, but that was OK by us! We had some fantastic sushi and sashimi. Everything was delicious and artfully prepared. We will definitely be back!

Great service! The sushi is decent, much better than the ones I have tasted so far in Houston metro! We ordered off the cheat sheet where you put your down with a pencil, and off the regular menu. The ocean roll was delicious but too delicate to hold together after a soya sauce dip! The spicy taco crunchy role tasted differently, it was hard to say if it was good or bad! We are it all though. The pickle roll was the best value and tasted yummy! Overall, good experience and worth the money. Going to come back soon!

My family goes to this location so often to get our order togo. And this will be my last time visiting this location. How can you possible make any sushi order and completely omit the WASABI on the order. We get home and no Wasabi — I called back and talked to the manager to explain what happened and all they offered us was to come back to get it. I mean seriously how do you prepare sushi and not put any wasabi and then horrible customer service when I can and report the issue to you. We Will not be returning as this isn’t the first time that you have forgotten something on our order.

Went her for the first time in the way to a movie so time was important. Our service was really good and the waiter was very likable. I really wish my review was better. I do not like muddy sushi, not do I like shin in my sushi and rolls. We could not Finnish our food and that never happens.

Hello, my name is S and I’m a sushi snob. I admit it. And I’ve been DYING(ok, not really dying but the oh-lord-I-miss-my-sushi-places) for good sushi ever since we moved to Katy. We’ve done take out and eat-in. During the eat-ini experience we started with a shrimp tempura(gets a 5 stars), gyoza(4 stars, mostly for the sauce but they were inconsistently fried) and a beef entrée(4.5 stars). Both had friendly service, were quick on the requests and overall gave a nice experience for local sushi. Pro’s: — extensive menu options — great non-sushi items(even a kobe burger which no one had but my Love is going to try if we take him here again as a non-fish eater) — quick and friendly service — clean and well-maintained facility — decent sake Con’s: — OCTOPUSSASHIMIWASFROZEN, NOTFRESH(reason #1 for the 3 rating) — you have to ask for the«standard» menu(you know, those basic rolls like spicy tuna, cali, and crunch) — I had to ask for 2 clean plates(reason #2 for the 3 rating) as some on our table were less than sparkling — only decent sake — a little pricey, but not much, if you don’t want the plethora of rolls that have shrimp tempura I think, maybe, this is as good as it gets for sushi in Katy… although Oishi just opened a place here…

This location is a lot better than the one on fry. The sushi chef is better here! I usually order the tempura udon soup and the fried soft shell crab which is delicious! Would highly recommend

4.1 stars I’d give it. They’re great for rolls and hot items like yakitori and udon and stuff. Delicious. They have so many rolls to pick from its actually overwhelming The Sashimi is good, I feel it may be slightly over priced. But they do always have a good selection like unagi and Uni and yellow belly and salmon belly Sake is nicely priced and the service is good. It’s the best sushi in Katy I’d say. Parking can be challenging because of all the surrounding restaurants, I’d recommend parking in the rear of the building.

This is my first time my girlfriend and I have been here. I’m usually not a fan of Asian food and or sushi. However, this place is pretty darn good! Got the shaggy roll and the cowboy roll which are really flavorful and tasty. Miso soup was excellent as well. Average prices for sushi as rolls are around $ 10-$ 13 for the 8 – 10 big pieces. We will return!

I go to Nagoya every few weeks. I’ve always had great experiences at this location. The S Fry location, not so much. The service is always great, my food has always been high quality, and I’ve never had a bad experience here. Their rolls are sometimes poorly rolled, or the rice is too soft perhaps, I’m not sure, but here and especially the Fry location, the rolls sometime fall apart. This doesn’t bother me much, because every item is a dollar or two cheaper than competitors with a similar quality. Will be back. :)

Udon– soup is too plain and noodles are over cooked Sashimi– doesn’t taste fresh, mushy texture Sushi– odd taste, overly soft rice and very little stuffing Don’t waste your time and money here. Regrets.

