Great food. I only had an issue once with the consistency of the spinach artichoke dip. But every time I order food it’s perfect. Try their fish and chips! Drinks are great and very friendly staff.

Dropped by Perry’s piano bar a couple of Saturdays ago for a chocolate martini to celebrate a friends birthday. Assistant General Manager, Courtney Chatman made it very special by bringing out a small dessert plate that was just perfect. This is what you call customer service! Thank you so much.

Just got done with lunch with the family. We first sat in the lounge area and the service was poor and asked to move to the main dining. Spoke with hostesses and we were able to move to the main dining area. We ordered the large sea food tower and the lobster was rubbery and fishy. We also ordered the pork chops and it was over cooked. The kids meals were great, the tomato basil and burger was awesome! We’ve had such great experiences at other perry’s and this one was definitely not to par. Service and food was lacking — very disappointing especially with the prices you pay to come here.

Perry’s is a favorite. I would usually come here either on a Friday(for the Pork Chop) or on special occasions. On these days they offer goooood prices. :) Make sure you come for lunch at least once on a Friday. :) I love their Sunday specials as well. Its a perfect combo of salad, meat, and delicious desserts.

We felt rushed, our waiter was condescending and irritating. The Ribeye was very tough and difficult to swallow. The calamari was excellent. The waiter who presented all the vegetable dishes made sarcastic comments regards running out of doggy bags.(I ordered 6 different side dishes as I had 3 teenage boys who eat like horses) We chose to not eat desert after watching waiters clean the restaurant around us . Have spent thousands at this place and I will never return.

Hands down the Best Pork Chop I’ve ever had. Perry’s has excellent steak, but the lunch chop is amazing, from price to taste! Their bread and butter is simple, but warm to perfection. I’ve down graded from a 5 to a 4, only because the increase in price. This baby was once only $ 11.99(heaven).

What can I say that hasn’t already been said about how wonderful the pork chop is? It’s tender, flavorful, and the portion is plenty. For me the apple sauce seals the deal. Ventured out and tried the brusell sprouts this time — oh my. Craving them as I type this. Staff was very helpful and present to our table too.

We love coming here and so do the kids. The service is usually great! The food excellent. We always get the filet and pork chops. The siracha Brussel sprout were awesome. At times, the service has been slow.

Tried the Pork chop lunch portion, 16 oz. of meat. Not as big as dinner portion which is 2x bigger. Order a side of the lemon fried asparagus, with lump of crab, as usual this did not disappoint. Only gaffe was server put in asparagus side order as appetizer so the side came before entrée. Management apologized and was very professional in taking care of the oversight. Otherwise good quick lunch!

I rarely give 5 stars but on this occasion it was well deserved. Seated right away. Waiter was very attentive. We started with the small seafood tower — very good oysters, lobster, shrimp, and delicious crab. The sourdough bread was very tasty. The wife had the French Onion Soup — she mentioned it was excellent. My friend and I had the signature pork chop. This is my go to dish for my birthday at Perry’s. We had their signature asparagus and Lyonnaise potatoes. Both excellent. They brought me out a sampler dessert platter consisting of truffle, crème brûlée and cheesecake. We also had a D’angelo dessert– flaming pecans and brown sugar over white chocolate rolled ice cream. Finished with coffee.

I absolutely love Perry’s. No matter which location you go to, the experience, service, and food is always phenomenal. Recently came here to this location for the first time since moving to Katy. My boyfriend got us reservations for Valentine’s Day. We had the special course that day. Before our course came out we ordered calamari. It came out surprisingly decorated unlike most normal plain calamari entrees. It was bomb. After we finished our appetizer, our plates were cleared and our soups and salads came out. The lobster bisque was really flavorful. When the steak came out next, my taste buds almost died in an explosion of flavors. It was great. Lastly, I had cheesecake and my boyfriend has the dessert trio which consisted of cheesecake, crème brûlée, and a little chocolate cake ball. Easily the best cheesecake we have ever had! Great dinner hotspot, will hopefully return back soon !

