I love this place! The place is nice and clean and quiet. The food is delicious! The waiters are very helpful and quick. This place also has rewards ! :)

I will not be returning. Food: Phở — The noodles seemed to have been set out for a while, as they were clumped together in my warm broth. I know this happens from experience at parties I’ve been to. The noodles also broke as I tried to eat them. My broth was warm when it came out. The broth is okay. Hoison needed to be added for flavor. Egg roll — Came out cold and was not crispy. Milk tea — I asked if I could have mango flavored milk tea but when it came out it tasted like chemicals. I was a bit shocked so two of my friends took a sip and agreed. Service: We had one girl take our order and when it came to me I had a few questions. She looked at me clueless and went to another waiter to talk to her. The other waiter came and had to retake our orders. Keep in mind this is during our lunch break. Atmosphere: The place looks nice from the outside and in. They put effort into the décor.

The décor is inviting and the service was pleasant. I ordered Vietnamese spring rolls, noodle soup with seafood and Thai tea. The Thai tea had the right combination of tea and milk. The soup left me a little disappointed because it only had two shrimp, 3 pieces of fish ball, two pieces of baby corn and no squid. With only two shrimp in the soup, I opened one of the spring rolls to remove the shrimp and put it into the soup. I didn’t know this about the spring rolls, but they contain one shrimp split down the center. The two halves are put in different places, making it look like two shrimp. Before opening the spring roll, I never thought about the shrimp inside being split. At that point I had three shrimp. Every other time I’ve had phở, it came with a piece of lime. This place served a piece of lemon instead. It’s time to try the other phở restaurants in the area.

So during this crazy rain, I started craving something warm and soupy to compliment the weather. Stopped by phở bamboo to satisfy that craving. I was greeted and seated immediately. I order the fried egg roll for my daughter and a bowl of bun bo hue for us to share. The food came out hot and timely. The fried egg roll was not good. At all. My non-picky eater toddler wasn’t even a fan of it. The nuoc mam to dip it in was water with a hint of fish sauce. The bbh however wasn’t too bad. Better than phở Saigon for sure. But for $ 10 a bowl I might reconsider ordering it again. I’m not sure if I added too much lime or If the broth had too much lemongrass(doubtful since you can never have too much lemongrass) but it was a little too sour. I would return again to try their phở.

We found this place by accident. I haven’t had vietnamese in years, but from what I can tell, it was fantastic. I had their Banh Mi with grilled pork and it was great, my wife had one of the Phở soups. We will definitely be going back. One thing to note: If you are bringing kids, you might have a hard time finding something for them. We like to give our kids exposure to different foods and so we ended up finding something, but if your little ones eat off the kids menu, you might be in trouble.

I guess i knew from the moment I walked in. This place is AMAZEBALLS!!! I have been to plenty of phở places and this is the only place i can say that they actually season their phở broth!!! The staff was rude and an order of spring rolls took forever! I called in an order for pick-up but added the spring rolls when i arrived. The server called a lady out of the kitchen to add the spring rolls and she gave me a dirty look and sighed on her way back to the kitchen. I paid and waited by the counter and the server behind the counter asked me not to stand there and have a seat, even though I was the only person picking up food at the counter. The place looked fairly clean but had a STRONG sewage smell, maybe their drains or something? Not that rich, homey, broth that’s been cooking for hours you want to smell when you go to a phở house. I’ll definitely try phở Chopstix down the street next time I’m in the mood for phở.

The place is very clean with nice deco. The Vietnamese Egg Rolls were good, not the best I’ve had but pretty good. I ordered the Bahn Mi with Chicken & was totally disappointed where I only are half. The bread was not toasted & was very mushy since the pickled carrots were drenching it. It was also very bland. My husband got the Vermicelli Bowl with Grilled Chicken & Egg Rolls. They didn’t add the carrots since it was in the fish sauce & no cucumbers. He also ordered a Vietnamese coffee which didn’t come as expected. The have him iced but then fixed it. But instead the have it to him in a to go paper cup with no refills. In my opinion… it was over priced for what we got especially since there are way better places that are much cheaper(even though it was still fairly cheap). I have it 2 stars for the cleanliness & Egg Rolls.

