Wow, I am super impressed with Johnson. I have been searching for someone in Katy who could color my hair and do an amazing job. I have found the person, Johnson is great. He made my hair look natural and amazing. I have really dark hair so this is a challenge. I use to drive 45 minutes in town to get my hair colored but that drive ends today. If you are looking for someone to listen and do amazing color, go see Johnson. You will not be sorry.

I have never had a facial in my life until I came into Wen Chic last week. Luz was amazing! Not only in taking care of my skin but thoroughly explaining how and why she was doing/​using certain things, but making sure I knew how to properly care for my skin after leaving her. She was gentle and relaxing, and I felt extremely comfortable as if she was my best friend. And always a great bonus, they offered refreshments, coffee/​tea or even a mimosa for a slightly late start to the appointment, which was not an issue for me, but she was extremely apologetic. Great spa, highly recommended! My skin looks and feels healthy and glowing.

Went to the salon today for the first time. The staff were so kind. I actually had a new talent stylist and one of the director stylists came over and complimented her as well as have her some pointers in a very professional way. My husband had a stylist and we loved them both. We are new to the Houston area and they took the time to give us pointers about the area. We were both really happy with our haircuts and will definitely be returning!

Just got my hair colored with John and it looks amazing! I was so nervous cause we just moved to Katy and it was time to choose a new colorist. I think I’ve found my new stylist!

I have been coming to Wen Chic since we first moved to Richmond almost 4 years ago. I never leave unhappy. The people who work at the front desk are courteous and kind, and always offer to get me a drink. I feel like my time there is important to them, and have never been left waiting around or double booked. My stylist Jonea is amazing and gives the best, most relaxing shampoos. She makes me feel special, and listens to what I need and knows how to make the most of what I’ve got to work with. I always feel and look beautiful when I leave. I get compliments on my haircut and color wherever I go. You’d have a hard time convincing me to ever go anywhere else.
I also use the eyebrow waxing services and ditto my review above — I always leave feeling and looking great — with a minimum amount of redness or pain.

So I will warn everyone before going here. I went in for a trim, yes a trim and walked out with my top of my hair chopped. Yes, this key cut layers into my hair where I have cowlicks. So once it’s done, it’s done. So now it is growing back and it sucks and can not have anything done to it. Yes I look like alfalfa.
So months later the manager calls me and she wants to see it. I go in and I am given 2 options. Perm rolls or extensions. So they added 2 where she chopped my head and it looked nice. However, where these were stuck, you can’t hide it and can’t do a ponytail. So 3 days later I got them out with a help of a friend and costing me money from Sally beauty supply.
So, in the end it cost me $ 70 $ for a BAD cut, $ 100 for the extensions, and 8 $ for the glue removal. So it cost me 178 $ for a jacked up hair cut. Don’t waste your money, time or hair on this place. And of course NO apology or refund!

I’ve been coming here for years. Minette is always amazing. My hair looks amazing. She does famtastic color and great cuts. MUST go see her.

I went there this past weekend to get my grays colored and I was very pleased with service. I really enjoyed my stylist Taylor. she was sweet and helpful. She dealt with my awful hair with such patience… she took her time and was awesome the whole time. I will definitely go back.