So I’ve eaten at Perry’s downtown and in the Energy Corridor many times, but this was my first visit to this location. We came at around 1130am on a Friday for the pork chop lunch special and the grilled salmon. The good: — Bartender started out strong by making sure my and my wife’s double whiskeys were really good pours. Nice drink. –That’s it… Seriously :( The bad: — We never spoke to the bartender again. He seemed busy and stayed at the other end of the bar. Never came back. — 20 minutes later our drinks were basically gone, we had no bread yet, and no food… Still no one had checked on us. — finally we got our food and bread at the same time about 30 minutes in. My pork chop was so over cooked that I couldn’t get about half of it down. It was like eating either a way over cooked pork chop or a way undercooked pork bbq. Soooo dry. — my wife’s salmon was OK. She was a little frustrated that the bartender said it was wild but it was clearly farmed. When we were getting the check I asked the girl who brought it if she had eaten the pork chop before. She said yes and I said me too and that it’s normally really good… But look at this. Look how over cooked. She got huffy and just looked at me blankly. I left a very small tip with a note about the service and food. Will not be revisiting this location.

My wife and came here for a lunch date and got the Friday pork chop special. The food, as always, was amazing and prepared to perfection. But what really made the occasion special was our server, Lee. This gentleman really understands how to provide excellent table side service. He was attentive without constantly hovering over our shoulders. My wife and I never lacked for a drink and he made a good number of passes to make sure that the food was to our liking. Overall we had an excellent meal and will be coming back soon.

My wife and I decided to go to Perry’s in Katy for our 29th wedding anniversary dinner on the high ratings from a friend, unfortunately what we experienced was less than stellar. The service was 8 or of 10, the kitchen was kinda slow, we expected better for for the price. for the appetizer’s my wife got the fried asparagus with crab meat and i got the scallops wrapped in bacon. the fried asparagus were good but the crab meat was the best part of it, some of the asparagus was just stringy and uneatable; scallops wrapped in bacon had a fishy taste to them an needed salt and pepper, funny thing was if you took a bite of the scallop and asparagus together they were good! for our entrée we decided on the special witch was Surf & Turf Filet wrapped in bacon with either crab meat or shrimp with asparagus, i got the shrimp and asked to have the filet cooked to med rare, the the cook on it was spot on however the outside was burnt and made it look almost uneatable, it was defiantly not melt in your mouth, my wife asked to have hers med, well and her’s was not good, in addition to the burned look(yuck) it had several fat lines it in that made it chewy, the highlight for her entrée was the crab, it was awesome. For dessert we received a kind of 3 sampler thing for free because of our anniversary. Yea we were not impressed, for the cost of the food(fine dinning) we expect A-LOT BETTER. i give the food a 3. After finishing our meal we looked at each other and said we should have gone to Texas RoadHouse

The food here is good. The pork chop and bananas foster are AMAZING! I can’t say the same about the sides… We ordered the asparagus and potato au gratin. The asparagus was dripping in grease, literally and the potato au gratin had so much salt(I think they used garlic salt) that it was pretty much inedible. Disappointing to be perfectly honest. The staff are very friendly and attentive, with the exception of some of the hostesses. Juan, the guy who made our bananas foster, was very sweet. Overall, I might be back on occasion, but not as frequently as I thought.

