I’m not very knowledgeable in Vietnamese foods but the soups and fried rice here are amazing I go maybe 3 or 4 times a month when I have that craving! Great home like environment and service!

I love their phở, it’s hot, new, delicious, and also great for this type of cold weather. I also enjoy drinking their smoothies and slushies! Their prices isn’t too high, it’s a reasonable price. I went there today and that was probably the best dinner ever!

Not the best Vietnamese place in Katy but it was alright. The service was kind of uncomfortable. The lady didn’t know how to smile and stared at us weird. It was just me and my friend having a very mellow lunch. Also, the place was empty at noon, which isn’t very reassuring.

Appearance Isn’t impressive, there was crickets when I walked in. But the food is good, better than any phở off i10. Going to be our favorite place in Katy

We were brought menus by someone wearing gloves. She then proceeded to go behind the counter and make food with the same gloves. Disgusting. We left without ordering. Why wear gloves if you aren’t exclusively handling food?

This place has such a wonderful community feel to it! They remember us every time we visit. The phở is delicious and the fried rice is some of the best we’ve had! If you don’t eat pork, be sure to ask for no pork in the shrimp spring rolls! Apparently its a given they have pork, but I’ve never heard of such a thing. My fortune cookie had no fortune two times in a row… what does this mean!!!

I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t expecting much from this place. The restaurant’s far from the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever been to, plus I could barely understand the staff. I wouldn’t have be surprised if they got my order wrong. There were a couple of tv’s but I couldn’t understand anything. I think the staff was watching it. Not really considerate for the customers but I wasn’t there to be entertained. I ordered two Banh Mi and some egg rolls. The Banh Mi was decent sized, but I’ve had bigger for the same price. I didn’t experience the absence of the butter like many others did. The bread wasn’t too crispy. I wouldn’t say It was memorable. The egg rolls didn’t look that appetizing. My gf’s mom makes them so much better. I also got the lychee slurpy with lychee bits(I ordered the lychee slurpy w/coconut bits but whatever. Still good). All in all If I really want some Banh Mi, I’ll just drive down the road a bit more to get to the good stuff. 3 stars because they got my order wrong and for the unclean environment.

Fairly pleasant experience overall! Good portions, tender and tasty meats and the rolls were good. The wife enjoyed the teas, and the kiddo liked the fried rice. Friendly and courteous staff, clean facilities. Will return, nice neighborhood restaurant.

The food is garbage. The phở sucks, the rice plate is terrible. Meat is overcooked and tastes like plastic. Their sandwiches are just okay. I honestly have no idea how they are in business with such poor quality food. The food took over 30 min to get. Disappointment.

This was our first time to try Phở 88. I ordered to go food for me and my family. 3 Banh Mi thit noung(sandwiches chargrill pork) and 2 orders of gio cuon thit nuong(4 spring rolls) all costed $ 19 bucks. The bread needed to be toasted and there was NO delicious butter?! The spring roll had iceberg lettuce not romaine. the taste of the meat was decent. I am not sure if I will be back to try other foods there or not. maybe if I get desperate. but I would drive further down the road to 529 for banh mi.

I love coming here because the staff is friendly and the food is great. Yes, there is usually one lady working, but I get my order within 5 minutes of walking in which is amazing. And as for the place itself, the location is good, and compared to other phở restaurants in the area this place is pretty clean and the food is way better. Oh, and the fact that they sell smoothies w/tapioca is the reason why I rate it 5 stars!

This is the closest Phở Restaurant to my new home in Katy so I really wanted to like it. During the month of January I went here with my son and daughter in law, he had a rice plate, she had Phở, I had Banh mi and we all thought it was just OK. Then I went with my daughter and she disliked it to the point of barely touching her Phở but I had the Beef Stew with French bread and enjoyed it. Today I took my husband to try the beef stew. We were each enjoying our stew when a ROACH crawled up the wall right next to our table and made its way across the wall and went behind a framed photograph of Vietnam on the wall. UGH! Crossed this one off my list for good.

We weren’t terribly impressed with this place. The server was nice, but had a hard time understanding us, so all of our boba drinks were incorrect. Also, the boba had sat too long and was too soft. The phở broth was good, but the noodles were a solid mass at the bottom of the bowl. After we had finished no one thought to tell us we had to go to the counter to pay, so we sat there almost twenty minutes with the staff puttering behind the counter, oblivious.

First time visiting. Wasn’t very impressed. It our menu within seconds of walking in. Took 5 more min to get a drink order which we went ahead and gave our main order. Took 10 more min to get our drinks and the main order. Place was dirty. Weird dirt stains in the lights on ceiling. One of the bus boy(man) spilled a drink and proceeded to clean it up with napkins not a mop I got beef flank steak soup. Broth needed some help. Steak was chewy and so wide it was too much to eat in one bite. And they don’t provide knives for this. Never got a refill for our teas. I had to go up to counter to pay(which I don’t think is necessary since you order at the table) Recommendation — PASS

We went to Phở 88 for the first time today. When we arrived there were only a total of four tables, including us and another customer waiting for their to-go order. However, there was only one lady working in the front, who I assume is the owner. She was obviously overwhelmed although she still greeted us with a smile and apologized for the long wait, which wasn’t too long. We ordered Bo Luc Lac, BBQ Banh Mi and Phở. The Banh Mi was among one of the best I’ve had in Houston. The Bo Luc Lac was very good too. However, the Phở was kind of disappointing and lacked flavor. Later it got busier and the Banh Mi was so good we ordered another one. However, maybe because they were overwhelmed in the kitchen, the second Banh Mi wasn’t nearly as good. The bread felt like it wasn’t toasted enough, the meat wasn’t warm enough and they forgot to put butter on the bread. They are a little far from us, but if we are ever tired of the Vietnamese restaurants closer to us we may go back.

It’s a nice neighborhood Phở store. Yay for them having tapioca. When we’re done, we just go to the counter and pay.

Every time I come here I get the same thing: beef vermicelli. It is so good! I love that this place is so close to my house. It’s a nice neighborhood restaurant. My husband has ordered the smoothies with tapioca pearls often. Both the Lychee and Mocha smoothies are good. The only negative that I have about this place is that sometimes they don’t clean off the tables. Last time we walked in, there were about six or seven tables(there aren’t that many tables in this place to begin with) that still had dishes and food from the previous customers sitting there. When we left the restaurant, the tables were still dirty. This place reminds me of a small vietnamese place I went to in Oakland, CA. The place is nothing fancy, so if you want fine dining go elsewhere. If you want good Vietnamese, look no further.

This is our go-to-vietfood close to house, the service is great, food is great, they always greet you with smile :) LOVE their roasted chicken plate, sooo moist and flavorful. Can I also say their spring roll… ahhh soo refreshing whether its spring summer fall. All year long! Thankful that there is something nearby, and knowing you get A+ service & food!