Amazing service, atmosphere and delicious food!!! The Phở broth was less oily compared to the competition. Cornish hen with fried sticky rice patties is amazing. Bun bo hue(my favorite) was the best I was able to get at a phở place!!! The waiter there remembered that I would always order Thai Tea without tapioca with my food! It was very nice to have such an attentive service. Prompt and attentive service plus delicious food. Nothing more could be asked!

I was driving along Mason and saw this establishment. Of course, I stopped because I consider myself a foodie(really I’m just greedy and love to eat). As I entered, I was immediately met with a greet and then seated. I ordered a Taro Coconut Tapioca Smoothie(Eh?) and the Tender Brisket Phở(OMG!). As I was eating, I saw that everyone was ordering the fried chicken wings. Of course, with me being a foodie :), I told the waiter that I’d like to give them a try as well. Glad I did. They were different. Not sure that I’d order them again, but definitely worth a try. Food: 5⁄5 Ambiance: 3⁄5 Service: 4⁄5 :)

This place is nothing to write home about. The food wasn’t nasty, but it wasn’t good either. I ordered the Fried sticky rice patties with grilled pork, ChaGio which is the Fried Vietnamese Eggrolls, and a MilkTea. The rice patties were hard and over cooked the pork didn’t taste like anything except for vinegar, very little taste and very fatty/chewy. The Eggrolls came with a delicious sauce but the stuffing in the Eggrolls was not very flavor full but we’re alright. The hot milk tea was one size which was only around 12oz. For $ 4.50, it didn’t have much flavor, just the milk. Like I say, none of the items were completely bad but It was very expensive for me to end up throwing half of my food away. It just wasn’t worth chewing after a while. 3 stars because it’s clean and the staff were very attentive.

New phone place in the vicinity thought I give it a go. My go to phone place before this is phone Saigon down the street. Ordered spring roll and phở Tai chin. Spring roll came out peanut sauce was not so tasty super watery and really sweet. My favorite phở Tai chin at first glimpse looked delicious first sip of soup like the peanut sauce a bit sweet of a broth. This place not worth me speaking more and also this place is not a Sweet place to visit lol

1st visit was a good one. I had the combo with a Bahn MI and egg rolls which were delicous. I just wish there was a little more meat in the sandwich. I tasted some of the phở which was also good. Nice clean and new. Will be back.

A little bit pricier than other phở places, but all of the food was excellent and the ambiance made it worth the extra few bucks. The grilled pork was delicious and I really liked my passion fruit tea, it wasn’t too sweet.

I love the ambiance very much. The bamboo fountain at the entrance serves well for a calm first impression. I give the place 5 star for the food and service based on the standard of a noodle house: welcome with the smiles, concern our opinions of food quality, and let me take my time looking at the menu! The Phở aka noodle soup broth is delicious to me. However, you can’t expect a super traditional delicious phở in the middle of Katy; it’s surely adjusted to local taste. And most lovely, they have vegetable phở and fresh house made taro smoothie~

Wow I am shocked that a Phở restaurant would fail so drastically at the one thing they need to do well. The broth in the Phở dishes tastes like burnt rubber or perhaps scorched kitchen cleaner. After dumping tuns of sriracha into the bowl it was kind of palatable. Oh and I was checked upon once and the drink I ordered never came. I had to order my iced coffee again and they brought me a Togo cup who knows what McDonalds iced coffee. This place is awful. AWFUL!

After eating phở at our regular place we decided to check it out on Unilocal. After reading many reviews of an infestation at our regular spot we knew we had to make a change. We live right down the street from Phở Bamboo so we thought let’s give it a try. After walking in we immediately noticed how clean it was after it was a new spot, I’d say about 3 months old. We were promptly greeted, and sat by an elderly Vietnamese lady. She gave us our menus and took our drink orders. I had an iced tea and my wife had water. The tea was amazing as usual. I ordered the lunch special which consisted of a bowl of phở beef or chicken. I chose beef. It also came with 2 shrimp spring rolls, and peanut dipping sauce. My wife ordered the chicken & vermicelli, and she also had 2 vegetarian spring rolls that had fried tofu and rice noodles. The food was quickly delivered, all tasted AMAZING! The only complaint was the elderly lady was very hard to understand, and she had a hard time understanding us. That’s the only reason why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.

The brand new noodle house in Katy area… the food is really good!!! Especially the cornish hen and sticky rice, i’ve been tried anything better than the one there. They also have variety of vnese food like noodle soup, vermicelli and rice platter.