Perry’s is probably one of the more reliable«franchise’s» in the city. I have been to the Sugarland, Memorial City and Clear Lake versions of this restaurant and have never reviewed them which in retrospect is a mistake since they each would have received 5 stars and rave reviews. In point of fact this is about the 4th time I’ve been to the Katy location however what brings me to this review is that for the 1st time ever in my experience Perry’s was disappointing on this particular evening. Let me start at the beginning however so that the review is balanced and the 4 Stars in perspective. We walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night and the hostess found us bar seating immediately. Given the quality of Perry’s and the fact that it was Saturday evening her offer was gladly and promptly accepted. As we sat someone brought us water and a waitress took our drink order. The Martini was perfectly prepared, dry and chilled. Calamari appetizers were perfect as always and the Pork Chop absolutely phenomenal. So what was the problem? Banana’s Foster was ill prepared, not heated sufficiently, not well cooked hence when the flambé was drizzled on the ice cream it solidified to the consistency of a praline and the underripe bananas cold and ‘green tasting’. We simply left the dessert and placed an order for Inskillen Ice Wine and coffee. No Inskillen was the return information we received. We expressed our disappointment to the waitress relative to the banana’s foster and then one of the listed dessert wines. She in turn explained to us that they had, had a large party in earlier in the week and that they had depleted the 2 bottles in the inventory. We cancelled our coffee and asked for the check. The end, no! The waitress promptly brought our check, offered apologies and the managers business card. We gave her our credit card and when she returned the Manager accompanied her with a ‘short serving’ of Inskillen, repeated the story and offered his sincere apologies and a promise to have Inskillen whenever we returned. We promptly reopened our tab, found some alternative after dinner drinks and Coffee. I was going to give Perry’s 3 Stars since the dessert was so poorly executed but the actions of the waitress and manager more than offset our disappointment. It’s never about someone making a mistake but how they correct their error. This waitress and manager are superlative employees and well represent the quality which is Perry’s.

Originally I was going to give Perry’s 4 stars because of the price. The food & service has been exceptional every time I’ve been there but a dinner for 2 is $ 130 – 150 and that’s with no alcohol or desert. For me that bumps Perry’s to the special occasions only list. But then there’s the Friday pork chop lunch. It’s the best chop you’ve ever had. The lunch portion is 3 fingers thick and dinner portion is 5 fingers. The lunch is $ 13 which is a real bargain for this meal. So combining the Fri lunch with the over priced but delicious dinner I must say Perry’s gets 5 stars overall.

Came here with le boyfriend for the HRW menu. Made a dinner reservation for 9 pm, and the place was still pretty crowded when we got here. We didn’t bother with their valet parking, and instead walked the very short distance from the parking garage. We both ordered the pear salad for appetizer. I’m not usually a big fan of salads, but this one was very fresh and delicious! I especially liked the pecans. My bf is usually not a fan of nuts in his food(not a dirty joke) but he still ate every last bite! The service between courses was very smooth and fast, and we were soon presented with our steaks! We both ordered the 8 oz. Filet Perry, and I got Medium Rare while my bf got Medium. My only complaint was that the steak was very dry on the thinner end, while very bloody on the thicker end. The last few bites were a little too rare for my taste… the Medium was the same way. The steak was still very delicious, as was the crab meat on top! We also ordered a side of Au Gratin potatoes since the steaks only came with asparagus. The potatoes were good, but nothing special. The highlight of the meal(at least for me) was definitely the dessert! I ordered the Dessert Trio, and it came with a mini cheesecake, crème brûlée, and a chocolate truffle! My favorite by far was the crème brûlée! My bf got the white chocolate cheesecake, which was a bit too sweet. As we were eating, someone started playing the piano located next to the bar. This was a very nice touch to our evening, even though I would’ve preferred they play some classics instead of pop song covers. Everyone was very nice and friendly, and we had no complaints about the service. Overall, an excellent HRW menu and a great dining experience!

Sigh. Perry’s is ok. My biggest complaint with this particular Perry’s is bad customer service, from the hostess, the bar tender, the wait staff and even the managers. I’ve been several times and my experience is always luke warm because the food is just ok and the staff is so robotic in their attempts. I usually get the filet, but find that the crust is always too salty. Compared to other steakhouses in Houston, the filet just doesn’t seem to be of the same high quality. I have also tried their famous pork chop, and again, I was underwhelmed. I’ll only be back if someone else is paying.

