Stopped by to check it out because I really love thrift shops and immediately heard one of the associates speaking unkindly to a customer. Apparently a customer was asking too many questions about a piece and the associate did not want to help them. The associate said to a different customer, ‘there’s only two people here, how about they shop for themselves. I’m over this.’ And something along the lines of the customer is ‘getting on her nerves.’ I’ve worked in retail and customers are not always the best people to deal with but she was quite cranky, unprofessional, rude, and was not a good representation of the business. I will not be doing business with them.

I have to start off by saying I have never consigned with this shop or this company. Here’s my experience as a customer: The store is very full and there is an overwhelming«thrift store» smell, but I have left with arms full and a smile on my face every time I have been inside. In my experience, the staff have been very friendly and helpful. One time when I asked, they helped me put an outfit together for an event I had that same evening. I’ve found great stuff there and will definitely be going back. My most recent haul consisted of a really great ugly Christmas sweater, and they had a TON to choose from. Prices on the tag are a bit high, but there has been a sale(with a hefty 40−60% discount on everything) every time I’ve been in the store so that makes it reasonable. This is by far my favorite thrift store in the Katy area. Not to mention that they have MUCH better customer service than the Plato’s across the way.

Horrible place to consign at and shop. Also, noted before I start my rant, most online reviews for the business(mainly google and yahoo) are reviews written by the owners, manager, and employees. BEWARE when reading a positive review. If it was the persons only review, there is a good chance it was written by an employee of the store being bribed by the owner. From a customer stand point, the owners are extremely cheap and therefore never clean the store. I was in there one time and found bugs all over the dresses in the back corner, just from nobody vacuuming in months. They also sell ‘designer’ handbags that if you look closely, are completely fake,(Ex. a TON of Coach purses, made out of plastic with $ 300 on the price tag) so beware of scams. The managers are also very rude. They say they’re under new management but its actually the same people that they move from store to store. Check all electronics before you buy them to make sure they work, because although they say that they test them, they do not. Same for furniture. They might super glue a leg on a sofa just to get it out of the store(which has happened). They claim they are a high end store, when in reality Ive seen better quality at Goodwill for a fraction of the cost. Forever 21, Target, and other main but fairly priced clothes are priced starting at $ 25+ here. and they’re used. From a consignee stand point, just don’t do it. They give consignment a HORRIBLE name. First, they take 60% of the profit and leave you with 40%. Not too bad, but you have the typical 90 days to sell the item, afterwards if you don’t pick up your items right away, they will take it and move it to another store for their profit, OR they will donate it and use the receipts for a tax break. So say for instance you take in a couple dresses for consignment, they will put the price super high so it wont sell, then when the item hits the expiration date with the store, they will steal it, and sell it for a fair price elsewhere. Essentially scamming you on your credit amount. They especially love to do this with purses, fur coats, or any other nice and high priced item. Also, beware of your kids going there for ‘Ladies night’ and other ‘fun’ events of theirs. They are known to hand out alcohol to literally anyone, including minors. Ive seen employees get drunk with customers and then take advantage of the situation. Honestly, I could go on for days about how this place should no longer be in business. It gives consignment a really, really horrible name. Tread lightly, Unilocalers.

I went in to browse once and left quickly. Very hot, disorganized, and the baby/kids section is lacking. The toys and baby equipment were very beat up, and the clothes were not in good condition.

Very disappointing!!! Expected better of a consignment shop in this part of town! Very nice clothes(two were Chico’s outfits) seem to have been lost since I brought them in on the 4th of March. A nice western jacket — perfect for anyone shopping for the Houston Rodeo — is part of the lost clothing. I don’t have the items, I don’t have compensation for what they would have sold for. I have nothing but apologies from the manager after numerous calls to her all this month. I have never received a call back. I would caution anyone considering bringing nice clothes to it DON’T DOIT!!!
