This is a somewhat smaller Guitar Center than some of the ones I’ve been to around the country. Comparatively speaking, they have a decent selection of electric guitars, but a pretty limited selection of basses. Their acoustic room is a good size, but for the most part their selection is limited to the entry-​level/​mid-​level brands — not a lot from Taylor, Martin or Gibson. Their pro-​audio selection looked good but their percussion section was very limited.
On the plus side, they probably had the friendliest and most helpful staff that I’ve ever dealt with at a Guitar Center.
And they do have a GC Studio for practice rooms and lessons.
If you’re shopping for guitars in Keizer, then GC is probably the place to go…

I bought a vintage Yamaha guitar online from this location. The guitar had some issues as 50-​year old instruments will have. Samuel contacted me, explained the condition of the guitar so I knew exactly what was coming. His attention to the transaction and his concern for my satisfaction made the purchase very enjoyable. I’m very happy with my experience at Guitar Center Salem-​Keizer!

At my work we were looking for a few big prize packages for our giveaways, and another store in town that I tried to work with wasn’t very friendly and pretty unresponsive. I called Guitar Center and Andrew the store manager didn’t hesitate to work with us. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever I contacted him. When I went to the store to pick the guitars up, all the sales associates were friendly as well. I was really impressed by the store as well. It was clean, well set up, and was much bigger than it looked on the outside. If I ever decided that I wanted to try my hand at playing guitar again, I would definitely come here. I also heard they offer classes, which is awesome and I would definitely go there. I would also work with them any time.
I 100% recommend this place and the people here.

I bought a Fender MIM jazz bass from these guys from an on line search. The sales person Kyle and the manager Brandon were fantastic to deal with. This is a 1993 guitar and it is exactly as described. It arrived at my home in Tucson a day early and it’s perfect.