Nice meal here. My wife and I ordered from the price fixe menu, and felt like we got great value. Normally on price fixe, you get substantially smaller portions, but for the most part eveything was close to the regular size or close. Food was prepared to expectations and staff was helpful.

The 2 stars has nothing to do with the food as it was excellent as usual. It is all related to customer service which was severely lacking so that knocked a 5 star review down. The Assistant General Manager, Courtney Chatman is a rude and condescending jerk. We made a reservation for Friday night for a booth. We asked for the circle booth as we had our 3 year old son with us. I made the reservation on OpenTable the night before and requested the circle booth. I never got a confirmation phone call from the restaurant like we used to get. So, we get to the restaurant on Saturday evening and tell the front we had a reservation. They take us to a table with no booth. We tell them this is not what we reserved. They take us back front and advise they will get the manager. Good olé Courtney walks up and is rude from the get go. My father explains to him what table we reserved and why and Courtney didn’t want to hear anything of it. He cuts my father off and said well that table can only be reserved through our special events coordinator. I have never heard this from anyone there. Courtney continues to say he doesn’t care if we made our reservation online or however. He won’t give us the booth. Then, he adds in to cover his tracks that the booth is already reserved for another party who will be coming in shortly. Ok, fine. They take us to a table that has a half booth which will work for controlling our son. My wife and I had him sit in the middle of us. It was a bit tight but we made it work. My son was well behaved the entire meal. It gets better. After we sit down, Courtney comes strolling up a couple minutes later. No apologies or anything for the inconvenience. Instead, he hands me the special event coordinator business cards and tells me this is who we need to call to reserve that booth. Then, he proceeds to give me another 5 of the special event business cards and says here’s some extras since you don’t seem to be aware of our policies. I tell him I don’t want the cards but he refuses to take them back. Well, I left those cards right on the seat as he ticked me off. I did make sure to get his card though. Final note, that circular booth was empty the entire time we were there. We had a 2 ½ hour dinner and not one person entered that«special booth» the entire time. The food was great and the dinner was still special don’t get me wrong. I just don’t appreciate the management disrespecting their customers and especially my father. Courtney needs an attitude adjustment or something. People pay a lot of money to come to that restaurant and you’d expect better service. You would think good customer service would start at the management level and trickle down.

Very disappointed, just left the restaurant and am so upset. We go to Perrys quite often and we are used to a very high level of service, however this time left much to be desired. It started off by being greated by 2 unenthusiastic hostesses, I thought ok well not what I would expect but maybe because we were not dressed up in our best attire. We were then seated and waited on by a waiter who seemed confused and not very attentive. We already knew what we wanted my husband wanted the pork chop, to which the waiter said«you know it’s past 4 and the lunch menu has ended» This lead me to believe he was questioning our ability to pay… Again I took a deep breath and took the higher road. I explained we were there for dinner and not lunch. We then ordered and I ordered a coke with my salad and asked for a glass of ice wine brought with dinner. My salad was under par and I was upset but didn’t complain. My steak and pork chop was wonderful, but it’s a good thing I wasn’t thirsty because he never brought my wine or refilled my coke. I’m very very disappointed in this experience and I have had better service at The Olive Garden. We may just have to go to the Memorial location after this.

I ordered the Prime Ribeye and a side of brusselsprouts. What I received was loads of salt with a side of ribeye and brusselsprouts. The steak and brusselsprouts were almost unbearably salty! I cried inside when the waitress took the bread. I ordered medium rare, but it came out somewhere between medium and medium-well and was a bit dry. Steak aside, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and a good crowd. The jazz pianist playing standards was nice, and our servers Sarah and Kelsey both provided excellent service and made the evening enjoyable.