Went for dinner with a friend. Food is yummy, service is nice, and casual atmosphere and high-seated booths make Nagoya a great place for conversation. The selection of rolls is pretty overwhelming, and after awhile, it’s pretty hard to differentiate between them. I ended up just copying my friend and getting a large red dragon roll. It’s a tempura-fried roll with seared tuna, avocado, snow crab, spicy mayo, and other yummy ingredients I don’t quite remember. It was my first time having a warm sushi roll, but I loved it! It was very fresh and tasty, and as someone who prefers warm food, I enjoyed it even more so than some of the regular rolls I’ve had elsewhere. I didn’t even need to dip in soy sauce because the roll was flavorful enough as it was. Giving it 4 stars because although yummy, it’s not the BEST sushi I’ve ever had. Really decent for a casual sushi joint in the ‘burbs though. Can’t wait to come again and try their other myriad rolls.

I’ve been to a lot of sushi places in my life, and for the price I paid here, the sushi is great and very filling! My staple is the Winter Sonata roll, which is a fried salmon roll, and it is extremely tasty. The rolls have a great ration of rice to filling, and the sticky rice isn’t chewy, like it is at other places. The balance of sweetness to savory is also spot on. I love to order eel sauce on the side, which is a personal choice, but makes tempura rolls so yummy! The rolls are also well-sized, and one large roll is definitely enough to fill up anyone’s belly. If you haven’t been here, go!

I think this place is pretty decent. I came Sunday evening and my family and I were the only people here, it was super empty. There were soo many options to choose from I didn’t know where to start. They have only a few basic rolls vs. the large selection of specialty rolls which kind of seemed all the same to me lol Tempura udon(3⁄5) — was ok but wouldn’t order again, broth could use more flavor, shrimp coating was too much and shrimp inside was thin True love roll(3⁄5) — was also ok but wouldn’t order again. I don’t like ordering rolls with soft shell crab inside, it gives it a «fishy» smell and taste which I hate. My husband ordered this randomly Shrimp tempura roll(2⁄5) — it wasn’t terrible but it didn’t taste«good» and I didn’t like it. The crunchy flakes taste stale and old, wasn’t crunchy and the roll itself was just too basic for me Upside down roll(4⁄5) — I liked this one, it was big and wasn’t packed with a lot of rice although the rolls kept falling apart, I did think it tasted good 3 stars isn’t bad! I mean everything seemed good so I’ll definitely be back to try more

The waiter is Japanese! The menu has a description that gives prices for half roll or whole roll, no prices listed for hand roll. They also offer brown rice as substitution. Dirty Harry roll –soft shell crab is my favorite so I’ll definitely eat it! This roll was rather pleasant for me. I liked how they don’t use tons of rice. It does have this sweet sauce, taste like sweet soy. I didn’t like the sweet sauce so next time I’ll go without it! Spider hand roll –it was missing something, but overall it was good, it also had the sweet sauce in there. Idk why, it doesn’t belong in there, so next time I’ll opt out of that sweet sauce. Mango sorbet –I have no idea why they added chocolate to it, but it was okay. Didn’t really compliment the flavor though. So may want to ask them to NOT put any on it. They don’t keep your water full, so when you see them ask them to refill it. I gave this place 4 stars because the benefits outweigh the things I don’t like. I’ll be returning! Other notes: Women’s bathroom only has two stalls!

It’s been three years since my original review and we’ve been back several times since then. I think today was the last straw. Sashimi Tower: 2⁄5 — the fish was VERY stringy. I had to spit out a few pieces. My husband had the same issue. There were very large cuts of fish that appeared to be scraps from the way they were shaped. Several pieces would be an inch thick and had a tail that thinned out at the end. Amigo Roll: 2⁄5 — more stringy fish and the pieces were cut unevenly. It was an overall mess. Yellowtail in Ponzu Sauce: 3⁄5 — the flavor was good. The fish cuts were very messy — different widths. Instead of the thinly sliced yellowtail with paper-thin slices of jalapeño slices on top — you received varying sizes of yellowtail with chopped jalapenos on top. This isn’t salsa. You don’t sprinkle chopped jalapenos on this dish. Part of eating Japanese food is the artistry and all of the food here lacks that. If you’re looking for a quick bento box with fried food, soup, and a salad, this is your place. If you’re looking for quality cuts of fish and rolls, you need to travel a bit inside the Houston city limits. Service was incredibly slow. I would not recommend coming here on your lunch break from work.
