Cherry Garden

Four of us are lunch here. We had vastly different dishes and we were all really pleased. Frankly the four of us are used to good Asian food and this did not disappoint. Planning to make it a regular spot. Sushi looked beautiful! That’s next!

i ate here recently and was pleasantly surprised! New chef?

When we arrived the place was fairly empty which is usually an indicator of the quality of a restaurant. We sat down and there were the usual fried noodles for dipping on the table. They were stale and thus inedible. And thus started the meal. I was looking to do pros and cons here but I only have cons.
Here they are:
Service was slow: 2 weight staff for the entire restaurant. It was slow and it wasn’t busy.
Hot and sour soup had a weird flavor — like they had used some oil past its prime.
Dinner boxes were greasy. Spring roll was more greasy than usual — similar off taste. Beef and chicken. heavy with grease. The box itself was also hot so maybe it had been microwaved?
I asked the rest of my party if they enjoyed their meals and everyone said no.
Upon leaving the proprietor couldn’t even be bothered to stop browsing the web to look up and say the usual «thanks and good night».
Would not return.

I LOOOOOVE Cherry Garden!!! The food is sooo good and they make the BEST sushi. The owner and staff is very sweet! The restaurant is super clean too!

Yummy! We enjoyed our crab rangoon & sesame chicken. This new space is so much nicer than their previous location.

It’s ok. Prices are appropriate for what you get. Not the top of the list in Keene but definitely not bottom. Service was good, I hear the sushi is fine as well. Visit on Monday, plenty of space.

The new Cherry Garden location is a WINNER. Much more intimate atmosphere, usually busy, and the food seems to be generally fresher and tastier — probably because of the higher customer turnover.

I have been to the new Cherry Garden on Main Street twice since they moved. I was a big fan of the old place because it was such an appealing room. The new place is darker, but there is the same polite and friendly service. I had a spicy tuna roll which was delicious. I sat in a small booth in the back, which has a window.

They have moved to the new Main St location. This was my first time eating there and was for lunch with my wife and son.
We had crab rangoons as an appetizer, they were very lightly fried and were tasty. I ordered one of their «lunch box» specials. For $ 9 I got a California roll, a spring roll, rice, 2 crab rangoons, and General Tso’s chicken. I was amazed at how much food we all got for the price. It was all very good and I was pretty happy to have found this place.
For a Chinese restaurant this place is one of cleanest and appealing I’ve been in.
I’m looking forward to eating there for dinner in the future.