Came here for date night with my wife last night. Had been here previously, although expensive had good service. Night didn’t start well when we were ignored by the cashier for 5 minutes. Finally when the host came up we were actually acknowledged and eventually seated. Got a table outside in the patio area. Service was marginal, with the server being quite cold(personality of a dead catfish!). Ordered the middle cut steak special with the trio sauces. Steak was good quality(definitely not worth the $ 50 per plate). The sherried mushrooms were excellent. Overall i struggled to see the value for the prices we were charged. I think there are much better establishments to spend my date nights at. I shan’t be returning

Much better. I know my review previously stated we would not be back but I thought we should give it another shot. Maybe the key isn’t to go on a weekend night. We had a delightful dinner and great service. Didn’t feel rushed and the food was delicious. I started with the lobster bisque and my husband had the shrimp cocktail. We then split the wedge salad which was gorgeous. I had the 12oz filet and my husband had their famous chop. He adored it and my food was very tasty. We shall return.

I’ve been to two different Perry’s, first the one in Memorial City about six years ago and recently the day after Christmas we went to the one in Cinco Ranch. Now I’m too damn lazy to write two different reviews and both restuarants were pretty much equal, so this is for both them boyz. First off the restuarants are extremely beautiful inside but I feel that the Memorial City one outshines the Cinco one tho. Service at each was excellent and that’s where the two stars come in. The first time at Perry’s I had the Sea Bass(which was ice cold) and the wife chose the filet mignon(which was dry). For appetizer we chose the crab cakes which were underwhelming. Paid the bill and vouched never to return to this place again! Fast forward six years later and a bunch of hype and talk about«the poke chop»!!! Finally convinced myself to give it another try since people were telling me that«the poke chop» was the BEST thang on the menu. Jumped in my car and fought the hard pull my car had going towards Cinco Ranch but made it there anyways. Now I’m not too keen on pork, matter of fact I really never eat it, but I took one for the team to Unilocal this masterpiece. Got to the resto, sat down and ate stale ass bread, and Katy tap water stored inside a fancy blue bottle, and ordered the poke chop for $ 12.95. Now when the server brought us this beast, it was like a whole baby pig! I mean, I felt like I was about to eat Babe or Wilbur from Charlotte’s Web! A side of mashed potatoes and applesauce accompanied the entrée. They cut it into three different sections and explained the best way to eat the meal, so you can savor each portion. After chewing my first cut I was totally confused, because there was nothing special about the entrée ATALL! Everybody in the restuarant ordered the same exact entrée and seemed to be in ecstasy from eating it, but I felt like Tom Hanks in Big and didn’t get it. Anyways, I did give Perry’s the olé college try and I’m good with it not being my scene. Maybe because I like quality over quantity, hell I don’t know, maybe my palates have escalated higher than they once were. Well, that’s one man’s opinion anyways.

My disappointment is for the service in the front of the house and the cleanliness of the restaurant. I first tried Perry’s at Memorial city mall 3 weeks ago for their unbelievable Pork Chop deal. The service from beginning to end was flawless especially with me only spending $ 12.95 on that massive goodness. So hubby and I had a date night and I thought lets go to Perry’s and try steak. We made reservations at this Cinco ranch location on open table. We walked in the hostess girl did not crack a smile she just said do you want to sit in the lounge? We said no I made reservations and she huffed and said wait a min. She then goes to the dining area and comes back and said we have a table. She walks us to a table on the floor even though my reservation details specifically say cozy booth requested. So I ask her can we have a booth and she says well I have to check. I let her know what I requested on my reservation and she then said you guys can sit her in this booth. It was late about 9:30 so not many people there so I didn’t understand her lack luster attitude, after all she is our first impression and contact at this location. So our waitress Kelly was nice not overly personable but warm enough to cut the tension of the hostess. So I looked to my left at the gorgeous lamp that sits on the table and the amount of dust was horrendous!!! I’m sure you would not find this dust at Del Friscos, Flemings, or Pappas which we frequent often. I took a picture because it was so bad. Food Spinach salad-DEVINE!!! Bone in Ribeye-perfectly cooked and well seasoned delicious. Pork chop-Best in my life better than the steak. Potatoes Au Gratin-good and cheesy with a hint of nutmeg I believe in the cheese really good. Creamed corn-reminds me of Corn Maque Choux in New Orleans. Creamy with spice great dish. Wine was fantastic do remember what I had but it was red and delicious. I probably won’t return to this location because service is everything to me and for the amount of money we dropped I demand to be treated like a guest not an annoyance. And it’s dusty plain and simple…

Definitely not the best steak I’ve ever had. Burnt my tongue for days on boiling French onion soup that also wasn’t that tasty, but everything we ordered was unusually salty. For the prices they charge, you’d expect everything to be top notch. Everything was just okay. The taste doesn’t match the expense. Meh.

