1 Star, simply because it’s the lowest rating. I attempted to copy our withdrawal letter we sent to the manager, but it was too long. So, instead, I have copied the introduction. Excuse my use of both male and female pronouns; we go to the extreme in protecting our child’s identity. I wanted to write you a letter detailing why we(my wife and I) chose to withdraw our(child) from your facility. We withdrew him/her, and withdrew him/her earlier than our Two Week Notice letter termination date, for three reasons: we believed, and still do believe,(1) our(child) was not safe at your facility;(2) his/her classroom teacher and facility director did not value his/her health and well-being, nor did they value our opinion or his/her pediatrician’s opinion on this matter; and,(3) we felt the lack of leadership, and observed leadership thus far, was detrimental to our(child’s) health and progress. End of the intro. Of all the problems we experienced in the roughly 6 weeks our child was at the facility, 2 were extremely troublesome. The first to occur — our child was made to sit in his/her own urine long enough that the urine had almost dried; his/her top, bottom, undergarments, socks and shoes had been SOAKED! And, the teacher, the actual classroom teacher, let him/her go through almost the entire day with urine soaked clothes. The second to occur happened on his/her last day at the facility. Our child, like many others, did not learn to use the potty effectively the first time… and automatically go and use the potty every time he/she had to go. And, since the school had NO schedule, our child had accidents. The teacher, and the director, placed all the blame on our child. And, the last day he/she was there, the teacher withheld part of the morning snack! We found out when our child had a nightmare and told us about this: he/she was not given the complete morning snack because he/she had an accident and the teacher was frustrated at him/her. And, the rest of the morning snack was actually still in the lunchbox, without a note of why it was there. As for the webcam mentioned in the previous post, it’s an old system and not very clear. If you go to a newer facility, the monitoring systems are amazing and light years away from the system at this facility.
