Rite Aid

This store is really lousy. Honestly, I’ve taken 4 prescriptions there and they were out each time. Why would I bother going back? By the way CVS had my prescription in stock each time. The only reason I go to Rite Aid is because it’s close to home. The employees are not very friendly either. It’s obvious they don’t like working there. I will NEVER shop at Rite Aid again.

Run, don’t walk, away from this pharmacy. I have tried to work with them and I finally gave up. They are so concerned with Rite Aid policy and procedures the medication and the customer are treated like an afterthought at best and a huge inconvenience at worst. I am not allowed to see the medication until it is rung up and paid for. I was not able to obtain my prescriptions over a long weekend because the pharmacist rung up a $ 5.00 medication for $ 60.00 and did the same with a few others. It was a mess and I was treated like it was my fault. The pharmacist raised his voice so loud for all to hear. I had tears in my eyes from feeling so humiliated by him. There is no confidentiality. I have witnessed the same scenario with other customers. I went to the Rite Aide corporate site and learned that there were law suits against the Rite Aide Corp. that resulted in the way they do business such as not allowing the customer to see the medication. Forget about any questions regarding the medications. It just doesn’t happen. Time to move on,

I didn’t know that Rite-​Aid sucks! I went in to get a few things like body wash etc. and found that it was $ 2.00 more expensive at Rite-​Aid then most other places, I had signed up for their «Wellness Card», well honestly after paying those high prices for a year, to get 20% off of the whole store, it would pretty much knock down the prices to every day prices to what they are everywhere else! No thanks! I’d rather go out of My way and shop somewhere else, keep your «Wellness Card!»

This place is another hit or miss. Generally overpriced merchandise, but they do have sales which is helpful. However I could pinpoint select cashiers who are genuinely nice, polite and friendly people every time. The rest just all seem to treat you as a pain in the ass. Including much of the pharmacy staff. Not all of course. But some.
Enough to leave an impression. (or a lack of for that matter) 3 stars.