My first time at this Perry’s location and it did not disappoint. We came here on a Sunday night and luck was with us as our waitress informed us that every Sunday they have a special. For $ 25 you get a full sized salad, the famous Perry’s pork chop, and a dessert trio(3 sample sized desserts). The wife and I ordered the pork chop special. Our son ordered the Kid’s Filet dinner. Salad: My wife had the pear salad which was mixed greens with sliced pears, mandarin orange slices, candied pecans(hint of cinnamon), tossed with italian vinaigrette. It was very good, a little spicy(black pepper and cinnamon), but tasty. I had the caesar salad. It contained the standard romaine, croutons, and anchovies(by request). The dressing was very eggy and delicious. One of the better caesars I have had. Dinner: The Kid’s filet was awesome. My son says it was on par with the steak at Taste of Texas. $ 22. Served with fresh cut fries sprinkled with a barbecue flavored powder. The pork chop is amazing. Carved tableside… it is thick, but cooked all the way through. The center was a little dry, but the end piece has more marbling and is perfect. Tender all the way through. The rib part was also flavorful and juicy. The pork chop is regularly $ 36, but at the $ 25 price point, this is a steal! Keep in mind the Kid’s steak is $ 22. For $ 3 more you are getting a full 3 course meal. Just do it! Sides: Cream Corn — loaded with bell pepper. I didn’t love it. It was okay. Broccolinni — perfectly cooked and seasoned. Dessert: Because we both ordered the pork chop special, we both received the dessert trio. Vanilla bean crème brulée, Grand Marnier chocolate truffle, and praline cheesecake. Everyone has their own taste, but my favorite was the crème brulée. I didn’t care for the other 2. My wife loves Bananas Foster. They cooked it tableside and served it over some of the most frozen ice cream I have ever had. This was the best dessert out of the 4. Bananas, brown sugar, rum, cinnamon, nutmeg, ice cream. Get it! Service: The service was attentive and friendly. I have to repeat that the pork chop special is a steal. The family dined out and paid less than our typical meal at Pappadeaux. This could become a Sunday night habit.

Meh, I wasn’t as impressed as I should have been for the reputation and the prices they charge. Don’t get me wrong, this is a nice restaurant. But $ 78 for two petite filets? My husband makes better tasting steak, and i guarantee that we don’t pay near as much. This was a birthday dinner for me so I feel a bit douchey writing this review as it seems ungrateful, which I am not. But I’m going to be honest! The restaurant itself is very nice. Dark and intimate with attentive wait staff. We were there on a weekday evening and had not made reservations. Not a problem. The restaurant was crowded but we were seated immediately. We started with stuffed mushrooms, which were very good. Five substantial sized mushrooms to the order. I ordered the petite filet(8 oz) as did my mom. We ordered the lyonnaise potatoes(think fancy breakfast potatoes, honestly) and the creamed corn to share. The sides were both very good. We had discussed dessert but decided against it as we were stuffed, however my mom had mentioned that it was my birthday when I stepped away from the table. Our waitress was kind enough to bring out their sampler trio with a lit candle. Very, very thoughtful! So this consisted of a sample of their cheesecake(awesome), a small portion of their crème brulé(also awesome), and a chocolate truffle that seemed to have hints of orange(effing amazing). All in all the food was good, but nothing I’d rave about. It was a nice evening at a nice restaurant. Would I go back? Yes, for a group deal…
