Best steak and chicken fried rice I’ve gotten at a take out spot, way better than the local chinese places. Tastes like mom’s cooking. Great homemade hot sauce, nice kick at first bite but also has a nice smooth finish and lingering burn; pairs well with the rice dish. Thankfully my wife speaks Spanish because they have some type of corn appetizer(roasted and served with above hot sauce) which I now double order every time I order here. Staff is very friendly, 1st time we ordered inside and waited. Woman at the counter was sweet and funny. Will be ordering the rice and corn here regularly.

One of the best ceviches I’ve tried so far. . and I have been to many Peruvian restaurants in NJ. The food came out fresh and the service was awesome. Would highly recommend this place to anybody in search for a great Peruvian restaurant !

I love this little tiny place, i feel like i have found a lost Homemade Spanish food Gem. Their food its always Fresh well seasoned and its just«On point». Well done guys! Its worth coming here for dine in if you know what you«gettin into». For those who dont like waiting, there always is the take out option or delivery as well. Prices are reasonable. Depending of the day Their lunch special is unbeatable for 7.50 $(Cash only) you’d get, Chicken or beef orzo Soup, Rice mashed potatoes/Salad and a nice peace of steak or chicken, plus a can of soda. I highly recommend their Aji/Mild garlic Sauce with herbs, its just out of this world.

My parents love the Jalea from this place. I had lomo saltado and it was bit too soggy wasnt sure if they gave me lomo a jugo instead. Overall great small place to eat.

Great taste, good portions and a very reasonable price. I would recommend the papa a la huancaina, which is boiled potato with a yellow sauce, eggs and olives. If you like beef try the lomo saltado, and definitely try the ceviche mixto, great flavor. There are a lot of Peruvian restaurants in this area and I tried a few and this is consistently the best.

Home-made, delicious Peruvian food. The staff is very nice, everone was smiling and the food was really good and portions are large. If you don’t know what to order — just ask for a picture menu — great idea, by the way. I had a fried rice special, which included chicken, beef, and a lot of seafood. Everything was fresh, and the atmosfere is great. Would definitely go back and reccomend to anyone.

I had the«Bistek a la Pobre» which comes with and egg, hot dog, rice and maduro. It’s a little different from the regular bistek I get from Cuban or Puerto Rican places but it was very well marinated. They give large servings and the cost is very average. For 15 bucks you’d have a complete meal that can satisfy any appetite. Located on the Belleville Turnpike, there’s really no parking except for side streets, you can easily miss it but once you’re inside, you’ll realize how big it is, it can probably seat 30 people comfortably, ideal if you’ll have a very private party or meeting. The owner was speaks Spanish and a little English, so I had to brush up a bit on my Spanish, the important thing is you can point at what you want from the menu. I don’t know how quick they deliver, but waiting for food isn’t that long.