My ode to Minette: It had been 20 months since I walked into a hair salon. With two year old twins and a terminally ill husband, my hair was one of many things I had learned to neglect. They were so accommodating, scheduling me with short notice. I was warmly greeted and seen straight away. But the gem of this salon goes by the name Minette, one of their Master Stylists. After showing Minette a picture of what I was thinking for my hair, she took it and made it far better. Being biracial and having terribly wonderful curls is challenging. She understood my desire for easy management while still maintaining my signature curls. To say she took care of me is an understatement. What I loved almost as much as Minette was her willingness to teach those around her. It’s not everyday a girl with mixed hair goes into a salon and requests a short bob. Several other stylists gathered to watch and Minette explained what she was doing and why as she continued to snip away. I believe Minette knew this wasn’t just a haircut for me, but a momentary retreat that was going to allow me to leave that salon a refreshed mama and caretaker. I love, love, love her for that. Let me start by saying that I absolutely loved my hair! Minette was wonderful and gave me the best color (highlights and lowlights) I’ve had, and a great cut too. Loved her, and my hair. But, seriously, am I the only person who’s suffered from sticker shock? $ 325??? I might have expected that from Cerón, — but a salon in a strip center in Katy? With a $ 40 tip, I’m up to $ 365, and they want me back in 6 weeks? I’m a single mom with a mortgage, car payment, and a kid that eats like a horse. I went because of the great reviews — and truly, my only complaint was the price. Even with a $ 50 consultation, a master haircutter, master colorist, and a «master shampooer» (if that’s possible), I can’t quite figure it out. Where is my winning lottery ticket, or Prince Charmng when you need him? :-p

I think I found my new salon! After moving to Houston earlier this year, I had a bad experience at Aurea Salon in Cinco Ranch, so I put off trying to find another place. I stopped into Wen Chic and was greeted by the friendly front staff. After explaining what I was looking for in a stylist, Tara was able to recommend a few that would fit my needs. I went with Jon and was able to get an appointment just two days later.
Jon was great! He really listened to what I wanted for color and cut and delivered. He was friendly and professional and really knew how to provide exactly what a client asks for. The color was perfect and he cut only the amount I asked for an nothing more. It’s a little on the pricey side, but not too bad for the quality you get. I will definitely be going back!

Minette is the absolute best!!! We have been talking about extensions for two years and it finally came true for me this week. With my super thin hair this is just what I needed to feel girlie and sexy before my 20 year high school reunion. I can not say enough how happy I am with the work that Minette does for me and for my amazing new look.

This is my hubby’s account and didn’t want to make my own (lol) but had to share my experience at this salon. I was new to the area and had a very bad hair disaster at a salon before I found this one. My hair stylist was Marni, absolutely the BEST at knowing exactly what I was looking for. So sweet, funny and knows what’s she’s doing! Sadly, I had to move so I don’t get to get my hair done anymore by her, but she wrote down all my color numbers to give to my new hairstylist when I do find one. She’s awesome!

Just got my hair done there and it was amazing! ASK FOR JON. He is phenomenal! Kinda pricey but totally worth it. Will go back for sure.

I love this salon. Its expensive but the service levels and quality is worth it. I got my haircut from Hannah and she is such a peach. We both talked about our Australian shepherd puppies and she made it easy to relax and enjoy some company.
my hair just needed a simple cut to start the process to make it full and healthy again. Hannah delivered on that just right and styles it for me since I was not used to the length and such. The décor is nice and there are always refreshments available and offered to clients.
Only negative thing is I have Brent dying for over a week to schedule my next cut and it seems extremely difficult to get hold of a human. Gotta keep on them I guess.

Amazing! I would recommend Wen Chic to anyone! I made the mistake of box dying my hair on Monday and the roots turned an awful shade of orange and the bottom just didn’t take the color at all. Saturday I’m in my brothers wedding in CA and scheduled to fly out early Tuesday morning. I spent all night Monday panicking about my hair. I FB messaged Wen Chic and the owner messaged me back an hour later and squeezed me in to fix my hair the very next morning! Not only were they able to fix my hair but they were more than willing to work with me on the price since I was also freaking out about dropping a fortune before my vacation. I’m never going anywhere else to get my hair done! Hannah was my stylist and she was fantastic! Thank you so much!

Next to finding a good husband, finding a great hair salon is probably one of the most difficult challenges a woman can face. I just moved into the area and I think I have found the one! Marni is fantastic. She is a great colorist and gave me a really good cut too. The salon has a very pleasant, upscale feel and everyone who works there is very friendly. You can tell they understand customer service, and they go out of their way to ensure you are enjoying yourself while you are there. Prices are a bit on the high end, but well worth it for the quality of work.

I highly recommend Marni !! She has a great energy and vibe! Love that she is flexible with my schedule and she does an amazing job !!!
